45. Give me a chance

The next morning, Brianna wakes up next to Arthur again. He was afraid of getting used to the figure. As a result, he rethinks how this relationship will be in the future? Is it true that he will open his heart to this man?

Brianna asked herself what her next plan was, especially with Arthur.

"Should I give you a chance?" brianna looked at Arthur who was still sleeping by her side.

"Honestly, I'm scared and not ready for a broken heart. I always avoid relationships that involve my heart, so forgive me for not being able to take you for granted."

Brianna knew that the more she was with Arthur, the more intense their daily life was, the greater the likelihood of having more feelings for him.

"Did you forget I was sick?" arthur said back to asking.

Brianna shakes. "I remember. You want some breakfast? Let me order room service for you so you don't eat late" he said.

Instead of answering Brianna's question, Arthur turned their conversation to another word.

"Where are you going today? How about we just go for a walk?"

Brianna looked at Arthur in disbelief. "Don't you tell me you're sick and don't take care of work for that reason? Then why now just take me for a walk?"

"Yes, maybe that way my disease will be cured. My treatment to recover is not just to stay in the room, or stay in bed, I need entertainment and maybe with a walk I can recover as soon as possible."

"Uhm, yeah ..." Brianna nodded her head. "Alright then," he said resignedly.

"Yes, let's get ready. Take a shower, have breakfast, and then we'll travel around Milan. You want?" Arthur looked excited. Brianna is like finding a different figure from an Arthur Mattews.

"Okay. I'm taking a shower now" Brianna said.

Arthur was glad Brianna didn't protest, along with the woman who disappeared behind the bathroom door, she let out a smile as she reached for the tablephone to contact the room service who could deliver breakfast for the two of them.

When Brianna dried her hair, Arthur was done with his bath.

"Let's help, so we can finish sooner."

Arthur blatantly notices Brianna and shows her care without covering up that attitude.

"I can do it myself" replied Brianna who was still shutting herself down. He couldn't just take Arthur's kindness for granted, it still felt awkward to him.

Arthur takes the hairdryer out of Brianna's hand, leaving the woman speechless. Arthur slowly stroked Brianna's hair and pointed the hairdryer at each of its parts.

Brianna seemed stunned for a while, she had a hard time resisting Arthur's attitude again this time until finally she resigned when again the man acted sweetly to her.

"Give me a chance, if you continue to fortify yourself how I can enter your heart, Bri .." whispered Arthur behind Brianna, making the woman's body rebuke because of it.

Finished with the activity, Arthur proceeded to comb Brianna's hair and once again Brianna was unable to resist.

Arthur knew it was clear that the bulkhead Brianna had installed was still attached between them. For this reason he will try to knock it down, if necessary jump it to get through the wall.

"Whatever height you build a barrier for both of us, then that's how high I try to break through it, if necessary I'll use a plane to cross the border you made," arthur's claws in front of Brianna's face immediately met.

Arthur takes Brianna to breakfast, then enjoys the meal together.

"You heard the doctor say last night, didn't you?"

Brianna nodded. "Then?" tanyakanya.

"From now on can you pay attention to my diet? Remind me to eat on time?" Arthur used this excuse to keep Brianna from asking him.

Brianna received a phone call from Flo moments later.

When he reached for his cell phone, it was not Flo but Zach.

"What's up, Flo?"

"I heard that Arthur received a call yesterday from Chico."

Brianna knows Zach is worried about this.

"Uhm, yeah. I'm on the toilet" Brianna replied honestly.

"You're not in a relationship that's more than your boss and subordinates, are you?" guess Zach's right there.

"What the fuck. Of course not."

"Thank God. Look, Bri .. I know whatever you're doing is none of my business. But you have to remember, whatever concerns Chico, I will interfere because he is also my son" Zach said.

Brianna. He doesn't know what to say. Not to mention her impromptu marriage to Arthur. How did he tell his sister about it?

"Uhm, Zach .. I have a job," Brianna said.

"Zor." Brianna answered. His eyes looked teary, clearly he was at a loss as to how now. Zach is right whatever his affair with Arthur is his personal matter, but regarding Chico, it is clear Zach will interfere because his sister has been taking care of Chico since Chico was in the womb. In another sense, Zach who played the role of replacing the alert figure for all the wishes of Brianna who was still pregnant until giving birth, even today.

"Did he say something?" guess Arthur saw from the water Brianna's face that looked sad.

"He'll be mad, Arthur. I was confused to explain to her where she was from. Especially our relationship."

"Don't think about it too much, let me explain to Zach."

Brianna panicked. "No." he shook his head. "Zach's gonna beat you up."

"I will accept it" replied Arthur gentle and airy chest. "I really deserve all his anger, even since the first he should have hit me" he resigned.

"Don't, Arthur. Don't say anything to Zach, at least until I'm ready to admit everything."

"Then open your heart to me. I'm sure if you love me, Zach will let me go."

Brianna laughed blandly but with the same face as before. "really? That's impossible."

"Yes, he must be thinking about your happiness too. If you love me, she'll have no choice but to let you be with the man you love."

Brianna looked at old Arthur. He was confused as to how it should be now. One side he was afraid of dropping hearts on the man. He has not been able to trust Arthur completely . What if all this was just Arthur's wits to get back to work on him?

But on the other hand, Brianna also thought of Arthur's plausible advice. Zach can't get in the way if Arthur is Brianna's man of choice.
