13. Of jealousy?

Gerard and Brianna return to the table where Arthur is. They're done dancing. There, Arthur is not alone, and Brianna can recognize who the man who was accompanying Arthur on his desk. Harrys.

Harry seemed to greet Gerard, but he did not seem to recognize Brianna at all. Maybe because Brianna's appearance now looks 180° different from the previous Brianna.

The three men seemed to be having a conversation that was out of nowhere. Brianna doesn't want to mix it up.

"Do you want me to get you some food?" ask Gerard to Brianna. Of course Brianna was hesitant, a higher-up like Gerard offered to get him food.

Brianna nodded slowly. "I can do it myself, sir," he replied.

"You know, you can just call my name if it's out of work" Gerard said later.

Brianna laughed softly. "No need, sir," he said politely.

Brianna retreats to pick up her food at the buffet, but apparently Arthur follows her.

"Stop looking for Gerard's attention" whispered the man to Brianna's surprise.

"I never looked for her."

"That's you think. But I see you're very good at approaching him."

Brianna rolled her eyes puffed. "Then don't look at it!" hard hatch.

Arthur laughed softly. He follows Brianna who takes food at the buffet. Then he also came back to the table with the woman as if they did look familiar.

Brianna is upset by herself, seeing Arthur's behavior as if deliberately making them seem close. What does this man really want?

"I thought I'd known you, Miss. But I forgot where," Harry's apron made Brianna turn entirely to the man.

It made an arc of smiles on the lips of Gerard and Arthur who heard it. The two men dissolved in their respective thoughts. Gerard thinks Harry's remarks are just a method to get close to Brianna. As for Arthur, of course he did not deny it because Harry should have known Brianna earlier.

"You do know him" Arthur responded to Harry.

Brianna looked down, she actually did not want anyone to remember her figure in the past, because she herself did not want to remember it. He used to be smart in terms of lessons, but he was always stupid in terms of everyday life. Brianna realizes it now and she hates it when people find out about her bad past.

"Oh yeah? I thought you were just going to get close to Ms. Walton," said Gerard, who also responded to Harry's words.

The three men chuckled, but it was not the same as Brianna who was suddenly nervous if they discussed her past.

"She's Brianna, Harry. You remember our party at Villa Leon?" arthur said to remind his old friend, just touch Harry's eyes fester when he heard it, he looked at Arthur with a look of disbelief.

While Brianna who heard Arthur's sentence, suddenly stood up from his position. He's not happy Arthur reminds him of past events. What Arthur emphasizes here is what happened at Leon's Villa.

"I'll excuse you to go to the toilet first" Brianna said. If there were no Gerard, maybe he would just leave without saying goodbye, ignoring the words of Arthur and Harry who returned to discuss the past.

"Do you want me to be with you?" ask Gerard who always offers himself.

Brianna nodded firmly. "No, I can do it myself" he said. Then he actually left their table.

Brianna entered the toilet room while holding back the rumble in her chest. Why would Arthur say that as if to remind Brianna of what had happened between them?

Brianna held her patience deeply. It was up to Arthur to do what was clear he had to stay strong when he was near the man, however Brianna must survive because he still needs this job and again he does not want to realize the words of Arthur who wants to make him resign.

Brianna chooses to call Chico for a moment, perhaps her son's voice can calm her down but the phone is only connected to Flo who says Chico is asleep. Well, it's only natural. It was quite late, Brianna thought.

Brianna came out of the toilet area after making sure it was okay to return to face Arthur who may have told a lot about his stupidity first to Gerard there. Whatever.

But Brianna quickly realized that someone was waiting for her in the toilet corridor.

"Better you go home, I'll take you."

"What basis do you manage my life?" Brianna looked at Arthur fiercely.

"Don't even wish that Gerard was serious with you. She's a female player."

Brianna smiled obliquely. "What do you care? Aren't you the same as the breng sek?" menohok.

"Whatever you say. But I suggest you go home instead of coming back to that table again." Arthur passed from Brianna's presence just like that.

Brianna was about to rejoin her desk, she ignored Arthur's message. He doesn't have to assume that man exists.

"Sorry, Sir. Excuse me for going back to the resort" Brianna told Gerard.

Brianna had opened her mouth to refuse but Gerard seemed to know if the woman would reject him.

"Don't turn me down again, Ms. Walton."

Brianna glanced at Arthur at a glance and the man looked bellowed. Brianna finally agreed to Gerard's invitation to deliver it.

Arthur comes out of the restaurant area moments after Gerard and Brianna pass. Harry followed.

Arthur sees how Gerard opens the car door for Brianna and the woman gets into it.

"You know, he'd never know your jealousy if you never said it" Harry said, making Arthur laugh.

"Jealousy said? What should I be jealous of him for?" kilah Arthur's.

"Eitherway. You must remember my two words today. The first one is .. From now on you have to think about marriage, and the second one, you have to tell Brianna how you feel."

"What the ... What did you say? Feelings?" Arthur.

"Maybe you can fool the world, Arthur. But you can't fool me. I'm also sure Gerard Smith can read your magic and get ready to compete with him" said Harry, who patted Arthur on the shoulder later.

Arthur immediately left his position now. He returns to the resort in hopes of finding Brianna who has arrived there. But alas, it looks like Brianna did not come back right away.

"Where are they?" hiss Arthur who then cobbled himself.

Brianna was not immediately delivered Gerard back to the Resort because the man took her around the city of London for a while.

"Have you been to London before?" gerard asked Brianna who was sitting next to him in a two-cabin car.

Brianna shook her head gently. "Yet. This is my first time" he replied.

"Will I take you around for a minute? See the night view of London?"

"But, Mr ..."

"Gerard, my name is Gerard, can you just call me by that name?"

Brianna nodded. Gerard is increasingly interested in this woman. She looked shy and unlike most women that Gerard had approached. Most of them are aggressive. And Gerard is tired of that type of woman.

Gerard saw the other side of Brianna. He looks elegant and unpretentious. It also looks polite and classy at the same time. Brianna's cleverness is like radiating on his face, without the need to communicate further Gerard knows that Brianna is a smart woman.

"Can we discuss anything outside of work?" ask Gerard then.

"What do you want to ask?" Brianna stared back at Gerard, making the man happy about this. There is progress, he thought. Because Brianna was reluctant to look at him before.

"Have you known Arthur long enough?"

Brianna thinning lips. "Can't you talk about someone else? What if I ask about you?" he made a smile on Gerard's lips to inflate perfectly.

"yeah. What do you want to ask me about? I'll answer it."

"Did you always be sweet like this to all women?"

A question Brianna asked was quite surprising to Arthur. He didn't expect Brianna to be that brave asking him this, but he appreciated Brianna's question and would answer it.

"Do you think I've been sweet to you? I think I'm only doing that to people who interest me, not just to women but to most people who are able to take my attention" he replied.

Brianna smiled gently. "So you think I've taken your license?" the question again surprised Gerard.

"Well, since the first time I saw you," admitted Gerard in the end.

Brianna threw a glance at the street from the glass of Gerard's car.

"Why?" Gerard doesn't like Brianna who is silent. He wanted the woman to keep talking while looking at him.

"none. I just want to see the sights of London at night." Brianna is obviously avoiding.

Brianna did not want to extend the topic because she suddenly remembered Arthur's warning that Gerard was a female player. At least Brianna can make a whip to resuscitate him every Gerard pretend to seduce him. Brianna did not want to soar with all Gerard's words, so let him realize the situation as soon as possible so as not to be inedible seduction of the man.
