43. Caring
Brianna came in a hurry. He came and saw Arthur there.
"Arthur!"
Arthur turned to the woman and smiled a smile while still enduring the pain.
"You coming?"
"of course. You're sick! Let's get the hell out of here and get some medication, right away" Brianna said in a panic.
Arthur nodded obediently, he tried to get up but his stomach felt even more pain due to the movement.
Brianna, who saw that Arthur could not stand up well, was immediately alert to help the man, he grabbed Arthur by the waist while putting the man's hand along his shoulder. Brianna helped get Arthur to stand up.
Arthur even more curled a smile.
"Why?" asked Brianna not understand the man's behavior, he took Arthur to walk up to the taxi he had used to get to this place.
"I'm glad you care about me" replied Arthur honestly.
Brianna thinning lips. "I don't care about you, I only care about myself, because if you're sick, you're bound to trouble me more than this" he said flatly.
Arthur smelled a smile. "Whatever you say, obviously I still think this is a form of your concern for me" he said.
Brianna opens the taxi door with difficulty, then helps Arthur in so that he can sit comfortably there.
Once again Arthur meringiss felt the pain of his stomach because of the movement.
"Cruv!""
Brianna looked at Arthur with a worried look. "What hurts so much?" tanyakanya.
"Yeah, but I can still hold it," Arthur replied in a soft voice.
Brianna shook her head faintly because she could not believe the man's speech, Arthur's face was already pale.
In quick motion, Brianna took a seat next to Arthur in the taxi they were riding in.
"Road, Sir. Please take us to the nearest hospital."
Arthur looked at Brianna in wonder. "Why go to the Hospital? We'll treat it at the hotel. Maybe I'm just tired" he replied.
"Don't protest, Arthur. You don't look all right, so don't underestimate the disease you're feeling right now."
Arthur finally closed his mouth, he secretly took advantage of the situation by grasping Brianna's hand tightly. Brianna let it go, she felt that Arthur was doing it because he was holding back the pain.
Because Brianna did not forbid it, Arthur even more daring to lean his head on Brianna's shoulder, he also took Brianna's other hand to be stroked into his sick stomach.
"Don't take a chance, Arthur!" Brianna.
Arthur doesn't budge, he's still doing what he wants to do. Brianna just let out a long sigh, she had to be patient, feeling Arthur like this because she was sick. He needs attention, Brianna thought.
Brianna tries to understand, no matter how much she hates Arthur, she still has a conscience not to be rude to people who are sick. After all, Brianna remembered Chico who would also behave like this if he was sick, his son also liked to seek his attention.
In less than 30 minutes, the taxi had taken them to a nearby Hospital. Brianna immediately tells the doctor about Arthur's condition that she knows about him.
"Please check on him, Doctor, he says his stomach hurts."
The doctor nodded and helped Arthur enter the examination room for action.
"Have you missed your meal, sir?" ask the doctor.
And Arthur agreed.
After a while, they finally receive the results of the examination if Arthur's stomach is having problems. It happened because all this time he often missed his meal. Breakfast, lunch, and night. In another sense, Arthur ate irregularly. Arthur's stomach was declared injured because of his bad habits.
"You hear that? Don't forget to eat. Do not neglect your health just because of work. You could get sick. Do you want to be sick like this and not be able to do anything?" nagel Brianna.
Instead of being angry, Arthur was happy to hear Brianna's anger at him. Doesn't that mean the woman was watching him?
"If with pain I will get your attention, then I will choose pain every day" replied Arthur who was lying in the hospital bed.
Brianna was breathing out. He was serious, while Arthur even threw a joke.
"i'm serious. I'm glad you care about me." Arthur looked at Brianna with a deep look that made Brianna misbehave because of it.
Arthur holds Brianna's hands together, then he pulls the woman's body to get closer to him, Brianna reflexively bends in front of Arthur's face lying down due to the pull of the man.
"Well, I'll make up for the cure immediately at the pharmacy" replied Brianna nervously.
Arthur clasped Brianna's wrists together as his head shook slowly. "Not that drug," he said slowly.
"So?" Brianna was clearly confused by Arthur's statement.
"Kiss me!" Arthur pulled Brianna back closer, there was no rebellion from the woman until their lips touched at a glance.
Arthur is not willing if Brianna shuffles away, he holds the woman's position to keep bowing towards him, he covers Brianna's lips for a long time and releases her after feeling satisfied.
"Uhm, I-I'm going to the pharmacy first," Brianna said later, inexplicably embarrassed by Arthur's suddenly sweet attitude towards her. This must be because of the struggle they had done repeatedly this morning.
"Don't take too long, Bri."
"Yes-well, I'll be right back." Brianna quickly left the room.

Brianna and Arthur return to the hotel after checking on the man. Brianna has also been getting Arthur's medication for the next few days.
"Where are you going?" asked Arthur who saw Brianna dodging him.
"none. I'm just going to the bathroom" Brianna replied without daring to look Arthur in the eye.
"Hurry back."
"Hmmm..." Brianna leaves Arthur in a king-size bed in the middle of the room. He entered the bathroom and washed his face.
Brianna came out of the bathroom a few minutes later, but her eyes widened to see Arthur holding her phone. The man was even seen conversing like he was making a video call.
"Who?" Brianna asked Arthur without a sound, only her lips moved as the man turned his head towards her.
"Cho." Arthur smiled sweetly after saying his son's name.
Brianna's freaking out, she's not ready for Arthur to talk to Chico. He has not given any understanding to his son, how could Arthur take Chico's call on his phone for granted?
Brianna did not dare to get close to Arthur, because she was afraid that Chico would see her in the video call. But he also couldn't possibly let Chico and Arthur continue to chat with each other. Brianna feels so wrong now.
Fortunately Arthur understood Brianna's anxiety, he ended the call and placed Brianna's phone on the nightstand.
"Why did you pick up the call on my phone, Arthur?" brianna protested with a hostile face.
"Sorry, it keeps ringing and when I see that Chico I'm curious to take his call" replied Arthur calmly.
Brianna snorted loudly. "Don't repeat that, I haven't given Chico any understanding. I don't know what to give Zach and Flo if they ask why you picked up the phone from them."
"Yes, someone asked. Why can I take the video call."
"Ah, it must be Flo." Brianna grumbled there.
"Calm down. I can answer the question."
"What did you say?"
"I said you were in the bathroom."
Brianna closed her eyes tightly, Flo would have thought that something had happened between her and Arthur. Yes, although it's true but Brianna can't afford to be frank with them.
"My son is very handsome. I can't wait to meet him in person" Arthur said.
Brianna rubbed her own face. He hasn't calmed down yet if he hasn't heard what Flo or Zach think of all that's going on between him and Arthur now.
"You heard, right? I really can't wait to meet him in person. He was like an encouragement to me" Arthur later said.
Brianna took a short breath. "Have you guys had a chat? Chico said what?" tanyakanya.
"Come here. I'll tell you." Arthur patted the empty side next to him, like yesterday he was going to sleep in one bed with Brianna.
"Oh my .." murmured Brianna. Arthur's attitude clearly confused him. But like yesterday, does he also have to accept Arthur again today? And the next days? Brianna thinks she's consumed by Cecilia's advice, which prompts her to begin accepting the circumstances in which she and Arthur have indeed changed their status into a married couple.
