.

Vishnu temple has a length of 20 m, width of 20 m, and height of 37 m. Inside there is a room that is the statue of Lord Vishnu.

"This entry if you want to go up to the room." lamented Ivan

"Jaudah sister - sister, how about we go around first." asked Fais.

We then agreed with Fais's invitation. As usual that reading the relief of the temple is pradaksina or circling the temple clockwise.

"Relief Ramayana is it?" ask Ivan.

"It's Kresnayana" Fais replied.

"Why not Ramayana, why is it different from the previous 2 temples?" asked Ivan curiously.

"Krishna is the avatar of Lord Vishnu." replied Dika.

The story carved on the balustrade of Vishnu Temple is not the story of Ramayana but the most important is the story of Krishnayana. The story selection is based on 2 possibilities :

Krishna is one of the statues of Lord Vishnu. So it is very suitable if it is broken.

The Ramayana story has been completed on 2 other temples. So choose another story but related to Vishnu.

"Can you tell me about the awatar?" ask Fais.

Dika then explained about the concept of awatara which he knew.

Awatara is the reincarnation of Lord Vishnu who will descend into the world. He will come down when the world is in danger. Awatara Lord Vishnu there are 10, so it is known as dasawatara.

"Airport?" ask Ivan.

"Yes, there is matsya, dates, waraha, narasimha, wamana, parasurama, rama, krishna, buddha, and the last that will appear in the end times is kalki" replied Dika.

In the reincarnation Vishnu is also described in a sloka in the Bhagavadgita

*yada - yada hi dharmasya

glanir bhawati bharata

abyutanaman adharmasya

tadat manam sri jamy

whichever dharma is about to disappear and adharma is rampant, that very moment o descendant of bharata, I myself descended incarnate*.

"So Rama and Krishna are the reincarnations of Lord Vishnu?" fais said make sure his word.

Me and Dika then nodded their heads simultaneously.

"Look we around, must be exciting this story." invite Ivan who is very excited.

We then continue the journey slowly, because reading the relief must be slow and a stone 1 with the others is very connected to the story.

"It started with Vrindawan the birthplace of Krishna." I said starting to tell him about the relief of Krishnayana.

Dika then continued my story. Dika and I agreed to help each other in explaining this story.

"Mother Yasoda and Nanda Maharaj were Krishna's adoptive parents. He was actually the son of a king from Mathura. But because Krishna's uncle Kamsa was so evil and tried to kill every child born of Krishna's mother" Dika explained

"Who are Krishna's real parents?" ask Ivan.

"His mother was Dewaki and his father was Basudeva" I answered briefly

Our conversation became very interesting, even many tourists who participated in the buzz and listened to Me and Dika tell stories about the origin of Sri Krishna. We are indifferent even if our knowledge is in demand by others.

"Why does Krishna want to be killed with the Kangsa?" ask a tourist.

"One day Rsi Narada visited Mathura. He told Kangsa that the 8th son of Dewaki would kill him. Therefore, every child born from the womb of Dewaki always killed by Kangsa. From then on Kangsa locked Nanda and Dewaki in jail" I replied.

"Why did Krishna survive?" ask Fais.

This time, Dika will explain.

"At the time Dewaki was pregnant with her 7th child. He prayed to save the boy. The goddess Nidra (sleeping goddess) moved the child into the womb of Rohini (the second wife of Basudeva. Born the baby safely and named Balarama or known as Baladewa means guardian of the god".

I then continued to explain Dika about Krishna.

"When Dewaki was pregnant with the 8th child, Basudeva prayed to Vishnu and at that time Vishnu was present and told that his son had to be exchanged with the son of a cowherd from Vrindawan. Basudewa then took Krishna out of prison. Unseen things happen, the fight is open, the whole army is asleep, and then Basudeva goes to Vrindawan and exchanges her baby for baby Yasoda (wife of Nanda)." I replied.

"So Krishna survived in exchange for his baby Yasoda.

"Yes, to know the history of Krishna let's walk and read the relief again." ask me.
