Chapter 36 - Jealousy

Okta and Vika's relationship is getting better even though both of them still keep their relationship a secret. The same is the case with Zayan and Elnara's relationship that is getting better.

Zayan increasingly open himself and pay attention to Elnara which makes the wife always feel flowery. Elnara feels no remorse for giving Zayan a chance to mend their relationship.

Unfortunately, behind the happiness of Zayan and Elnara, there is certainly a wounded heart. Who else if not Fian. Various ways will Fian do to separate Zayan and Elnara, including inciting Zayan.

"Sore, Mr. Zayan." Sapa Fian graciously shifted to make room for Zayan to get into the elevator.

"Sore," replied Zayan flatly.

For a while the two kept quiet, until Fian opened his voice.

"Where is El, sir?" fian asked breaking the silence.

"He's good," Zayan replied briefly without bothering to turn his head towards Fian.

"Thank God, I'm a little worried considering El's a thinker." Fian's words made Zayan finally turn his head, looking at the man beside him.

"You know him very well, yes" said Zayan casually.

"Of course, I've known El since he was MABA and I was his senior, baby I had to go abroad so we lost contact."

Zayan smiled faintly before responding to Fian's remark, "You know that everyone will change?"

Fian paused for a moment before replying, "I mean Mr Zayan, El has changed?"

"How many years have you lost contact? A year, two years? I'm sure during that time Elnara started to change. For example, she was now a calm and mature woman."

Fian chuckled as if he was underestimating Zayan's remarks which he judged to be overconfident. For Fian, he was the one who knew the figure of Elnara more than Zayan.

"You've only been married for a year, I'm sure Mr. Zayan doesn't know El very well. Does Mr. Zayan know El's favorite food? Hobbies and El's goals? I'm sure even Mr. Zayan doesn't know such a little thing."

Now replace Zayan who laughs at Fian's words. The man's words sounded like a jealous teenager and Zayan obviously wouldn't be hooked on the game.

"I only want to say this once, whatever you know about Elnara it will not change the status of Elnara who is my legal wife. Now, you better back off because there will be no place in Elnara's heart except for me!"

Zayan looked down at Fian lightly then immediately left Fian who could only stare vengefully at Zayan.

Hearing Zayan's words earlier, Fian increasingly wanted to destroy Zayan and Elnara's relationship. For Fian only he is worthy of Elnara because of the sincere love he has.

Zayan is seen daydreaming when Elnara enters the room. Her husband thought of something seriously.

"Mas Zayan," call Elnara softly.

Zayan looked surprised to find Elnara sitting next to him.

"What's up, Mom?" ask Elnara.

"Something is troubling my mind" replied Zayan softly.

"We've been married for a year and to date we haven't spent much time together. It's all my fault for ignoring you."

Elnara smiled softly, choosing to quietly listen to what Zayan was about to say.

"Do you think it's too late for me to invite you to spend time together?"

Elnara was shocked to hear Zayan's question which she thought was too sudden.

"What do you mean Zayan?"

"Honeymoon, can we still?"

"Honeymoon's? Honeymoon?" elnara was not sure.

"Yes, you want to, right?"

"Why all of a sudden, Mom? Did someone say something unimportant?"

"No, I just think we should spend some time together. Besides next week my schedule is not crowded so we can travel for a few days."

Elnara did not know what to answer because for her this was too sudden. Too many changes to Zayan lately that make Elnara can not control her feelings.

"How's it?" ask Zayan again when Elnara has not answered his question.

"All right, El agrees. Maybe we can spend some time together and El's sure it's good for our relationship." Elnara's words finally made Zayan smile gently.

Zayan's soft smile made Elnara fall in love with her husband. Honestly, since the beginning of marriage Elnara does want to feel like a honeymoon like a newlywed in general.

Although it was too late, but for Elnara this was the best for their relationship. Maybe after this Zayan will be more able to express his feelings as Elnara has been doing all this time.
