Chapter 28 - Follow the Game

Zayan and Okta had known who had helped Micah all this time. However, they deliberately pretended to know nothing. They wanted to follow the game that Micah had planned because now it was important to gather all the evidence.

The two were talking seriously in the living room when Elnara came while propping her phone. Message from a foreign number.

"He neror El and continue to urge El let Mas Zayan immediately make a decision." Reported Elnara after retrieving her phone.

"For a while let El go, we don't have enough evidence to bring him down." Okta spoke first before Zayan could answer.

"He must be happy because Mas Zayan can't do anything. The evidence he's got is pretty strong, I'm afraid he's getting bolder later."

"I've prepared everything, don't worry. I just need CCTV evidence of the person who drove me to the hotel. As soon as the evidence is in hand, it'll all be done." Zayan spoke so softly that he managed to calm Elnara's worries.

"What your husband says is right, you better focus on college. You take it easy, on campus no one will dare to disturb because Vika has overcome the problem." Okta said calmly, but it sounded clearly a proud tone when calling Vika had overcome the problem.

"OK, El will pray for evidence to be found soon. Mas Zayan don't forget to get enough rest, don't get sick." Elnara and Zayan looked at each other before finally smiling gently.

Okta who saw it certainly felt annoyed because it was ignored. Maybe they look at each other with love, but obviously there is a single Okta here.

"Please enter the room if you can't appreciate singles here!" okta exclaimed with annoyance which unfortunately only received laughter from Elnara

After disappearing for some time, Fian finally reappeared in front of Elnara. The man looked more confident than the last time Elnara saw him and like the main reason for his confidence was the news that was circulating.

Fian confidently invited Elnara to lunch together. It is difficult to be rejected by Elnara because she still considers Fian as her best friend. After getting permission from Zayan, Elnara finally agreed to have lunch with Fian at their restaurant.

"Sorry El, lately I've been busy at the office and just got time to take you to lunch together." Fian said regretfully, but the smile on his face never disappeared.

"No problem, I've been busy lately, too." Elnara replies casually while enjoying her lunch.

"I've heard the news, sorry I just found out and can't strengthen you." Fian said softly, a successful speech made Elnara not tasteful to eat.

"There's no big deal, it's just gossip that doesn't need to be thought about. You don't have to feel guilty, I don't even think about it."

Fian was not happy to hear Elnara's words so relaxed. To be honest, Fian wanted Elnara to be angry and hurt at her husband for him to have a chance to get the girl.

"Do you believe in your husband?" fian's question made Elnara even more upset.

"Of course, husbands and wives should trust each other."

"Why should I believe such cheap gossip over my husband? You may not understand because you are not married yet, but Fian in a husband and wife relationship trust is important!"

"There will be no smoke if there is no fire. You forgot the same photo I gave you? I'm sure they were in a relationship and now the woman is pregnant. I'm also sure the person who spread the news must have strong evidence."

"Why are you so sure, Fian? You and others don't know my husband very well, but you can be sure that my husband impregnates another woman."

"I'm talking about this because I care about you El, I don't want you to get hurt and keep getting hurt because of your husband!"

"That's enough, Fian! I think our conversation's quite up here. Thank you for lunch and I beg you not to meet me if you still want to discuss matters like this again!"

Elnara said firmly and immediately left Fian who could not do much. Fian was annoyed that Elnara was unaffected, but he was sure that his words would definitely be thought of.

Fian believes for a while Elnara will falter and begin to doubt her husband. When that happens, Fian will be the first person to become the backstop for Elnara. He would not waste that precious opportunity later.
