10. Fear

Once in London, their arrival was already picked up by confidant Gerard Smith. Exotic skinned woman who is very beautiful, her name is Amanda.

"Gerard is still the same, female player," chirped Arthur who can only be heard by Jane and Brianna. While Amanda had walked in front of them to direct the road that must be passed to enter the resort owned by her superiors.

"Arthur ..." Jane reprimands her son and Arthur just slicks his shoulder without feeling anything wrong with what he said earlier.

"Amanda is his worker, it does not mean he becomes one of Mr.'s lovers. Smith," Jane replied.

"Who knows, Mom." Arthur smiled at his smile. "A woman like that is impossible to miss by Gerard," he continued to sniff his chin towards Amanda there.

"Already, Arthur. We're here to discuss business, not Gerard's private life."

"yeah. All right, then don't talk about my privacy in front of him, either" Arthur told Jane. He said that because Jane always talked about it with Gerard. Of course about him who was never seen to have a lover.

"This is a special VIP area. 3 special rooms for you, Madam," explained Amanda.

All three rooms will be occupied by Arthur, Brianna and Jane, of course.

"All right, excuse me, ma'am. Meeting with Mr. Smith will be taking place tomorrow morning. Have a good rest."

Amanda smiles at Jane, then does the same thing to Arthur, but his smile seems to tease the man. Arthur smiles, but just as Amanda-she rolls her eyes.

"I'm taking a break, Mom." Arthur wandered into the corner room.

Brianna shifts the body after she also gets an access card into her own room. But of course she won't leave Jane alone, she'll be in after Jane enters the room first.

"Alright, Bri. We'll meet tomorrow. Have a good rest."

"Yes, Mrs."

Brianna threw her body on the king size bed as soon as she entered her room there. It feels very tired but want anyway this is a job risk.

Actually Brianna was happy because she could travel like this, but because there was Arthur the feeling of pleasure vanished without a trace.

Brianna picks up her cell phone, and she calls Flo and Chico to tell them she's in London.

"Hi, Honey. Have you eaten yet?" Brianna makes a video call to Flo's number but the call instantly reveals Chico's cute face.

"Already, Momma." Chico looked excited. Yesterday he was out of the hospital. And that's what made Brianna relieved when she left him for London.

"Good boys! Have you been taking the medicine?"

Chico shook his head while covering his mouth with his hands, as if it was a signal that he would not take any more medicine.

"You have to take the cure, champ."

"No, Mom. That's not good." Chico replied with a slurred voice.

Brianna top glimpses. "Mom will buy you a present if by the time Momma gets home, the cure is up."

"really?"

"yeah. What do you want? Toy planes, mock excavators or ... Avengers figures?"

"That's great. Momma's gonna buy it but you have to take the cure. Okay?"

"Okey, Mom."

"Now, give me Flo's phone. Mom wants to talk to him."

In an instant, the phone pointed at Flo's face, allowing Brianna to look at her sister-in-law in the video call.

"Yes, Bri?"

"I'm taking Chico, please take care of him and try to get him to take his medicine, Flo."

"Yeah, you've said it over and over again, Bri."

"I'm sorry I'm troubling you."

"Gosh, he's my son, too. We will have a good quality time together and I like this a lot. Don't feel troublesome."

Brianna took a slow breath. "Thank you, you're so good to me and Chico."

"I love you guys" Flo replied.

They were silent for a moment, seeming equally hesitant to express their thoughts.

"Did he come with you?" Finally Flo who first open the sound. The one Flo meant here was Arthur. Flo has heard from Zach that Brianna is working for Arthur's mother.

"Well." yeah." Brianna massaged her temple.

"Be careful, Bri. I'm afraid he's working on you again, however you're his subordinate now even if you don't work with him directly."

"I'm not afraid she's pranking me anymore, Flo. What I'm most afraid of is ..." Brianna could not continue the sentence.

However, Flo seems to know what makes Brianna afraid.

"Well, I'm afraid of that too" Flo said in response to Brianna's heart, which she did not speak. Of course Flo knew Brianna was afraid Arthur would find out about Chico.

"What if he knows?" murmured Brianna.

"Me and Zach will do everything we can to protect Chico. But, you know best that he is his father. If he suddenly finds out, then he's taking Chico, Zach and I can't do anything, Bri. Moreover, he has power."

Brianna is long. His head is getting painful. Life brings him back to meet the man he most avoided. If you can, Brianna will quit this job as soon as possible. But it's not all that easy. He is bound by a contract that if he breaks the working relationship between the parties prematurely, then he will be exposed to a huge penalty fee.

"No ..." Brianna shook her head strongly. "He's not gonna know about Chico and if he does, he's never gonna care. Chico was out of his will."

"Yes, I hung up. Chico's taking medicine now."

Brianna smiled gently. "Okay, bye." Then the phone was cut off.

"Accio ..." Brianna muttered the name of the son she gave birth to. Her life isn't easy after she finds out she's pregnant from a one-night stand with Arthur.

Of course Brianna did not want to take responsibility for Arthur at that time.
