102. Friday Night

Saoda shut the window door tightly after time had darkened in the vast sky. He moved the window cloth and closed the window surface.

Saoda turned to look at Tuo who stepped into the room while carrying an incense burning embers to produce small smoke.

Saoda sat on the edge of the bed staring at her husband's strange behavior.

"What is the incense for?" tanya Saoda made Tuo who was sitting on the board right in front of the incense while sprinkling incense powder on the embers.

"This is for the antidote to the retardation. Afraid there's a ditch near this house."

"Parakang?"

"Yes. Father said that Friday night sometimes Parakang will go out and roam the village and smell the smells that might attract his attention."

"I don't want Parakang to come to this house."

Saoda could only nod with a bow until he thought he was surprised after remembering something. If tonight is Friday night then it means he has to give a decision to Puang Banga.

But to be honest Saoda did not have a decision yet.

Tuo placed the incense on the entrance of the room with a smile. Actually this incense for the safety and security of the fetus conceived by his wife.

Tuo wanted if the fetus in Saoda's bladder could be born safely later.

Tuo turned to find his wife who looked silent as if she was thinking about something.

"What's wrong? What are you thinking?" tuo asked who stepped closer to Saoda and knelt in front of him.

Saoda could only smile. She shook her head slowly and gently touched her husband's head as if he was trying to show that he was okay.

"Then?"

"No. I think I'll go to bed early tonight. You know my body feels so tired even though all day I don't do anything."

"Well, sleep! Let me help you."

Saoda laid her body on the bed aided by her husband who seemed much more attentive than yesterday.

"Do you want to eat something?"

"No, I just want to sleep."

Saoda turned her back to her husband after Tuo nodded. Saoda's eyes are now forced to shut. He wanted Tuo to think that he was sleeping.

Saoda's eyes were closed, but his mind was now thinking about his decision. What should he choose?

If he decides to become Parakang then he will lose the love of Tuo, the husband who is so sincere in loving and loving him, he will lose the love of Tuo, but he could not if he had to see the bad people who had destroyed his life were living a happy life, both the people who had burned Indo and his Father and the people who had raped*her on that day.

Saoda knows all decisions must have an impact and the resulting risks that will affect his future.

What should Saoda be now? Maybe now puang Banga is waiting for him.

Enough already! Saoda could not think anymore. Since then he tried to find a decision but it only made shadows and their faces popping up making Saoda's body feel heated and it felt like this body wanted to burn.

The increased body temperature makes sweat pour over his body at night which can be said not to be hot.

Saoda turned her body to find the figure of her husband who is now seen sound asleep with the back of his hand under the cheek.

Saoda turned to stare at the dark ceiling of his room. Maybe it's time.

Saoda got up from his bed slowly trying not to make the slightest sound. He had to be careful that Tuo would not wake up from his sleep because it was just a mistake he had made.

Saoda stepped down from her bed while folding her lips inwards. He went down quietly and barely made a sound.

Saoda sighed that tightness as she continued to step closer to the door of the room. He turned to look at Tuo for a moment who seemed to be still asleep.

"I'm sorry, Tuo. I'm sorry for making a decision like this."

"Honestly I don't want to if you hate me, but I don't want to if they're all people I hate to live happily."

"I accept all the things that will happen after I make the decision to become Parakang."

"I love you so much, but I can't forget my promise to my parents."

"I have promised to destroy them all and I cannot ignore my promise."

"I'm sorry again once again."

Saoda turned and stepped away leaving the room area. Saoda moved his legs very slowly. It's not safe for him yet. Saoda's heart rate now increased as the sound of a small board ringing at each foot of Saoda stepped.

Every now and then Saoda turned his head around trying to make sure that Tuo and Puang Dodi did not wake up and look at him like this.

He gulped his saliva, which felt stuck in his throat that felt it had dried up.

Saoda drives the nail that has become a barrier so that the door does not open. Saoda turned it around with trembling hands. Saoda bit his lips firmly trying to gather all his strength. Sometimes he rubbed his wet hands and was unable to open the door.

Saoda took a sip once more of his salivary and turned his head to stare in all directions trying to open the door.

Gluey!!

The open door was accompanied by a sound that was not too loud it was created making the two eyes of Saoda tightly closed.

Saoda turned his head trying to make sure if they had not woken up.

Saoda opened the door slowly and stepped out of the house and closed it tightly again.

Saoda was made silent after seeing the front view of the house that looks so dark and creepy. There were many opposing owls and bats in the sky.

Saoda never thought if the view of his house that always looks beautiful can look this scary.

Saoda took a deep breath and held him as he tried to step down down the squeaking steps whenever stepped on by him.

After he arrived above ground level Saoda turned back to look at the door of the house and turned towards the yard of the house that looked so dark.

Saoda rubbed both arms of his hands that felt cold plus he felt goosebumps as the coolness of the night wind came caressing his body.

Saoda ran at a fast pace through the darkness of the night that he did not care if there were any standing plants that might hurt him.

What Saoda thinks is that he needs to be fast away from home and hopefully no one will see him here.
