Chapter 11 - Should You Give Up?

Elnara did not know if in a few months the relationship between Zayan and Micah was close. The heartache is certain, but Elnara can't do much. Wanting to be angry it feels like Elnara can not afford because in the end only he was hurt.

On the other hand there is Vika who starts to know the relationship between Elnara and Zayan is not good. From the beginning Vika doubted their marriage because she felt that only Elnara loved Zayan, while the man looked ordinary. However, Vika could not do much because she realized she was just an outsider.

Unfortunately, Vika's patience had run out when she saw Zayan having lunch with another woman and looking very familiar. That's why Vika finally met Elnara to tell her best friend. They are currently in the restaurant for lunch together and want to show what Vika has seen.

“How is your husband?” vika's question suddenly made Elnara look at him in disbelief.

“Tumben so great to nanyain my husband? Already made peace lo?” Elnara smiled seductively Vika who from the beginning did not like Zayan.

“Actually there is something I want to talk about, but I want to give you proof first.” Vika said as she occasionally glanced towards the door of the restaurant to make sure that what she was waiting for had arrived.

Somehow Elnara's feelings became uncomfortable, she felt that what Vika wanted to convey was a big thing.

It wasn't long before Vika's wait finally arrived. Soon Vika codes Elnara to turn to the entrance of the restaurant. Up ahead, Elnara saw Zayan entering the restaurant with Micah. Can Elnara see the two seem very familiar like lovers.

“Sorry, El if this hurts you. I as a friend you do not accept your betrayal because that's why I tell you this.” Whisper Vika while holding tightly Elnara's hand, intended to strengthen the friend.

Elnara forced herself to smile despite her heart screaming in pain. It turned out that what Elnara was afraid of happened as well.

"He's Mas Zayan's secretary, it just so happens that he's Mas Zayan's old friend so they're familiar like that." Elnara told me casually trying not to tell Vika the truth.

Vika snorted dejectedly, "what secretary almost every lunch day is the same boss and looks friendly."

Elnara gave a small smile, turning her attention to Zayan and Micah who were seen talking very familiarly.

"Why are you jealous? Already, let Mas Zayan with his secretary. I want to go back to college to collect assignments, I'm first."

Not yet Vika replied Elnara had already left the restaurant. Seeing Elnara's unusual behavior makes Vika more convinced there is something covered by her best friend.

Along the way to campus, Elnara could only cry alone. It turns out that it feels much more painful to see for yourself how the husband he loves actually looks friendly with ex-lovers.

Seeing this, Elnara wondered if she should give up now before getting hurt?

Elnara already wants to sleep the train a notification grabbing her attention. It was already 12pm and Elnara had to be kept awake by the message Micah had sent.

Can we meet tomorrow? There is something important I want to say.

"Moreover does he want to?" Elnara snorted angrily reading a message from Micah.

Micah's short message managed to keep Elnara awake until 3 a.m. Now she was sitting sweetly in the cafe waiting for Micah who had just arrived.

"What's up, Ma'am?" elnara asked without further ado as Micah sat in front of her.

"You don't like pleasantries. Then I'll be honest." Micah gave a small smile looking at Elnara who was looking at him sharply.

"Please" said Elnara.

"You know my relationship with Zayan has improved? I explained the reason for my departure and Zayan accepted it. I think this is a good thing for our relationship." Micah paused for a bit enjoying the pre-ordered drink.

"Then? Do I care about your relationship?" Elnara asked sinisterly, looking fed up with Micah's face.

"You should know that if my relationship with Zayan improves, it means we'll get back together."

"If Madam Micah forgets, Mas Zayan and I are married so Ma'am does not need to fantasize your relationship can be like before."

"Even if you're married, I'm sure Zayan will still vote for me. We have a lot of great memories together and I'm sure Zayan won't forget that. So, you better back off and let us get back together or you'll hurt yourself because Zayan will divorce you."

Elnara laughed, laughing at all Micah's words that sounded so shameful. Elnara wondered if Micah had no shame?

"Please do whatever you want. If Mbak believes Mas Zayan will choose Mbak prove. Look, I'm not going to back down just because of the cheap threat. I am the legitimate wife of Mas Zayan and Mbak is just an ex-lover, without telling a long story I am sure people will know who is evil here!"

Micah looked very angry because Elnara managed to return his words. Micah thought, Elnara is just a little girl who doesn't dare to fight him and would just give up.

"As much as you are, if you choose heartache please!" Micah immediately stood ready to go from before Elnara.

Elnara just silently looked at Micah who was getting away. Elnara is alone now. The girl sat pensively thinking about Micah's words.

True, Zayan and Micah had many fond memories together. Like not liking Elnara had to admit it. Elnara and Zayan never had good memories together. They just kept fighting and ended up crying Elnara.

"Right, we don't have any good memories." Elnara said softly while staring at the nanar screen of her cellphone which stored their wedding photos.

Elnara wanted to give up, but she didn't want Micah to win just like that. Elnara wants to make good memories with Zayan. He wanted to capture every beautiful moment they passed so that if one day they had to separate, at least Elnara could remember their togetherness later.

Pinta Elnara is very simple, but it will be difficult for Zayan to do. Somehow Elnara created those wonderful memories.
