"Nara, you don't have to take a shower. But enough clowns face, wipe head, hands, and feet." advises Adhir.
I just shook my head too. Coincidentally this afternoon, we were very lucky. This lightning is quiet, so no one bothers us.
"Why you?" ask Adhir
"Surprisingly, that feeling was a lot of cars. But why is there no one here" I said
Adhir just smiled and then stopped his hand in front of me. It turns out that he made everyone in this lightning silence motionless.
"I did it, so you're comfortable. The time of the crown princess should blend in with other visitors" Adhir said.
"Adhir. The crown princess was. Now I'm an ordinary citizen." I said
But Adhir doesn't like debate. He immediately told me to clean up. After that, we went back to the car and prepared to explore the nature of Dieng.
"Nara, do you know about the ins and outs of the buildings in Dihyang?" ask Adhir.
I just shook my head. Hmm. I actually know. But I pretend I don't know. Adhir Seneng, hehehe...
"What?" much
"In addition to religious buildings also our ancestors left their traces. They left a trail by showing the wealth of our ancestors" Adhir said.
"What do you mean, Dhir? I don't know." I said
He then explained to me the meaning of his words.
"Regardless of the various architectural influences that exist in Dieng, it can be known that the deity worshipped in Dieng is trimurti, consisting of Brahma (creator of the contents of the universe), which is also known as the god who is worshipped in Dieng, Vishnu (the time-setter of the existence of the contents of the universe), and Shiva (the regulator of the return of the contents of the universe to the realm of eternity). These three gods are the main gods in Hinduism" said Adhir.
As the findings of Gemuruh, Wonosobo, in the form of three gold sheets containing reliefs of Shiva Mahadeva, Vishnu, and Harihara and a statue of Shiva and Parvati of gold. In Java, the most popular sect is the worship of Shiva and his companions (Parswadewata).
"The worship of Shiva in Dieng is manifested in the form of a statue or symbolism placed in the main room of the temple (grbagrha), followed by a companion god consisting of Durga, Agastya, and Ganesha." adhir
"Adhir, did you know that Shiva is also depicted in various forms?" much
He nodded his head and smiled.
"Siwa is depicted in various embodiments, namely Aniconic is depicted in the form of a phallus (male symbol) that is placed on the yoni (female symbol), Anthropomorphic is depicted in human form, for example the statue of Shiva and Mahaguru, for example, Zoomorphics are depicted in the form of animals such as Nandi statues" said Adhir.
Of the many depictions of Shiva in Dieng, Shiva Traisirah (Siwa diarcakan three-headed) and Siwanandisawahanamurti (Siwa diarcakan with a sitting position on his vahan, nandi) are Dieng statues.
"Great you Nara, you know also about the depiction of the goddess god." Adhir said.
I just smiled because I was praised by Adhir. Oh yes, our first route is to the oldest temple. But before that, we passed through a place.
"Ra, do you know the story behind it?" point Adhir.
I followed the instructions from Adhir's index finger. Hmm.it turns out he pointed to a site. His name is Gangsiran Aswatama.
"Place to channel the flow of water when inundating the temple?" much
He nodded his head too.
"Bale Kambang and Aswatama Gangs' termites may have served as channels to remove the puddles that cover the pages of the Arjuna Temple Complex" said Adhir.
"Did Arjuna Temple ever drown?" much
"Yes, but the explanation later is about Arjuna Temple. We go to Bima Temple first." said Adhir.
I also followed Adhir's lead. Oh yes, to enter this location. We have to pay for the ticket again. Because Dieng area is in two districts. Banjarnegara Regency and Wonosobo.
"Rp 50,000 for both, sir" said the counter guard.
Adhir then gave a hundred thousand pieces of money.
"Take it back, I add it" said Adhir.
"For your son and wife who are waiting at home" said Adhir.
I also smiled with the generosity of Adhir. He then told me that the son of the counter guard was sick.
"You know?" much
"Yes, just by looking at his eyes. Then I can see what will happen later" said Adhir.
I was also stunned by Adhir's attitude. Really - really noble attitude. Before long, we arrived at the Bima Temple parking lot.
Candi Bima is one of the largest temple sites found in the Dieng Plateau area precisely in Dieng Kulon Village, Batur Subdistrict, Banjarnegara Regency, Central Java. This temple has a uniqueness where the shape is different from the temples found in Central Java in general. The unique architecture of this temple is often associated with the Indian architectural style. Its existence is quite well known because it is on the edge of the main route to the Sikidang Dieng Crater area.
"Bima temple built around the VII-VII century AD still shows a strong Indian bettor. This is shown by the shape of the roof that is affected by two styles from India, North Indian style is seen on the roof in the form of a tall tower (sikhara)" said Adhir.
While the south Indian style is shown by the presence of a terraced roof with corner towers and horseshoe-shaped niches with decorations in the form of kudu statues. Although still influenced by Indian style, but it became a privilege owned by Bima Temple, because until now the combination of the two styles was only found in the temple.
"So this temple is very India centric, huh?" much
"Yes, because there used to be priests and architects from India who helped our people build temples. So here is a learning center to build the temple" said Adhir.
"Bima Temple is similar to Bhubaneswar Temple in North India which is said to be the development of a temple with the shape of a Shikhara (tower that is terraced). In addition, the North Indian style is indicated by the presence of Kudu found in Bima Temple." I said
The kudu decoration is shaped like a horseshoe with a human head relief decoration in the middle. Relief of this kind by some experts mentioned his style similar to mask art in Java.
Unfortunately, the maintenance of Bima Temple is quite alarming because the influence of sulfur vapor causes the building blocks of the temple to be very fragile.
"Kira - how many meters tall huh?" much
"Bima Temple has a height of about 8 meters, built on a square-shaped foundation measuring 6 x 6 meters" replied Adhir.
"Oh yes, Ra... Did you know that there were some inscriptions found in the Dieng Region?" ask Adhir.
"So mentioned 22 inscriptions. But whatever, I don't know." I said, bowing.
"Let me explain" said Adhir.
