We then went downstairs and looked for a place to shelter. Understandably at Prambanan Temple at 14:00 and above it is hot - hot, so we need a place to shelter. Oh yes in page 1 of Prambanan Temple there are only a few trees hlo. The tree in page 1 and allowed to grow is just a keben tree.

The keben tree or its scientific name is barringtonia asiatica. The tree grows in tropical regions, spread along the Indian Ocean.

"Rest there yuk (pointing me towards the concrete chair under the shade tree)."

"OK, really fit can while turning (seek the wind)." proposed Dika.

The four of us then headed for the tree. While sitting Dika took out a snack that he brought from home and Ivan went down briefly to buy mineral water. Ivan bought mineral water by calling the merchants from the temple gate. We really enjoy the atmosphere of the breeze and the beautiful view of Prambanan. Suddenly Fais was shocked because right beside him there was a fruit that fell from a tree.

"Aduuuuh .. thankfully not hit." cried Fais.

The fruit then rolls towards the fence Prambanan Temple. I looked at the fruit and I took the fruit. Suddenly my eyes saw that the fruit was similar to a stone decoration on the fence.

"Yes look alike!" muttered.

I then took it and handed it to Fais.

"Mas Fais, is this fruit the same shape as the fence decoration?" ask me while showing the decoration neatly lined up on the Prambanan fence.

"This is the fruit of his name." Fais replied as he took the fruit from my hand.

Dika then took it from Fais's hand and tried to equate with the decoration I meant.

"Yes the same, what this has meaning in the temple, do not - do not decorate the fence is indeed imitating the shape of this fruit" said Dika who was full of telisik towards the fruit.

Fais then took out his pocket book and turned it over per page. He read it briefly and then smiled.

"Father - sister, the decoration of the fence did take inspiration from this fruit. This fruit has a flower that smells fragrant and unique shape. So that our ancestors imitated it for decoration in the temple." explained Fais who then turned the fruit around.

"It must have a deep meaning, right?" asked Ivan who was also curious then he took the keben fruit lying not far from him.

"Why?" ask Dika.

"This fruit has been predicated as a fruit of peace" Fais said.

"Fruit peace?" we said the three of us at the same time.

Fais then explained that on June 5, 1986, during the anniversary of Environment, President Suharto as a theme that is a tree for peace. In fact, he also explained that the tree has a deep meaning for the Ngayogyakarta Palace.

Keben trees are specially planted in the palace area because they are considered to have other symbols. The symbol is as a symbol of a great and clean country. In addition, Keben also means as an embankment of togetherness. Keben also has a deep meaning in Anak Krakatau Island.

"Is this fruit useful?" my many.

"Of course ... Our ancestors certainly did not just choose a tree for inspiration in the sacred building" Fais said, then he explained the benefits of the keben fruit.

The benefits of keben fruit is that it contains saponins that can be used as a natural fish poison. The poison can be obtained by heating or boiling the fruit and then squeezed. Until finally get a liquid that is red.

In ancient Java, water squeezed from keben seeds was used as an adhesive in the manufacture of umbrellas and can be used to kill ecto parasites such as leeches. While the keben tree is already large, the trunk can be used for the construction of houses and for the manufacture of canoes. So that coastal communities once used keben wood to make canoes.

"Wuah ... This tree is very useful yes it turns out." I muttered with a smile.

"Can we do it?" suhut Ivan who then we have an idea to get the seed of the tree.

"Oh hya sisters, do you know who rebuilt Prambanan Temple?" fais asked who made us divert attention from the keben.

"Dutch.

Fais then laughed, "He knows the Netherlands .. but do you know what its history is?".

We then shook our heads.
