Chapter 32 - The Limits of Patience

There is wisdom behind every event, such is the right sentence to describe Octa. The problems that Zayan and Elnara face actually make Okta and Vika closer.

The two spend more time together. The awkward relationship is now warm again, only Vika asks Okta to keep their relationship secret until Elnara's problem is solved.

Currently they are spending time together while reading the news that is warm without the knowledge of Elnara.

"Where? El've seen the news today?" okta asked when she saw the message Micah deliberately made to bring Elnara down.

"Last I called him he hasn't said anything, like I haven't seen today's news." Vika replied while busy looking at her phone that was displaying one of the gossip accounts.

"Mas called Zayan and asked him to calm down. Zayan is already very angry, but we have to wait for El's decision because it concerns himself."

"Mas's right, let El make the decision. We can't get too involved openly because that cunning woman must be getting more happy."

"You accompany El first, Mas the same Zayan will take care of the others. We have to keep cornering that woman and make the public hate her."

"Just take it easy, I've always been with El and helped him deal with this."

Okta smiled warmly as she gently stroked Vika's hair. How could he ever ignore a beautiful and kind girl like Vika?

"If so then take you to Papi's house. Once this matter is over, I hope we can announce this relationship."

Vika did not reply, but merely smiled gently. To be honest, Vika was still not ready to announce their relationship, the doubt was still there and stored neatly in the corner of her heart.

Elnara was shocked when she saw one of the gossip accounts reporting about her and Micah. What surprised Elnara even more was Micah who suddenly posted posts that slandered her.

Anger burned down Elnara's patience. All this time he was silent because he felt enough Zayan and Okta were acting, but when Micah carried the names of his parents instantly anger over his heart.

Without a second thought Elnara immediately contacted Zayan and asked her husband for permission.

"Mas, El asked permission to clear the names of Papi and Mammi" Elnara said directly when Zayan picked up the phone.

"Do what you want, but don't hurt yourself."

"Just take it easy, El will take care of himself. Thank you for letting El act on his own."

"I understand your feelings. Ask Vika to accompany you, I am calmer you are with her."

"El will call Vika, then El get ready first Mas."

Elnara disconnects the call and immediately prepares. He had already devised a plan to clear his parents' names.

Not long after Vika came and was immediately greeted by Elnara. The girl briefly told him what she wanted to do and Vika without asking immediately helped Elnara.

Elnara was ready to meet the reporter who was waiting outside the house. Accompanied by Vika, Elnara immediately conducts a short interview.

"Mbak eventually appeared in the public as well. How did Ms Elnara respond to the news that was circulating?"

Elnara gave a small smile before answering, the girl's face looked so calm.

"Actually I have left this matter to my husband and let my husband take care of it completely. I don't like camera shots because I'm not a public figure, but today's news made me decide to talk."

"Of course not!" Elnara answered firmly.

"Mbak Micah has said this is all slander from Mbak Elnara and Mbak's family. Please news know the real us?"

"I and my family are not the ones who would do such a trick. I reiterate, anyone who dares to bring my parents and family will disturb the consequences!"

"If all that wasn't true, what would you do?"

"Let my lawyer take care of this matter. I just relayed, the news about me and my parents that spread the photos of the affair is not true! I don't want to know and don't want to interfere with the woman's past!"

"So Ma'am Elnara wants to take this matter to the legal track?"

"How did Ms Elnara respond to Mbak's cheating husband?"

No questions were answered by Elnara. The girl immediately went inside the house avoiding the reporters who still continued to forcefully ask questions.

Inside the house, Elnara immediately called the family trust lawyer. He did not playfully bring this matter into the path of the law.

"Sir, please take care of the news circulating immediately. Clear the names of Papi and Mami, if there is more evidence you can take the case to the legal track. I leave it all together Father and team."

Such was the resolute attitude of Elnara who declined from Almira. The girl will not mess with people who have tarnished the good name of both parents.
