98. What If I'm a Parakang?

"Tuo! Where do you want to go?"

Saoda stepped closer to her husband who was now wearing his clothes. Tuo looked over for a moment.

"I want to help the villagers to capture Parakang" he replied.

"Parakangan? Why catch Parakang?"

"Because he's been harassing villagers. After all this is our village too, if there is Parakang in this village then this village of ours will not be safe and will be disturbed by the shadow of Parakang."

Saoda sighed.

"I'm coming," he said, making Tuo, who was closing the window of the room, look at him with a surprised look.

"What's? You want to come?"

"Yes, I want to come with you."

Tuo sighed. He approached his wife and touched her shoulders.

"Soda, you're here. I'll just be a minute."

"But-"

"Hust! I beg! For tonight please listen and follow me."

"The parachute is a dangerous creature and could threaten a person's life. Please listen to me follow my request!"

Saoda let out a long breath. She turned the other way trying to tell Tuo if she didn't like her husband's decision.

Tuo said nothing to make Tuo turn and step away from the room with Saoda now throwing his body into the bed.

"Does this mean that Tuo hates Parakang so much?"

"Then what about me who has the intention to become Parakang?"

"Will Tuo be angry or even support me?"

Saoda snorted in annoyance. He rubbed his dizzy head.

Saoda got up and walked to the window. He peeked in the window. Saoda was unwilling if Tuo saw her open the window.

Actually Saoda was also curious about the shape and form of the Parakang. Is that creature creepy?

Saoda laid her body on the bed. Both pairs of eyes were now staring at the surface of the room wall. I was afraid of being in my own home. Susana and desolation made Saoda feel afraid.

The voice of the crickets out there seemed to dominate in this quiet night. This time there was no one but him in the house.

Deck!!!

Saoda's heart suddenly tight accompanied by his body that felt cold. I think he is very scared of this kind of situation.

Saoda gulped his saliva with trembling lips. I don't know why he would be scared like this.

Saoda's eyes rounded in surprise after he heard the sound of a board that sounded as if someone was walking but, his steps sounded so slow.

Saoda's body shook violently. The sound of the move frightened Saoda. Who is it and why is there anyone who steps while there is nothing inside this house.

At once Saoda felt his body behind him feeling cold and radiating to his feet. Saoda moved her fingers and held on to the surface of the pillow that had its head cooling down from being too scared.

What might be the sound of the step is the sound of the step resulting from the sound of the step of the creature named Parakang.

Saoda licked his tongue that felt dry. What should he do if Parakang is really in his house then who will help him while in this house there is no one.

Saoda was really very scared right now. Saoda moved his body slowly making the bed wood squeak painfully making Saoda's breath stifled.

Saoda tries to muster up all his courage to see if anyone is behind him or not.

Saoda turned his head to surprise him with both perfectly rounded eyes.

"Yeah!!!" saoda's screams rose straight from the bed.

Not long after the sound of laughter was heard making the fast-breathing Saoda while stroking his thumping chest after seeing the face of Tuo who was so very close to both eyes of Saoda.

"Tuo!" angered Saoda who quickly got up from the bed and hit Tuo's body which was still also laughing.

"You're evil!"

"Evil? Who's the bad guy?"

Tuo smiled. He walked up to Saoda and knelt before Saoda.

"I? Am I evil?"

"Of course you're evil. I almost cried in surprise."

"Why are you surprised? Hem?"

Saoda glanced at her husband and hit him.

"I thought you were a dud. I'm scared because you just left me alone in this house."

"You think I'm not afraid, if I'm alone in this house? I'm scared, I'm so scared."

"What if there's a Parakang coming to this house and bothering me here? Aren't you worried about me?" oceh Saoda while hitting the body of Tuo who just smiled without resisting the blow from her husband.

"Alright, alright. I'm sorry my wife. I'm sorry. From today on I won't leave you and I'll keep hugging you like this."

Saoda gave a small laugh as Tuo laid his body onto the mattress and hugged her lovingly. Saoda stared at her husband's face after giving a friendly kiss to his forehead.

"What's wrong?"

"No."

"Then? What makes you shut up like this?"

"Has the Paraknya been caught?" saoda asked with his tone trying to be widened.

"Not to talk about it!"

Saoda frowned as Tuo tightened his embrace while closing both eyes.

"What's wrong? Was Parakang burned as the villagers did to Indo and my Father?"

"No."

"Then?"

"The parcel was not found."

"Why? Why wasn't Parakang found?"

"He ran away into the middle of the forest. The villagers were tired and lost track. Inside the forest it was so very dark that even the light relief from the fire in the torch had no effect."

"The forest?"

Tuo nodded with both of his eyes still closed.

"You can think first. If you want to be a retard then come to my house in the middle of the wilderness."

"If you have found the wilderness, find the largest tree and call me by name three times, you will find your way to my house."

Instantly Puang Banga's speech was remembered. What that forest means is a wilderness.

"Is the forest a wilderness next to a neighboring village?"

"Yes, but why do you know about the forest? Have you been there?"

"A-a-I've heard some citizens in the market."

Tuo nodded.

"Well, it looks like the forest is very dangerous. I beg you not to go there, yes!"

Instantly Saoda was taken aback after hearing Tuo's utterance.

"Are there really alas in that forest that's dangerous?"

"I don't believe it either, but the villagers said there was one of the shamans who ran away and lived in the forest even though no one had ever seen his house."

Saoda gulped his salivary. What Tuo discussed was clearly Puang Banga. Saoda looked back at her husband.

"Tuo!"

"Emm?"

"What if I'm Parakang?"
