Chapter 57 - Starting a New Life

Vika tells Elnara that she will get divorced from Okta. The first thing Elnara did was hug Vika tightly while crying.

Elnara did not ask what the reason for their divorce was because she knew the problem must have come from Okta. While Genta and Almira did not comment much because they knew one of the causes of the divorce of Okta and Vika.

Currently Elnara ushers Vika who intends to calm down after officially divorced. The woman who realized the new status wanted to vacation alone to her parents' hometown.

"Lo be careful over there yeah, don't forget to always call me. One more thing, don't stay there long." Said Elnara while hugging Vika tightly as if not willing to be abandoned by her best friend.

"Gue will return if it is calmer, but I can not guarantee to contact you. The bias in the village, the signal's pretty hard." Vika smiled trying to calm down Elnara who looked very sad.

"Please when you get back you're the old Vika. No matter how bad your relationship is with Mas Okta, I'm still your best friend."

Elnara's eyes glazed over, the girl trying to hold back her cries. Although Vika said it would only go a while, but still Elnara felt the loss of her best friend.

"Gue will return as your best friend, take care of yourself. Remember not to cry!" Once again Vika hugged Elnara then rushed away before her best friend cried.

"Lo must be happy and forget the breng*sek Okta. I'm sure someday b*d*h will be sorry!" muttered Elnara confidently while staring at the departure of Vika.

While Vika hopes she can soon forget about Okta and all the pain that the man gave her. Vika wants to start her new life by forgetting any memories related to Okta.

"Where are you from, El?" tanya Okta who happens to be at Elnara's parents' house.

Elnara only glanced at Okta without any intention of answering the man's question. Somehow Elnara felt hurt to Okta even though she still did not know the cause of Okta and Vika's divorce.

"El, I asked you. Where are you from?" ask Okta again.

Elnara turned to stare dislikefully at Okta who was still waiting for her answer. Not wanting to make a fuss at home, Elnara finally chose to give up.

"From the airport" answered Elnara briefly.

"Did you go to the airport?" asked Okta again who seemed dissatisfied with Elnara's answer.

"It's none of Mas's business" Elnara's remark succeeded in provoking Okta's emotions.

"El!" okta's reprimand made Elnara sigh in annoyance.

"Gantar Vika left, he wants to move to his parents' village." Elnara gave an answer with a slight exaggeration.

Okta looked shocked at the information, she was a little distrustful of what Elnara said.

"Honest answer, where's Vika?" okta's question successfully invites a cynical smile Elnara.

"Ngapain also means, there is no business!" Elnara said harshly, she stared dislikefully at Okta who kept forcing her.

"El, please answer honestly!" pinta Okta, of course, makes Elnara even more angry.

"El told you, it's none of Mas's business anymore. You have nothing to do but your ex-husband!" elnara exclaimed furiously, the girl even glared disliking at Okta.

Okta was about to press Elnara again when Almira who just came out of the room interrupted her speech first.

"What El said is true, you have no right to know anything about Vika!" almira's words left Okta with no other choice but to give in.

They were right, Okta had no right whatsoever to know Vika's life. They are officially divorced, but somehow Okta is not calm to hear Vika back to her parents' hometown.

Okta is indeed his cousin, but for Elnara Vika is not only a friend but also a brother. When Vika tells about her divorce, Elnara feels sick about it.

Elnara herself was not satisfied enough to see Okta's disappointed face. For Elnara this is just the beginning and she will help Vika make Okta realize that releasing Vika is a big mistake.

Vika has lived 2 days in the house of her late parents who had been occupied by her caregiver as a child. When Vika and Windi decide to go to town, they trustfully hand over the house to their nanny who is like family.

This old house always brings its own warmth to Vika. She always remembers her childhood with her parents and also Windi. A house with many wonderful memories with his little family.

Not long after Vika's childhood nanny named Mbah Sum came up with a warm fried banana.

"Breakfast, Ma'am." Mbah Sum thrust a warm fried banana into the face of Vika who looked dreamy.

Vika turned her head with her small smile, "thank you Mbah."

"What's early in the morning gini, Mommy? Still sad, huh?" tanya Mbah Sum who already knows about Vika's divorce.

Mbah Sum also felt sad to hear the news of Vika's divorce. Especially when Vika said she would vacation in the village until she felt calm. Mbah Sum felt that Vika was looking for a way to forget her sadness.

Vika shook her head slowly before replying, "just remember Vika's childhood."

Sister Sum smiled warmly then gently stroked Vika's hair.

It was like Vika was crying to see people who cared so much about her feelings. At least Vika felt lucky to have those who sincerely loved her.

Both of them were silent for a moment enjoying the atmosphere of a morning that was so peaceful and cool. The atmosphere that Vika could not enjoy while in the city.

When Vika wanted to eat fried bananas made by Mbah Sum, she suddenly felt very dizzy and nauseous. Vika then ran towards the bathroom and vomited out her entrails.

I don't know why Vika feels nauseous and dizzy like this. Before he felt fine, nothing strange. This nausea and dizziness that came with suddenly made him confused.

"Why, Ma'am? Sick mom?" tanya Mbah Sum panicked.

"Vika doesn't know Mbah, Vika feels nauseous and Vika's head is dizzy." Vika complains after finishing washing her pale-looking face.

"Mbak," call Mbak Sum weak.

"What's up, Mbah?" Vika asked weakly.

"This is just an assumption Mbah, maybe Mbah was wrong to guess."

"Why, Mbah?"

"It seems ... it looks like Ms. Vika ...."
