happy reading **

We then decided to visit Vishnu Temple but I don't know what worries me. Desire to return to behold the bravery and good looks of the Lord Shiva.

"I'm still curious about the statue of Shiva. What if you go to Vishnu Temple first." I said

"Where are you going?" ask Dika

"I want to go back to Shiva's room again" I said

I then stepped in to enter Shiva's room. But it turns out the three of them were also following me.

"Kok you guys follow me? much

"Where might we leave you." said Ivan.

we then went back to Shiva's room. I saw the mysterious man smiling at me.

'Who the hell is he, ' I asked in my heart.

"Eh .. nglamun, look what the hell, so go up?" fais said it surprised me.

"Be" I said briefly.

We then went back upstairs. I saw again the statue of Lord Shiva that is so very charming.

"It's so handsome, try him alive. I must have liked him." I muttered.

"Ngawuuur, be careful when you say" protested Dika.

Fais then went back to explain the existence of the statue of Shiva.

The statue of Shiva Mahadeva is the supreme god in Hinduism. He was placed in a garbhagrha.

Shiva has a vehicle in the form of an ox Nandi. This statue has the attribute of ardacandrakapala is a decoration of hair that contains the moon, stars, and human skull decoration. While the crown worn by Lord Shiva is called jatamakuta or the crown of majesty used using a hair coil.

"Kids, do you know. What makes this god known as Shiva Mahadeva?" ask Fais.

"Trisula, ardhacandrakapala, genitry." replied Ivan.

"Good Van, you have begun to understand to recognize the statue in Prambanan. Is there any more?" ask Fais again.

"He has 3rd eye, bhatara trinetra" I replied.

Trinetra is one of the main characteristics of the unyuk to recognize the statue of Lord Shiva. Tri means three, while netra means eye. So Lord Shiva has a third eye on his forehead. This third eye that he used to see the universe and its contents.

"Siwa also holds a camara." said Dika

"Oh hya .. why Shiva and the other gods are always depicted standing on a lotus." asked Ivan who was curious because all the statues we visited all stood on a lotus.

I then explained that the lotus in Hinduism and Buddhism is a sacred flower.

The lotus or padma is a sacred flower that can grow in 3 realms. The roots of the flower grow in mud (water), the leaves float in water and the stem penetrates all the way to land. The flowers are in the air. The lotus flower has a natural oil contained in it. That is why the lotus flower cannot be wet by water. The lotus also lives in a dirty place (mud). But when it blooms, it will give beauty. So it symbolizes that we as humans should not be affected by negative things. We must continue to spread positive values so that people who are less good turn out to be good and have compassion.

"There are more features that make Lord Shiva special" said Dika.

"What's that?" asked Fais curiously.

"This soul is described as having the attributes of a lion.

"Where's the lion?" tanta Ivan was curious while continuing to deny where the lion was. Fais and Ivan continued to search for the existence of the lion from top to bottom. They didn't find him. But I saw where the lion was.

"There's no singa!" said Fais who was getting upset.

"There ... I saw it." I said. They were more curious, then Dika showed the lion was. Estimate the lion is in the clothes under the siwa on the left.

"Yes, I see. Amazingly you two can find the attributes of Shiva. Jellies are also your eyes." praise Fais after discovering where the lion is.

The lion is the strongest beast in the world. He is known as the king of the jungle. So it is not good if Shiva uses the lion attribute. In other depictions Shiva wears clothes made of tiger skin and sits on a lion with his wife Parvati.

"Siwa also uses a chest decoration made of cobras." I said.

"It must be because the kibra is the king of snakes. The snake that has the deadliest poison in the snake world." - Ivan.

"Rubber." I replied briefly.

After we were satisfied, we finally went down and headed to Vishnu's room.

Note :

Shiva in this sculpture also has something special. Shiva is depicted using a bottom cloth or pull or holster decorated with sandalwood flowers "sandalwood flower motif". Motifs that take the form of sandalwood flowers. The selection of sandalwood flowers because sandalwood is a wood that is consecrated in the Hindu tradition.
