Sorry, the end of this episode is a bit heavy. But this is a fact in the field that I have to go through the study process first.
.
We really enjoy the explanation that sometimes makes us have to digest. Fais' explanation is detailed but sometimes not yet in our brains. That may be because we are still SD grad children and just want to enter Junior High School. It is only natural that we are sometimes confused.
"Is my explanation confusing?" fais asked while giggling.
"Yes, we might be a little confused. But I'm sure if we grow up, I'll understand. But at least we know that this is all because of the Netherlands, England, and Japan" said Dika who later concluded about the restoration.
I then concluded, "So every June 14th will be celebrated as an ancient day."
"Remain .. Every June 14, archaeologists and historical observers will commemorate" Fais replied.
Dika then walked and put the keben fruit next to the fence.
"Mas Fais, it has not been told for the rebuilding of Prambanan Temple. How's story?" much
Fais then smiled and explained about the restoration of Prambanan Temple.
----
In 1733, C. A. Lons rediscovered the ruins of Shiva Temple. He then reported to the Dutch East Indies government. The first excavations and records were carried out under the supervision of Groneman. The excavation of the temple was completed in 1885 which included the clearing of the temple from the belular shrubs and the rock grouping of the temple.
1905 Was followed by van Erp. Grouping and identification are done very carefully and in more detail. In 1918 the restoration of Prambanan Temple under the supervision of the Antiquities Service (Oudheidkundige Dientst) led by P. J Perquin's. In this case most of the Shiva Temple has been reconstructed.
In 1926 a restoration committee was formed under the leadership of De Haan. He continued what Perquin had done. In this case, Shiva Temple can be reconstructed and start planning the restoration of Apit Temple.
In 1931, De Haan died and was replaced by V. R. van Romondt. He successfully completed the restoration of Apit Temple a year later. In 1942 the restoration was halted due to a war with Japan. Indonesia was then occupied by Japan. In 1953, the restoration of Shiva Temple and Apit Temple was declared completed in the pugar.
----
"Do you know who inaugurated Shiva Temple?" ask Fais.
"In 1953, that means Indonesia has been independent .." Dika analysis then I sahut like lightning.
"President Soekarno who else." said Dika who then glared at me.
"Hehehehe .. peace, pardon sir. Long time ago his analysis." I said in self-defense.
The three of us then remembered - remember where the marble inscription that was signed Soekarno. Ivan then surprised us.
"I know where the inscription is" said Ivan
"Where to try?" I asked because Ivan first knew and remembered it.
"At the entrance of Shiva Temple, after the first staircase of the trus there is the main gate of the temple well on the left side of the gate wall" said Ivan proud because it can explain the location of the object we mean with details.
I then glanced at Fais and raised my eyebrows. I was like that as a question asking for the truth of Ivan's answer.
"Yes right, it's there. Great Ivan inget details where the marble inscription lies" said Fais praising Ivan.
"Oh yes .. by the way - by inscription. Where is the Shiva Grha Inscription? could it be in the museum to the northeast?" I then remembered the inscription of this temple.
"Not ... but the Shiva Grha Inscription is now stored in the National Museum of Jakarta, with inventory number D.28" Fais said.
I thought that the inscription was stored in the prambanan museum located in the northeast.
"Mas Fais, what we can know about the Shiva Graha Inscription. It contains details other than telling about the construction of this temple, is there anything else?" tanya Dika who was very curious about the contents of the inscription.
Fais then smiled for a moment and he started to ask questions.
"Before I tell you, I have this question for you" Fais said trying to ask us.
"What mas?" ask Dika
"What do you guys know about this inscription?" Fais was trying to extract information from us.
"I know that Prambanan was built by Rakai Pikatan in 856 AD." replied Dika.
"Heh .. child prodigy, you guys are really smart SD kids. Okay mas Fais will answer but after you ask what you want to cry." Fais then smiled after telling the rules.
