"This is a warning stone about these springs" Puspa said.

Puspa then recited the verse seen on the stone. So his verse :

Iyant usucy collapsujata, kvacic chilavaluka nirggateyam, kvacit prak prakirnna subhasitatoya, samprasrta kariwa Gangga.

Means :

This clear and cold spring water comes out of the rock or sand to a place where many flowers are white, and flows there - here. After becoming one, it flows like a river Ganges.

Note :

The sloka is now known as the Tuk Mas Inscription. The inscription is thought to date from the VI century AD. The characters used are Pallawa and Sanskrit.

The size of the stone is 174 cm x 103 cm x 80 cm. The current location is in Dukuh Tuk Mas, Lebak Village, Grabag Subdistrict, Magelang Regency.

The water from the Tuk Mas spring is huge. Even the water is used by PDAM to irrigate the water needs in Magelang Regency.

During the holiday, the water source is used by the Hindu Magelang for Melasti (Before doing Brata Chess Separation).

8 Petals symbolize 8 wind eyes. 9 petals symbolize the 9 gods of the wind eye. May hope that the whole god can protect and bless this spring.

Oh yes, the writing on the Tuk Mas Inscription is the same as the inscription issued by King Purnawarman (Tarumanegara - West Java). So it could be said that the age of this inscription was very old. The inscription is also the oldest hang inscription found in the Mataram period of Kuna (in Central Java and DIY).
