The northern room is where the goddess of death is very beautiful. Before ascending to the room, Fais shows an eye-catching sculpture.

"Sister, sister wants to show a very famous statue" said Fais.

"Where's Mas? how do I never know?" my many.

He then showed a relief of a statue of a god whose belly was distended, holding a coffin of wealth, and holding a flower padma on top of which there are sanka wings. Then I smiled.

"Ooooh .. the statue of Lord Kuwera." I said

"How do you know that this is Lord Kuwera?" ask Fais.

I then smiled and explained about the story of Lord Kuwera.

The god Kuwera is the god of wealth. He was the son of a sakti rsi named Wisrawa. At first Kuwera was named Malyawan, he was a man and king in Alengka. So he is Ravana's half-brother.

Ravana tried to seize the throne of Alengka by doing puja to Lord Shiva. Ravana then ascended and he finally got the gift of devotion and he was able to defeat Kuwera.

Ravana then became king in Alengka and also seized a Kuwera vehicle called puspaka wimana. For the defeat, Kuwera then finally ascended and he got the grace of the god as the god of wealth.

"God Kuwera is also known as the god lokapala (guardian of the world) with the direction of the north wind." added Dika.

"So if we want to be rich and prosperous can pray to the God Kuwera yes" said Ivan, who made us all smile.

Tourists who know the existence and stories about this god, surely they will touch the statue of this god. The myth is that those who can touch and pray to the statue of this god will prosper.

However, the actions of tourists can cause harm if not heart-heart, because the statue of this god is located in the body of the temple is rather high and must climb first.

The act of climbing the temple is strictly prohibited and also that human hands cause sweat which can become salt crystals if touched the stone sculpture. So the effect is that the statue will experience corrosion.

In the principle of preservation is not recommended to touch the stone statue that is thousands of years old.

"Oh hya .. why Lord Kuwera holds a lotus over which there is sanka. Though it was a weapon and icon of Lord Vishnu." asked Fais curious.

Me and Dika then glanced at each other and then smiled. My eyes then gave a sign for him to explain.

"Sanka is the weapon of Lord Vishnu, right. It was made of sea shells and had wings. Its meaning is as a provider of welfare and protection on land, sea, and air. Vishnu is famous as the God of Preserver." replied Dika.

Kuwera is a devout devotee of Vishnu, which is why he uses the sanka attribute.

"Sister - your sisters are all cool. I'm so proud. You are proud, still graduates of SD but your knowledge is extraordinary. Let's go to the north room" Fais said.

We then set foot into the northern room which only stayed up the connecting stairs and the entrance stairs of the room.

Kuwera was mentioned as a later human being because of his devotional and devout asceticism he eventually became the new god and was titled the god of wealth and the god of welfare.

Asta Dikpalaka or Lokapala is the guardian god of the wind. The existence of this lokapala god also adorns the body of Shiva Temple in Prambanan Temple. The god of the wind direction is :

In addition to asta or 8 is also usually known as dasa or 10 guards.2 more is to guard zenith and nadir.

zenith is guarded by Brahma and nadir is guarded by Vishnu.

Zenith is the point in space that is directly above the observer. The position of the zenith in space depends on the direction of the Earth's gravitational force where the observer is.

Nadir is the opposite of the zenith, a point in space that is just below the observer. The nadir point means the lowest point
