"Who's the guy?"

Raina was silent and even breathed she did not do it. He was eager to hear what name would be the next and final prey for Saoda.

"His name is Erni, she's the granddaughter of the Shadow."

Raina was shocked after hearing that. He did not expect, if Saoda had made Erni his final victim.

Raina was now sitting with her face still not expecting if this was all really happening. Now what should he do now? Raina is also unlikely to let Saoda make Erni, her own best friend as Saoda's prey.

"when are you gonna eat it?"

"Tomorrow at night," she replied making Raina touch her chest with a face of shock.so soon?

The sound of the chicken being heard made Raina quickly get up and peek back into the house. From this small gap he could see that a black chicken was already in the hands of Puang Sampe.

Raina closed her eyes quickly after she saw Puang Sampe slicing the chicken jenger and dripping his blood onto the burning embers.

Puang Sampe then placed his palm on the coals of fire that he had shed black hairy chicken blood without feeling overheated then put his palm on Saoda's head and he did it up to three times while reciting the mantra.

"You should be able to kill your enemies if you want your granddaughter not to be a Paradakang."

"I know you love your granddaughter so much and that's why you want to act fast before you die."

"But it seems you need to be careful because it seems like your last target isn't easy."

"Did Erni have any science?" ask Saoda.

"He's just an ordinary kid, but it seems like someone doesn't want him dead let alone you killing him."

"Who?" asked Saoda who was so curious.

Raina is devastated again. Is it possible that Puang Sampe knows his heart?

"I don't know either," her answer made Raina breathe a sigh of relief.

"Come with me!" invite Puang Sampe who then rose from his seat and then stepped in followed by Saoda who also stepped out of Raina who is now silent next to the window.

Where's Saoda going?

Raina now sat down to the ground. He hugged his knees with his sad face. What should it be now. He couldn't possibly let Erni be the next target. Erni is his best friend from childhood and he cannot let Saoda do anything bad to Erni.

Raina has to do something, but what should she do?

Raina gasped in shock after hearing the sound of water touching the board made Raina turn her head to the side at the back of this old house.

What's up there?

Raina slowly got up and stepped on her feet slowly and carefully approached the back area of the house.

Raina turned to look at the lookout leaves that were inside the basin along with the smoky looking water. Is that maybe hot water? Bagamana can Saoda withstands that hot water.

Raina retreated her steps slowly to the back.

Raina closed her mouth loudly while her two rounded eyes were shocked after she accidentally stepped on a twig and her body hit a pile of firewood making Puang Sampe and Saoda immediately turn towards the source of the sound.

"Who is that?!!" puang Sampe's shout made Raina's eyes round.

Raina quickly retreated her steps. He looked left and right trying to find a hiding place, but nowhere. Raina who was still trying to find a hiding place turned to look at Puang Sampe who was seen stepping towards him.

Raina quickly sat down and hugged her knees right beside the pile of firewood while closing her eyes tightly.

From here he could hear the sound of Puang Sampe steps sounding close to him made his heart beat very fast even he could feel if his body trembled in fear.

Raina opened her eyes to find Puang Sampe who was now standing right in front of her while supporting her waist looking around her trying to find something that had disturbed her earlier.

It felt like Raina wanted to cry for fear of making her want to silence her mouth. He moved his hand slightly making him wide in shock as Puang Sampe turned his head towards him. Suddenly Raina's hand stopped with her breath also stopped.

His body had now become stiff like a statue that was now cooling down from fear. Raina was very afraid that Puang Sampe would see her here. If Pung Sampe sees it then I don't know what answer he will give to Saoda later.

Puang Sampe stepped back to her back, making Raina quickly pull her black medallion to cover her entire body until she was seen fusing with the darkness with the scarf.

Puang Sampe looked over. He stared at the firewood, making Raina gulp her saliva firmly. He could faintly see Puang Sampe staring at him from his black medley.

Did Puang Sampe see it? Well, that's what Raina thought when Puang Sampe turned to her.

Not long after Puang Sampe back behind him makes Raina can breathe a sigh of relief plus again when Puang Sampe stepped away from the side area of the house.

"There's nothing next to the house."

"Will you see it?"

"Yes, I've checked it, but there's nothing there."

The voice was clearly heard from Raina's sense of hearing. That meant right, if Puang Sampe did not see or even suspect his presence.

Raina got up from her seat slowly trying not to make the slightest sound. This time he could not make the mistake of producing a sound that almost caught him off guard.

Raina stepped her feet carefully then when she was far enough away from home, she immediately ran away from the wooden house with her sad feelings.

In the journey Raina's gaze was so very empty. He walked on empty without caring about the horrors of the forest he was passing through now. Now all he has in mind is how he can save Erni, his best friend from Saoda's attack.

Raina also does not understand exactly what makes Saoda reason to take Erni's life. What a mistake he had made until his name was also found in a row of names that are now not in the hands of Saoda in the form that has become the figure of Parakang.

I don't know what Erni will tell him if later Erni knows that her Grandmother's death was the act of Parakang and Parakang it is Saoda, Grandma of Raina.
