Brianna was cooking in the clean kitchen at Arthur's house. Moments ago, when Brianna said no to come home to New York, Arthur also said that he was off. Finally, the man asks Brianna to cook dinner for him.
Actually Brianna wanted to refuse, especially at the house there was a waiter who used to cook food for Arthur, but he finally complied because Brianna was too tired to argue with the man.
Brianna took the smoked meat out of the refrigerator, then cut the peppers and chopped the onions. But when doing that with a cocky feeling, accidentally a little part of his finger was actually hit by a knife slice.
"Acc ..." Brianna grimaced, then looked at her bloodied finger. Brianna was about to sweep her own blood with the reflexes she used to do if her finger was injured - but it turned out that her actions stopped when a hand deliberately stopped her actions.
Brianna was stunned for a while when she saw Arthur, who was now grabbing his fingers, then pointing it at the water faucet he opened in the kitchen sink.
No words came out of their mouths with each other, Brianna was silent as if receiving the treatment of the man who washed his finger that was bleeding.
"Next time, do not wipe the injured ssat finger because it will make the wound infected with germs. You just need to wash it with warm water for a while, then treat it."
Brianna did not budge, she spontaneously pulled her fingers from Arthur's handrails.
"Let's treat it."
"No." Brianna cut ketus.
"Leave your cooking first, later it can be reconnected," said Arthur reassured.
Brianna stomps her feet towards the vestibule, followed by Arthur following in her footsteps.
"I do it because I'm lazy to argue with you" said Brianna, who asked Arthur to extend his hand to the man who had opened the medicine box.
"Yes." Yeah." Arthur nodded.
Brianna squinted at the response from the man. Arthur is not usually like this. That is, usually Arthur will say it with a loud speech or ridicule it. It's nothing, if Arthur is in good fashion like now, it makes Brianna feel suspicious and more alert to him.
Brianna again grimaced when Arthur smeared his wound with some kind of topical medicine.
"So soon, it's a little more done, just put the plaster on," said Arthur softly while blowing Brianna's finger that had been injured.
Once again Brianna was stunned, she saw the other side of an Arthur Mattews. But instead of being treated like that, Brianna just feels weird.
"Thank you." Brianna spoke after his finger was completely finished handling Arthur, and a plaster appeared to have been attached to his finger. "Be annoying as always, because if you keep going like this, it's like you're not, '" he continued, standing up.
Arthur chuckles at a glance, but he doesn't reply to Brianna's words. He knew he had missed a lot about the woman, including the matter of her flesh and blood Brianna might have defended with difficulty.
"From now on, I promise I won't hurt you again" Arthur murmured. He realized that all the behaviors and attitudes he had given Brianna had gone too far. "... even though it's always nice to work with you, but I have to start learning not to do that again, Bri," he continued looking at Brianna who was not seen at the end of the corridor to the kitchen.
After a while of waiting, Arthur was asked to enjoy the food that Brianna cooked. It turned out that the woman had finished doing the activity, although it had happened a little accident.
"Well, it looks good." Arthur's eyes sparkled to see the food served in front of him, especially it was the food that Brianna made especially for him. Actually not really, he forced the woman to cook for him.
Arthur's feeling suddenly warmed up, he wanted this kind of thing to happen every day. What can?
"You didn't eat?" arthur asked when he saw Brianna leaving the room.
"Yourselves?" There was a sneaky smile Brianna showed as she said that.
"Yes, here with me."
"I don't understand what you want. Asking me to cook for you and taking me to eat with you."
"Is that wrong?" asked Arthur to look at Brianna.
"of course. Aren't you afraid I'm poisoning you? I have a very big grudge against you" Brianna admitted frankly.
Brianna shook her head faintly, then felt uncomfortable with Arthur's different gaze.
"You don't eat?"
Brianna shook her hand as she continued to walk away from Arthur's position.
...***...
"Is he going crazy? Why is she looking at me differently now?" murmured Brianna while hugging the pillow in the room she was in now.
"So, he's been crazy since then, right?"
Brianna snorts, she is afraid that Arthur's good demeanor towards her is just camouflage that in the end there is a hidden plan that Arthur makes to destroy her.
Last night, Brianna could not sleep well, even though the room facilities he occupied were very comfortable. Brianna just rolled around here and there without sleeping.
Right at 1 in the morning, Brianna's phone shook. He snorted to see if it was a call from Arthur.
Sure enough, he'll prank me, inner Brianna.
Isn't this silly thing Brianna thought of? Arthur would call him and ask for his help at out of reason hours.
"Why?" Brianna finally received the call. He replied in a voice as loud as usual.
"Get me some coffee."
"God. You don't know what time it is!"
"Do it or you'll regret it."
"All right." Brianna took a deep breath, she did not know what the threat of Arthur this time, which clearly she really died of lice because even though her belongings had been returned by the man, but Brianna's passport is still being held by Arthur.
Brianna heads to the kitchen and makes coffee for Arthur, as she is upset she intends to prank Arthur.
"It." Brianna handed the coffee cup to the man who had just opened the door in front of her.
"Thanks" replied Arthur. He took his coffee.
"Already, right? I can continue my sleep now" Brianna said later.
Arthur nodded, he was already determined not to hurt Brianna again, right? But he still wanted to prank Brianna once in a while just to hear her scathing words alone.
Brianna immediately frowned as soon as she saw the nod from Arthur. He chuckled as he entered his room.
"Feel that!" brianna's mind is happy not playing.
While there, Arthur catches up to the door of the room after seeing Brianna completely pass from before him. He sipped coffee and ...
Byur !!!!
"Sia lan!" Arthur swore, the coffee was salty. Brianna must have been cracking it on purpose.
Instead of being angry, Arthur chuckled.
"Well, you started this war." Arthur grinned. "I won't let it be an empty one, Baby. I'll raise the score" he said, wiping the tip of his own lips.
...To be continue ......
