Chapter 59 - Learning to Be Single

Many changes in Vika's life during these 2 weeks. After finding out she was pregnant, Vika spent more time contemplating. He was still thinking about the fate of his son.

Windi himself did not know what to do to encourage Vika because he knew exactly what his sister was feeling.

"Mbak Vika keeps daydreaming huh, Ma'am?" Mbah Sum who was secretly watching Vika stared in concern at the pregnant woman.

"It must be difficult to accept all this Mbah, Vika must think about the fate of her son later." Windi let out a tired sigh, lately too many things have happened to Vika.

"Keep how, Ma'am? Is it better to tell Vika about her ex-husband's pregnancy?"

"To temporarily leave it like this, Vika still needs time to accept this something. I'm sure Vika will make the best decision."

Mira comes to see Okta, there's something she wants to talk to the man about. After a long time they are out of touch because Mira chooses to release Okta for the sake of her family.

Okta herself did not find out more about Mira. When the woman returned the apartment she had lent Okta also did not ask. Looks like Okta's mind is only on Vika.

This is where they are, in a restaurant where there are quite a lot of visitors.

"So, what's up?" ask Okta without further ado.

"I ... um, you know that Om Genta has ever come to me?" Mira asked hesitantly, honestly she did not know where to start the conversation from.

"When? I don't know anything." Okta answered briefly looks once reluctant with this meeting.

"Before I return your apartment. Om Genta nawarin me to restore my family's efforts on condition that they should stay away from you. I accepted that condition because I knew we couldn't be together anymore. I also just found out that you're divorced, I'm afraid that one of the reasons for your divorce is me."

Okta could see regret in Mira's eyes. She knows Mira is a fine woman just for some reason what makes Genta and Almira never reset their relationship.

"No need to feel guilty, this is my choice and my ex-wife's. Maybe it's better for us than I keep hurting her feelings."

"Okta, maybe we can't unite. I honestly haven't been able to escape you, but I'm trying. You don't have to worry, I'm sure my feelings can fade with time. I hope we can be best friends, if need be I'll help you explain to your ex-wife."

Okta shook her head firmly, meeting Vika with Mira was definitely not a good idea. After all, any explanation would not change their status.

"No need, we just end our story here. I hope we can be good friends, whenever you need help I'll try to help you."

Just like Mira, she will also try to forget this feeling and start a new life. Without Mira and Vika.

Vika felt an excruciating pain in her stomach. His stomach was pierced by thousands of needles which were very painful.

With the rest of his energy he called out to Windi and Mbah Sum who had already rested in their room.

"Sir Windi ... Mbah Sum's!" call Vika to endure the pain of her stomach.

No one came because both Windi and Mbah Sum were already soundly asleep tying up by now it was already 2 in the morning.

"Sir Windi!" call Vika again.

Vika tried to get up and accidentally nudged the glass on the small table. The sound of the falling glass woke Windi and Mbah Sum. The two immediately ran towards Vika's room with anxious feelings.

"The vika? What's up, Deck?" windi asked worriedly.

Windi and Mbah Sum approached, they were surprised to see Vika who was sweating coldly with a pale face.

"Bah, please help bring Vika to the car. We have to get to the hospital!" Windi rushed to retrieve the car keys and together with Mbah Sum brought Vika who was so weak.

"Sir ... Sick-belly Vika is sick," Vika moans sick.

"Prophey, we're going to the hospital. You need to be strong, calm your mind try to catch your breath to ease the pain."

Windi drove the car quickly while occasionally instructing Vika to be calmer. Mbah Sum faithfully clasped Vika's hand trying to give strength to the woman.

Vika cried withstanding the pain that never subsided. Bad thoughts approached him. She was afraid of losing a child in her womb. The fear made things worse, Vika became even more sick and she almost fainted if there was no Mbah Sum watching.

"sickness ... Sis Windi, Mbah Sum please Vika. It hurts!"

Windi and Mbah Sum cried, they could not bear to see Vika who was in pain like this.
