From the explanation of Puspa and Kencana, I concluded that the ancestors I knew started from Dapunta Hyang Selendra (King of Mount). He has a mother named Bhadrawati and Santanu (his father). That means they are my grandparents far away.

I also get the picture that the beginning of the kingdom of Mataram was built by Rakai Mataram the Queen Sanjaya. He was the one who founded the new name Mataram (Medang) which has its capital in Poh Ptu. Queen Sanjaya ascended the throne in 717 AD.

In 732 AD, he erected a phallus on the hill of Sthirangga to worship Lord Shiva. The establishment of the phallus to commemorate the royal glory previously achieved by his uncle (King Sanna).

However, he died of illness. He died in great pain. He had been in pain for 8 days for following the teachings of his teacher. Seeing the suffering of his father, his son then abandoned Shiva's religion.

"One day I'll make a diagram of my great-grandfather's genealogy." I murmured inwardly.

"It's not you who makes it, but your great-grandson will make it" said Puspa

"Sweety?" much

"But sorry princess, we have not been able to take you to the world, where your descendants rule in Mataram" Kencana explained

"But will I be able to see how my great-grandson will be?" much

"Sure, but after you married Rakai. We'll take you." said Puspa.

I am very happy, because I was invited at the beginning - the beginning of Medang was built. And will be invited when Medang experienced destruction. I am also aware that the laws of a country at this time. The law is the process of establishment, struggle, reaching the top, upheaval, and collapse.

"Puspa, why haven't we reached Tara Bawana yet?" much

"Prophette, soon we will arrive." replied Puspa

Sure enough, not for how long. We arrived at a very grand and luxurious courtyard. Incredibly her temple is towering. The roof is made of stupa. There is a main temple and surrounded by the guardianship temple.

"This is the hallmark of Buddhist Temple." I said in my heart

"Daughter, this is to worship and glorify Goddess Tara" Kencana replied

I only smile when they can communicate with my heart. They clearly know what I'm thinking. It was because they had stayed in my body. They are also apsara and apsari.

"Is this to worship, my mother?. But isn't my mother dead and not a goddess?" manya curious.

I suspect - presumably, that this building is intended for my mother (Dewi Tara). But right, at this time my mother may not be the son-in-law of Panangkaran grandfather. Who is the goddess Tara.

"Not a princess, not your mother's Goddess Tara. But Dewi Tara the goddess in Buddhist belief" said Puspa.

"So my grandfather Rakai Panangkaran worships Dewi Tara? he renounced Shiva, fearing the same fate as Grandpa Buyut Sanjaya?" much

That's very logical indeed. Because at that time, trust can change because of a major event. Indeed, the teachings that developed in this century are Shiva (Hindu) and Buddhism.

"Kencana, Puspa can you explain why Panangkaran grandfather chose to worship Dewi Tara, why not go directly to Adi Budha?" much

Obviously I'll ask you like that. As far as I know the highest Buddha is Adi Buddha. I wonder why Grandpa chose to worship Goddess Tara. That must be the reason why a goddess was chosen. Not to worship Manjusri, Ratnasambhawa, Amogasidhi, or Amitabha.

"No princess, your grandfather worshipped some gods in Buddhism. It's just that in this temple specifically to worship Goddess Tara" said Kencana

"This temple is the first temple made by your grandfather, Panangkaran after he was crowned king." said Puspa

That means this is the first temple made by grandfather. This temple is very luxurious and magnificent. Seen on the ornaments of his temple are very rich and rich in ornamental motifs.

"Well princess, I will explain why your grandfather chose to worship Goddess Tara and make a temple for her" said Kencana

...

(Examining Kencana)

The name Tara comes from the Sanskrit word "tar" which means to cross. That means that Goddess Tara helps to take all beings out of all suffering (samsara). She is also referred to as "jetsun Drolma which means mother of the liberator. Also known as "Pagma Drolma which means the noble liberator."

Dewi Tara is also referred to as Dara Eke which means the mother of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Dewi Tara has 21 embodiments of Arya Tara. The most famous is the Green Tara. Green Tara is an agile helper, to those who plead with her.

White tara is associated with peace and harmony. Especially great compassion, healing, and tranquility. Dewi Tara is also known as "cintacakra" which means the wheel of desire.

Another embodiment is the red tara which means strength and conquest. Yellow tara means progress, prosperity, and wealth. Blue tara means strength and greatness.

...

After hearing the explanation from Kencana, I understand why Rakai Panangkaran chose to worship Dewi Tara at the beginning of his reign.

"That means Rakai Panangkaran worships Dewi Tara for freedom from the havoc that has befallen Rakai Sanjaya, right?" many make sure

"As usual princess, you're very smart" Kencana said

"May I look closely at this Tara Bawana building?" much

"Of course, please princess" said Puspa

As usual, they have put up a Himbunan study. So people who are on the move here will not see me. I first did prayer and prayer. I entered the main building. There is a large statue of Goddess Tara. The statue is made of bronze.

"Have princesses?" tanya Puspa

"I want to see the ornamental motif on the side wall" I said

Puspa and Kencana also faithfully followed behind. Among the walls of this temple building, what I am most interested in is the relief kala. Kala or keeper of religious holy buildings is described in great detail and grand.

Kala in this temple is described with a fairly large. On the edge of kala there are kinara and kinari dancing. At the top of his eyes there is a vine motif. On his left and right ears was a giant face. He is also described as having large teeth. As well as from his mouth came out the lotus-tipped vine motif.

In the temple niche there are various bodhisattva statues. This temple is very detailed, it deserves to be called as a royal temple. This temple is located in the lowlands. Not like Candi Lingga (Mount Wukir).

"Puspa, this temple is very beautiful. How did they come up with such a detailed picture?" much

"The designer of this building has learned from Jambu Dwipa. in addition, they also do tapa brata yoga and samadhi." explained Puspa

"But, your ancestor is a very great princess. They do not follow the example of buildings in India. Rather made with high creativity and taste. This is the architect of your ancestors' work. Your ancestors were great for having found a style in the making of sacred buildings." - Kimpal Kencana

I also smiled proudly. It turns out that despite learning the art of waking up in India. But they have created and made it into a different building to the one in India.

Our ancestors knew that we were not a nation of imitators. But we learn and then create and innovate for the better. Our temple building is different from the temples in India.

...

This temple in the present is known as Candi kalasan. It is located in Kalibening Hamlet, Tirtomartani Village, Kalasan District, Sleman Regency, DIY. This temple is not far from the main road Yogya - Solo.

...

Suddenly my eyes were fixed on a stone locked in a small pendopo. I also put my feet there.

"Puspa, this?" much

"This is a stone inscription made by your grandfather to commemorate the founding of Tara Bawana" Kencana said

"Nara, do you know the name of Abhisheka from your grandfather?" tanya Puspa

I then remembered - remember the abhiseka title that Fais had told me.

"Peradah Purnal Panangkaran." I said

"It's not an abhiseka, but it's a designation because your grandfather was a hang-sakti" said Puspa

"Then?" much

"There are many titles of abhiskekanya. One of them is Sri Maharaja Rakai Panangkaran Dyah Sangkhara Sri Sanggramadhananjaya" Kencana said.

I nodded and was very impressed. It turns out that people in this period have had long names and titles.

"But why did he use the title 'Sangkhara', instead of Sangkhara being another name of Lord Shiva?" much

"Because he was the son of Sanjaya who was a devout devotee of Shiva. Before changing religion, Panangkaran grandfather was also a devout Shiva worshiper." explained Puspa.

After knowing the reason, I grew curious about the sound of the stone inscription.

"Puspa" I said as I glanced.

Puspa seems to know what I mean. He simply smiled and moved towards that stone inscription.
