FOREVER HATE YOU'S

FOREVER HATE YOU'S
9. She coming?

Brianna's at the Airport. He is waiting for Jane and Arthur to arrive as they will fly to London within the next 1 hour.

"Let me help, madam." Brianna is about to take over Jane's suitcase but the woman gets in her way.

"No need, Bri," she refused subtly. "Uhm, hasn't Arthur arrived yet?" tanyanya.

Brianna shook her head, thinking Jane would come with Arthur to the airport.

"Ah, where is he?" Jane saw the watch on her wrist. He was afraid Arthur forgot their schedule today, or deliberately forgot it because Arthur had previously refused to come to London.

Jane looked at her phone, until she said quietly to Brianna.

"Uhm, Bri, can you call Arthur on your phone? My phone's running out of battery."

Brianna blinked her eyes for a moment, until she finally found out that she could not refuse Jane's request.

"Y-yeah, Mrs."

Inevitably Brianna pressed the numbers mentioned Jane above her cellphone keyword.

"Hallo?" Arthur's voice was crossed over there when Brianna called his number.

"Ha-hallo .." replied Brianna, she looked at Jane as if asking that the woman speak to the son but Jane hinted that Brianna should speak.

"Who is this?"

"Uhm, where are you, sir? I'm .. I'm Mrs secretary. Jane." Brianna didn't want to mention her name to Arthur. But he knew that Arthur would have known it was him. "We've been waiting at the airport" he continued.

"Ahhh, yes, I've been on the road. You coming?"

Brianna didn't answer the question Arthur asked. He knew the man must have just found out if he was going on a business trip this time. But what does it matter?

"I'm almost there. Tell Mom I didn't forget today's departure."

"Good."

Brianna hung up on her phone, then looked at Jane.

"Mrs. Mattews said he was already on the road and almost arrived at the airport. Let's wait a minute, ma'am."

Jane nodded in understanding. He took Brianna to sit by his side.

"Brianna, may I ask you something outside of work?"

Brianna gasped a little at Jane's speech but finally she nodded her head in a sign of no objection.

"Your sister is married and has children. Aren't you interested in getting married too?"

Brianna blinked her eyes agitatedly. He was confused as to what to answer. He never thought about it, because for him his life was more than complete. He has Zach, Flo and Chico. Brianna thinks she doesn't need a man as her companion, but she doesn't rule out the possibility that she will one day decide to get married with various considerations.

"I'm sorry if I ask you a question like this. I just want to share as a fellow woman and as a mother who's worried about her child."

Jane found out about Brianna's sister who was married because of her meeting with Zach at the Hospital the other day, let alone Zach saying if the sick one was her son. That means Zach was married first while Brianna was not.

"No problem, Mrs." Brianna was trying to act appropriately, even though she was nervous about this discussion. "But what's the madam worried about your son, ma'am?" tanyakanya.

"Arthur has no interest in marriage. I think she thinks that marriage will always end badly, just like her parents decided to divorce."

Brianna thought the context of their conversation was too personal. She was afraid to make comments that would offend Jane as Arthur's mother.

"Maybe that's why I don't want to get married. Or maybe he has something else he doesn't want to make excuses for" Brianna said.

"Another thing? For example?"

"I've never even heard of or seen Arthur having a lover" Jane and Brianna were quite surprised by this.

"really?" It's hard to believe, Brianna thought. How could an Arthur Mattews never have a lover?

"Yes. That's why I'm worried. I think my worry is natural, right?"

Brianna nodded. But to say Arthur is not normal he can't, especially if something happened between him and Arthur in the past. So what's the reason Arthur didn't want to get married? Is it just because of her parents? I don't know, only that guy knows the answer.

...***...

"He's coming?" Arthur smiled at his smile. If it was yesterday and even just before Brianna called her earlier, she had no interest at all in her trip this time, but now everything has changed. He was excited just because Brianna was going to London.

"Look, Bri. I'm gonna start my action to get you back." Arthur had thought of many things to bring out the one on his head. I can't wait to get back to Brianna.

Arthur looked again at his cell phone, a number that had contacted him.

"Is this his personal number?"

The man returned with his sly smile. She kept the number with the nickname 'Nerd Girl' then she chuckled.

Arthur hasn't been this excited since he entered the world of work.

"It looks like going this time will be a lot of fun."

Arthur asks the driver who drove him to the airport to bring the car faster. After a while, he actually arrived at the airport.

From quite a distance, Arthur had seen Brianna and her mother talking to each other quite seriously. He doesn't know what they're talking about but can he be confident that the two women are talking about him now?

"Mom ..."

Jane looked over and saw Arthur coming.

"Oh, thank goodness you've arrived. Come on, we gotta check in right away."

"Okay, Mom." Arthur replied as he glanced at Brianna who seemed uncomfortable with his arrival. He grinned and Brianna snarled at him instantly.

"Bring me my suitcase" said Arthur, who left Brianna with his medium-sized suitcase.

Brianna swore in her heart, she cursed Arthur and grumbled. But, inevitably he was also gnawing on the suitcase.

Arthur pretended to tidy up his clothes and pulled one corner of his lips.

"It's nothing, you'll feel worse when we get to London" the man said.

Brianna follows Jane and Arthur behind their bodies. She's Jane's secretary, but Arthur's the one who's ruling her, and Jane's even pulled her own suitcase. Arthur really sucks, that's what Brianna's head is.

"Arthur, once we get to London, we'll stay at Mr.'s resort. Smith."

"Ah, I don't want to, Mom."

"Why?" jane asked, while Brianna just kept quiet.

"I don't want Gerard to be so inferior because there's me." Arthur chuckled at a glance.

Jane chuckles, she knows Arthur is joking. While Brianna silently rolled her eyes at the hearing of Arthur's unchanging confidence. The man is still the same.

"Why does he always feel the most handsome in the world?" brianna's in my heart. The woman was also upset that she could not blatantly curse Arthur right now, even though she was fed up of seeing the man she hated. Why should his life always be under the control of that man?
