Chapter 40 - The Traitor

Regret always comes too late, that is how Okta is currently feeling. These few days he fought for the blessing of Windi which unfortunately ended in rejection.

Okta so dream, if only he had not messed up everything then surely he and Vika lived happily. Maybe they already have a child.

"Mas Okta!" vika's voice called out.

Okta turned her head and found Vika smiling at him. At the moment they are both struggling, but Okta feels that Vika should have to work hard because this is her own responsibility.

"Of course, Ma is getting more excited. I assume this is all a proper punishment for Mas."

"Sister Windi is a hard man that's why Vika can never refute his words." Vika recalls the times where she always spent time alone with Windi.

"Mas understands why Kak Windi is like that, he just wants the best for his sister. You take it easy, as hard as anything Kak Windi will still be conquered. Mas will fight for you while proving that Mas is really serious and will never hurt you again."

Vika smiled not knowing what to say. One of the reasons she hesitates to say their relationship to the family is this. Vika is very confident Windi will not forgive Okta easily.

Zayan and Elnara had just arrived home and immediately received a warm welcome from Genta and Almira.

"Where's your honeymoon?" almira asked as they sat down to relax in the living room.

"So when can Mami be carrying a grandson?" almira's question makes Elnara embarrassed.

"Just pray, may we be trusted as soon as possible." Zayan replied calmly, an answer that made Genta and Almira smile even more.

"Aamiin," they said at the same time. "You rest, you must be tired of long journeys."

Zayan and Elnara agreed, both saying goodbye before entering the room. Genta and Almira felt so relieved to see their daughter's household getting better. It seemed like giving Zayan a chance was the right decision.

In the room, Elnara immediately fell asleep because she was really tired. While Zayan was still awake, the man observed the innocent face of Elnara. New activities that make Zayan addicted, according to him, the innocent face of Elnara who was sleeping was adorable.

"You're beautiful, why have I only realized recently?" ask Zayan to himself.

Zayan activities were interrupted when he heard the notification of incoming messages from Elnara's phone. At first Zayan ignored, but somehow he felt a little curious as to who sent the message to his wife.

It turns out Zayan's curiosity paid off. The sender of the message was Fian who said he wanted to invite Elnara to meet. Apparently the man has not given up.
