FOREVER HATE YOU'S

FOREVER HATE YOU'S
60. Foreign man

Arthur's pretty busy today, he hasn't had time to visit Brianna and Chico again. There were a lot of emails he got from Canada related to his work. He had to finish that first because it had been too long delaying to check on him.

Because of that, Arthur chose to pay attention to Brianna through the delivery of packages that he deliberately bought online.

After seeing the woman's daily life yesterday, Arthur thinks Brianna likes to take care of plants. As a result, he also took the initiative to buy Brianna plants that have a good philosophy such as baby breath flowers. The small white flower symbolizes eternal love, and that's what Arthur hopes from his relationship with Brianna.

However, when he called Brianna, he actually got an answer that made her heart break. Brianna said she dumped the package, stepped on it too. Arthur was out of words. Wanting to get angry, but he also realized that that was the attitude he used to do in front of the woman every time Brianna gave him a package of deliveries.

"But it's not from him. If the package was from him maybe I wouldn't have thrown it away like that" Arthur regretted his past mistakes.

Arthur so lost his good mood because of this, he did not focus anymore to check his work. Finally he left the hotel where he stayed for a while in New York, then headed to the Brianna Apartment. She couldn't let the woman continue like this to him, she didn't want Brianna to repay the same deed she did back then because she already regretted it now.

Arthur pressed the bell at Brianna's house but there was no word. He asked the passersby in the corridor of the Apartment, asking where Brianna was.

"Oh, maybe they're attending a neighbor's gathering at the apartment rooftop. You can find them there" replied a teenager who asked Arthur.

"Okay, thanks."

Arthur climbs onto the roof of the building to see what event Brianna is following. Chico might have been taken there, too.

Arriving at Arthur's rooftop apartment building, he saw a lot of people gathered. Some play music, dance and even enjoy the food provided.

Arthur's eyes wandered all over the place quite wide, he looked for Brianna's presence among the crowd. And he found it. Brianna was with Zach and Flo, they seemed to be chatting and joking because several times they seemed to laugh.

Arthur is looking for his son, Chico is playing with children his age, but there is also a man Arthur does not recognize, the man looked most familiar with Chico compared to the other children, they even looked like father and son.

Or is this just Arthur's feeling? Somehow Arthur does not like it, he feels jealous because from the beginning he is always difficult to imagine if his position as the real father of Chico will be replaced by another man.

Arthur galloped, about to get close to Chico who was playing cars on a synthetic turf there. But before Arthur actually arrived near Chico, the boy first realized his presence.

"Dad's? You here?" call Chico in a voice. The boy stood up and greeted Arthur there.

The things Chico did then made Brianna and others also realize the arrival of Arthur in their midst. Zach immediately snorted in dislike, while Flo touched her husband's hand to calm the man's attitude.

Brianna herself could only stay in her place, she could not possibly forbid meeting Arthur and Chico again, because she had already begun to accept the man in her life. The only reason Brianna could have prevented Arthur's arrival was probably simply because of respect for Zach who had not liked the man.

"Oh .. Daddy's son," said Arthur, who immediately carried Chico in his arms. He breathed in the boy's distinctive scent, which made him feel closer to the son, also yearning for him.

"Dad, let's play. With my friends!" invite Chico enthusiastically.

"Can?"

"Of course!" chico replied excitedly.

Arthur takes Chico to his place where many children's toys lie. There is a mini slide as well as a small swing that is deliberately installed there as a complement to the playground of children the age of Chico.

"They're all my friends. It's Natalie, it's Sienna, and it's Stuart" Chico said, introducing all his friends.

"Hallo!" father Arthur was friendly. He doesn't really like little kids, but Chico is able to make it possible to socialize with these boys.

"Hi, uncle!" answer them simultaneously.

"Uncle, are you Chico's Daddy?" ask the little girl Chico introduced with Natalie's name.

"Well, I'm the Daddy!" arthur answered with pride.

"Gee, it turns out Chico really has Daddy!" said Sienna who seemed to be a few years older than Chico, it seemed like she was already 6 or 7 years old.

"What I said," said Chico giggling. Looks like the boy has told even boasted in front of his friends that he has a Daddy.

Arthur just smiled in response to the plain conversation of the boys, though he realized that since then the man who played with the boys there was watching him.

Arthur looked at the man who was responded to by the man with a faint smile.

"He's David, Dad. He's also my friend" Chico said, looking at Arthur's vision.

"I'm David, their neighbor." The man reached out toward Arthur who greeted Arthur stiffly.

"Arthur."

"You're the Daddy?"

Arthur nodded.

David chuckles at a glance. "Areally his Daddy or just Brianna's girlfriend?" tanyanya.

"Both" replied Arthur Jumawa. He saw a strange flash in David's eyes, like a jealousy of his status.

"Ah, I think---"

"Arthur!" Suddenly Brianna came and interrupted the conversation of the two adult men. Automatically Arthur turned to the woman who had become his wife.

"Why are you here?" brianna asked, she ignored David there.

"I just want to see you guys."

"You said you were busy."

"I can't concentrate because you threw the package away from me and stepped on it" Arthur whispered to Brianna.

Brianna chuckled, but she accidentally saw David's red face at the end.

"Uhm, let's talk in the apartment." Brianna clearly intended to keep Arthur away from David, and somehow Arthur seemed to be able to read the book. Which of course makes Arthur more curious about all this. Was there anything missing from him? That's the man's thinking.

"OKAY. How's chico? We're taking you home?"

Brianna shakes. "No, I have something to talk to you about. Chico won't be coming home now because he's still playing here, Flo and Zach will be watching him."

Arthur smiled. "All right," he said.

Arthur looked at David again, but what Arthur found was that David was staring at Brianna intensely and a sad look that was difficult to interpret.

"Come, Arthur!" Brianna even pulled Arthur's arm to move quickly and not continue to be there.

...To be continue......
