Dwarf
55. Dining together.

"What's wrong?"

"I feel hungry" replied Saoda, who was smiling, making Sambe laugh.

"Patience, Son. It's not long."

"Sambe!!!"

The sound of shouting was heard from outside making Saoda turn his head. He knows that voice.

"That's Father. You have come home" said Saoda who immediately got up from his seat and ran towards the door with a happy feeling.

"Mr-"

Saoda's steps and screams came to a quick halt when he saw the Father and the boy figure that was so very attractive to Saoda, yes who else if not Tuo. The buffalo herder's man.

Why did he come here with his father, Puang Dodi who was seen putting the hoe right next to a jug filled with water.

Saoda stepped down down the steps and hugged Jambe who was smiling looking at him.

"What's up, son?"

Saoda. He pulled the end of his Father's shirt making Jambe bow towards Saoda.

Saoda whispered as he occasionally stared at Tuo and poang Dodi who seemed busy washing his not-so-dirty feet.

"Would they go home?"

"Oh, you invited him to dinner at home and you also brought the eel caught by Father and Uncle Dodi," said Jambe who is now lifting a bucket towards Saoda.

Jambe turned his head to stare at Dodi and Tuo's puang.

"Let's pour us upstairs!" invite Jambe to make Dodi's puang nod.

...****************...

Saoda peeked out from the entrance which was the barrier between the kitchen and the living room. From here he could see his Father who now looks cool chatting with Puang Dodi. I don't know what they're talking about, but obviously they look very familiar.

Saoda glanced at Tuo who was now seen sitting while occasionally scratching his white-striped calf. Dry skin due to sunburn, yes the man seems to have almost charred.

The man deserves to have dry skin because he rarely wears clothes when outside the house.

Not long after, Saoda's eyes were rounded. He was surprised when Tuo stared at him making Saoda quickly close the curtains and run in.

"What's wrong?" tanya Sambe who seemed to be holding an iron tray containing three cups of tea and a plate of warm fried bananas.

"I don't like that boy. He seems evil" Saoda said.

Sambe smiling.

Saoda snorted. He stood still, again he opened the curtains staring at Indonya who now stepped out and put three cups on the table and a plate of fried bananas.

"Eat, yes, son!"

Saoda snorted in annoyance as his invisible Indo stroked Tuo's head. Looks like Indo is also affectionate towards that boy.

Saoda again sat staring at the conch which is now on a pink plastic plate. The fragrant fragrance made Saoda smile as if her irritation towards Tuo was now faded.

"Soda!"

Saoda turned to look at Indonya who was now seen sitting beside her.

"Indo, can Saoda eat?"

"Wait a minute, son! We'll have a night together."

"With that boy?" ask Saoda.

"Yes, of course."

"Why doesn't he eat in his house."

"Hust! Can't say that. Here, it's just dinner. Not always just once. Maybe today we can get together and we don't know if we can get together like this or not tomorrow" he explained, making Saoda now only silent.

...****************...

The sound of a scrape spoon clanking was heard while the dinner was going on. A plate of sauteed conch, fried eel into a side dish tonight.

"Eat a lot, son!" said Sambe who now put a spoonful of sauteed conch on a plate owned by Tuo who now looks smiling.

"Thank you."

Sambe nodded and resumed his meal. Saoda who had been chewing the rice in his mouth now slowly helped develop a smile on his lips.

It turns out that Saoda just realized that eating together like this is so very fun and makes the atmosphere more beautiful. It feels like something is different.

The sound of laughter was heard to make the atmosphere now become very warm while Jambe occasionally threw a joke to the Dodi puang who was now laughing.

Saoda smiled as his gaze centered on looking at Tuo who was now seen smiling as he occasionally stared at Dodi's puang.

From this Saoda could see if the little boy named Tuo was not too bad and he also looked happy.

Sometimes judging a person can not be seen from his physical form alone, but from how he behaves. Because one's behavior is influenced by one's own heart.

Happy, yes that is what Saoda feels today and it is true that if happiness is not expensive it is only people who make it difficult to get it.
