49. The Moon Night

The small footsteps can be seen following every footprints of his Father that imprint on the surface of the rice field rod which on the edge is overgrown with green grass.

The paddy field that Saoda originally thought would be dark as he had thought before but now there was no darkness that he saw. Saoda could see the rice field view clearly visible.

Saoda looked up at the night sky which was seen decorated by flickering stars scattered in the vast sky making Saoda smile.

The two lips of Saoda opened staring in awe at the beautiful scenery that managed to make him amazed by the beautiful scenery.

Bruaks

Jambe looked back in shock at his daughter who was seen slumped on the edge of the rice field with mud soiling the jacket up to her legs.

Jambe ran over to his daughter who laughed out loud with a patch of mud on her face.

Jambe knelt while helping Saoda rise from the rice field.

"What's wrong with you, son?"

"Hahaha, I fell."

"Fall because of what?"

"I saw a star in the sky that looked so beautiful" he answered honestly making Jambe now shake his head. There's this son saha.

"If the road looks ahead and do not look up to the sky. If you're not careful then you'll fall like this" explains Jambe, who is now helping Saoda rise from the ground.

"Look now your jacket is dirty, then what will your Indo say if you see you like this."

"Mother just calm down. I'll tell Indo that I fell because I saw a star. Indo will not be angry with me because Indo is very dear to me," he explained making Jambe now sigh long and then he smiled.

Two minutes later Saoda was picking up some keons on the fringes of the rice fields and some were in the growing grass.

The sound of crickets that sound melodious alternating unpretentious gives the impression of peace at night. The sound of rice frogs alternating sounds as if talking to a frog that is out of nowhere he is hiding.

Saoda occasionally ran around the area owned by his father who was not too wide was trying to find a frog that had sounded.

The sound of the frog disappearing makes Saoda now silent where he stands. Heading down with both eyes that were squinted until his little fingers now grabbed some snails that he had seen.

"Soda!!!"

The sound of Jambe's screams heard calling out to him made Saoda who was still ploughing the surface of the mud turn his head.

"Wait, Sir!!!"

"Soda, come here!!!"

"Wait!!!"

Saoda ran up to Jambe while holding the edge of his shirt which had housed the dozens of snails he had obtained.

"Father, I got a lot of snails" he said with a happy face.

Jambe propped up his waist staring at the dirty clothes full of mud that littered his daughter's clothes.

"You understand your clothes again, son?"

Saoda who heard that immediately smiled revealing his date teeth.

"I'm sorry."

Jambe laughed a little. How could he scold his little girl whom he loved so much.

"Pour it into the bucket!" his orders make Saoda now step closer to the bucket and spill the snail of his catch into the bucket that has been almost full.

"What are you looking for this many snails?"

Jambe turned to look at Saoda for a moment and then returned to focus on looking for the conch.

"Yes, why?"

"Why did you get this much snail?"

"Because you're used to looking for snails."

Saioda nodded.

"Mr, I want to go there. There are also many snails." Point it towards the rice field area owned by a neighbor not far from the house.

"Don't, Son! Just sit there and look at you here."

"But, sir-"

"Sit, Son! Aren't you scared?"

"Fearful? What's the fear for?"

The eyes of Saoda were rounded after hearing the name of the creature which is said to be his friends said the creature was an evil creature and liked to eat someone, well that's what Saoda heard. It's wrong or right that Saoda doesn't care.

"Is Parakang also in the fields?"

"Yes, of course. Parakang can come anywhere and whenever he wants."

Saoda gulped his salivary. He quickly sat on the edge of the rice field while occasionally looking at the surrounding that looked the same only felt a little terrible because of the name Parakang that had just been called by his Father.

Jambe turned his head and stared silently at the son who now chose silently while occasionally turning left and right.

"Are you scared?"

Saoda.

"I am not afraid of the linta that I have always seen and how I can be afraid of the figure of Parakang that I have never seen."

Jambe smiled proudly. He never thought that he would hear such an answer from his daughter.

Jambe stepped closer to Saoda and sat down beside him.

"Good, you must not fear anything but God. For it is God who created the earth and all that it contains."

Saoda looked up to arrange the night sky decorated by the beautiful stars and he was stunned to see the beautiful moon of the night that looks round luminous.

"Does God create the moon?"

"Everything, Son. Without exception."

Saoda nodded in understanding.

"Is the moon the same as the sun?"

"More or less the same and more or less different."

Saoda scratched his non-itchy head. He was confused by what his father had just said.

"You don't understand?"

Saoda nodded.

"Moon and sun are the same. Both were created by God but their functions and time are different."

"The sun will not be able to meet the moon and vice versa."

"The moon has a duty at night and the sun also has a duty in the morning until its sunset which is replaced by the moon."

"Such a change that will continue to occur until the end of a perfect life is now still a secret of God."

Jambe looked up at the beautiful moon night up there.

"Look, son!"

Saoda.

"Look at that beautiful moon, son. That is the proof of God's almighty power."

Saoda now turned to look at Jambe who looks still faithful looking at the moon up there.

"But, Sir. Does Parakang really exist?"

Jambe looked back at his daughter who now looked a little scared.

"Parakang?"

Saoda nodded.

"Is the creature called Parakang also created by God?"

"It was not God who created Parakang, but man himself who changed himself into Parakang."

"So that Paradakang really exists?"

Jambe.

"Are you scared?"

Saoda took a sip of his saliva and then shook his head.

"No, I'm not afraid."

"Good, Son. Don't be afraid of the creature because he'll be happy if there's fear of him."

"Have you ever seen Parakang?"
