(In this section will be the road to the temple which blm in know his real name. But on the roof of the temple there is a lotus flower relief. So, I mentioned "Padma Grha")

...

I am very excited because I will continue to the next temple. As usual, I was taken in by two of my best friends. The point is to get me to the destination quickly.

"Parahyangan I Three Haryyan, right?" much

"Sorry princess, no. But we're going to Padma Grha" said Kencana

"Why don't you go to the three Haryyans?" manya curious.

"After this" said Puspa.

I did not ask any more and according to what Puspa said. Not long after we got to a bathhouse that I thought was very unique.

"Is this Padma Grha?" much

"Yes princess, this is Padma Grha" said Puspa

Padma grha is a Hindu temple. This can be known from the existence of findings that are hinduistic, among others: lingga, yoni, and Ganesha statue in the temple. The bridge faces east.

The direction of facing is marked by the entrance to the temple room on the east side.

"Puspa this temple is very tiny. Kira - how big is it?" much

"May I explain, princess?" ask Kencana

"Of course, please." I said

...

(Examining Kencana)

Padma grha has an area of 27.3 m2, which stands on an area of 3,324 m2. Padma grha square measuring 5.25 x 5.25 meters and 7.75 meters high.

The padma grha consists of the legs, body, and roof. At the foot of the temple there are no reliefs. In the body part of the temple, in the room there is a yoni.

On the right-left of the entrance to the room there is a niche containing a statue, one containing a statue of Nandiswara (the head of the statue is missing (currently). The other one is usually filled with Mahakala statues.

"This statue's cage, it contains the Shiva family, huh?" much

"Now I will explain" said Puspa

Puspa Explanation.

The recesses on the north side are Durga (Now no longer exist). South there is Agastya (but now ) does not contain a statue. To the west is a niche containing a statue of Ganesha sitting on top of a yoni.

Ganesha is also called Wighneswara which is in charge of removing all obstacles.

"The ganesha is so pretty huh" I said

"Yes princess, ganesha as the god of protection" Kencana said

I then walked around the temple. Suddenly my eyes were fixed on a temple roof. The roof of the temple there is a decoration that makes me interested.

"That's what?" much

Puspa and Kencana then followed me. He then looked at the picture I was pointing at.

"Seroja flowers" Kencana said

I was confused by flowers. The flower looks like a lotus.

On the roof of the temple there is a lingga placed on top of the seroja bearing. The top of the phallus is cylindrical. At the top of the inner roof there is a small cavity-shaped room.

"Is it seroja dama with lotus?" much

"No, different princesses" Kencana said

"What's the difference then?" much

...

(Puspa Explanation).

Seroja or lotus (Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn.) is a species of aquatic plant of the genus Nelumbo. The flower comes from India. In the archipelago this plant is often called a lotus (Nymphaea). Although the two are not actually related.

An empty tube-shaped stalk in the middle for passage through the air. Leaves are found on the surface of the water, out of the stems derived from rhizomes that are in the lumpu at the bottom of ponds, rivers or swamps. The height of the plant is about one meter to one and a half meters

"Daughter's understanding?" tanya Puspa

"Yes understand, in the future it is also called Saraswati lotus. The petals are huge, right?" much

I then saw a pond that was at the end of the temple.

"That's what's called a flower" said Puspa

The leaves grow upward, high above the surface of the water. The leaves are full roundabout without cuts, wavy at the edges, with the leaf veins gathered into the middle of the leaf.

The diameter of the leaves can reach 60 cm. The surface of the leaves contains a layer of wax. So that the water that falls to the surface of the leaves forms water droplets.

Flowers with a diameter of up to 20 cm. are pure white, yellow or pink, coming out of a strong stalk towering above the water surface.

"Princess, let's go back to the Padma Grha temple." take Puspa

We then headed back to Padma Grha. I kept watching the outside of the temple.

On the outer roof there is a relief shaped human head framed by a window. The relief is also found in Bima Temple in Dieng bathing complex, commonly called “Arca Kudu”.

"That's a relief of who?" much

"It's kinara or bidadara of heaven" said Puspa.

Suddenly my eyes wide open and headed to a temple staircase that is very unique than usual.

"Well, is the staircase made of wood?" much

"Yes this temple is very unique. The ladder is made of wood" Puspa said

...

Padma grha has the privilege of not finding the entrance stairs, the possibility of the entrance stairs made of wood or other materials that are easily damaged, so that until now it has not been found again.

Another specialty is the center point of the temple which coincides with the center point of the temple courtyard.

"Who built this temple?" much

"This temple was built by one of the descendants of Panangkaran who adheres to Hinduism" said Kencana

...

Note :

The temple is now known as Gebang Temple. The temple is located in Gebang Hamlet, Wedomartani Village, Ngemplak District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. Gebang Temple position is at UTM coordinates 49M X: 435617 and Y: 9143140.

From the research and excavation activities that have been done it is known that the statue is only the remains of a Ganesha statue, while the others have not been found again.

In this activity found the ruins of the building consisting of the roof of the temple, a small part of the body, and part of the legs that are still intact.

Furthermore, from the existing findings, the preparation of experiments was carried out, although many building body parts use replacement stones.

The restoration of Gebang Temple was carried out in 1937 until 1939, led by V.R. van Romondt.

The history of the establishment of Gebang Temple cannot be known with certainty because until now there has been no written source that explains the construction of the temple.

Reviewed from the shape of the foot of the temple that has a high proportion shows that Gebang Temple comes from the old period (± 730 – 800 M).

According to van Romondt, Gebang Temple which ”kecil” originated in the early days of Central Java.

...

"Daughter, are you satisfied to see this building?" ask Kencana

"Yes Kencana, this building is very unique and beautiful" I said

"I also just realized that this temple has seroja flowers. Not a lotus flower like any other temple." I said

"Daughter, let's continue the journey to Awatara Grha." take Puspa

I wonder what that building is. Why is it called Anatara Grha.
