Chapter 49 - Someone in the Past

6 months later.

Time passed quickly and now the age of Elnara content entered the 7th month. The Zayan and Elnara families are already preparing to hold a 7-monthly event.

All welcomed Elnara's pregnancy happily, except Linda. The middle-aged woman felt very envious when she saw how happy Zayan and Elnara were. He felt sorry for choosing another man and now he accepted his karma.

Zayan did not even turn his head at all in contrast to Fanya who occasionally stole glances out of curiosity.

Elnara's 7-monthly event has finished, the guests have gone home and now the remaining nuclear family lives. They gathered in the living room because there was something to talk about.

"You must be wondering who that woman was, right?" ask Doni to open the conversation.

Fanya simply nodded as she still did not understand what they wanted to talk about.

Doni sighed heavily before speaking, "she is your Mother."

Elnara hugged Fanya from the side when she saw her sister-in-law looking surprised. All this time Fanya did not know the figure of his mother, because for Fanya enough Zayan and Doni that he knew.

"Mother?" Fanya asked softly.

"The man must be grateful for being cared for by Mas and Dad. Two great men in his life. According to El, Fanya does not need her mother anymore because for her enough with Mas and Dad. She used to wonder where her mother was, why was she never there?"

Elnara paused for a moment to let Zayan understand what he meant.

"But after she knew the actual circumstances she must be grateful for having Mas and Dad in her life. There are many who are not as lucky as Fanya, maybe there are displaced or tortured life because they do not have complete parents. So, you don't have to feel guilty."

"Now she must be more grateful for having such a great sister-in-law like you." Zayan smiled warmly as he gently stroked Elnara's increasingly chubby cheeks.

"Life must be grateful, if not the same as we want it is quite grateful. There might be a better replacement."

"Mas pray that our children will grow up great because they are cared for by you. Hopefully no one will feel the bitterness of the past."
