Chapter 60 - Who Has Been Leaving

Okta woke up from her sleep, suddenly an uncomfortable feeling infiltrated her heart. He did not know what was really going on, right now his mind was only on Vika.

Without thinking, Okta tried to contact Vika hoping that his ex-wife would answer her call. Unfortunately, despite trying many times Vika still did not answer his call.

"I beg you to answer my phone Vika," muttered Okta lirih.

As if hearing Okta's shrill request not long the man's phone call was answered.

"Hello, Vika. I'm sorry I called you at night, but I'm just worried about you." Okta was not aware that her voice sounded so excited that she did not realize who was answering her phone.

"Okta," called a familiar voice for Okta.

"Sir Windi?" Okta looked surprised to hear Windi's cold voice.

"Don't call Vika again. Your relationship ends when the judge knocks the hammer, so just get there. Whatever happened to Vika is none of your business and vice versa."

Okta was stunned for a moment, she was quite surprised to hear Windi's words. Moreover, it was only this time that he heard Windi's voice that was so cold.

Okta was already preparing to plead with Windi when her ex-sister-in-law first turned off the call. Next Vika phone number could not be reached, it seems Windi blocked the number.

Okta is getting worried. The uncomfortable feeling made him want to not want to contact Elnara.

"Why, Mas? If Mas forgets it's two in the morning," Elnara's voice rattled, indicating that the girl woke up.

"Sorry, I'm bothering you, I'm just dizzy again. Don't know why Mas was worried about Vika, Mas tried to contact her."

Elnara sighed hearing Okta's voice sounding very desperate.

"Keep Vika said what?"

"It wasn't Vika who answered her call, it was Kak Windi. Sis Windi said Mas should not contact Vika again and that made Mas increasingly worried that Kak Windi's voice was like crying."

"Let El try to contact Vika or Sister Windi. Mas just wait for news from El, maybe Kak Windi just does not want Mas contact Vika again."

"All right, wait for news from you."

The call was closed and Okta had to be patient waiting for news from Elnara. In Okta's heart hope that hopefully nothing bad happens to Vika.

The silence that stifled Vika's chest, until unconsciously her tears flowed. There were no words that could describe how she felt now.

When he lost his parents, he cried and asked God to return his parents. Now he feels the same way again, losing.

God, what's my fault for having a trial like this. I haven't even seen him and accepted his presence.

Vika was full of sadness. Her divorce has not dried up and now she has to accept the fact that she has to lose her child.

Windi who had just entered immediately approached and hugged Vika tightly. As an older brother of course Windi was very sad to see how his younger brother was injured.

"Sister, why did Vika have to go through all this?" Vika cries in Windi's arms.

"Ikhlas yes, we face this together. There's Brother and Mbah Sum who's going to nemenin Vika." Windi cried, feeling how painful Vika was.

"Maybe it's God's punishment because Vika still can't accept it. Vika is too evil sister so God punishes Vika like this."

"No Deck, you're Big Brother's best brother. Believe that this is the best path God has given us. You must be strong to face all this."

The two cried together, feeling the pain of losing for the umpteenth time. Maybe this is what's best for Vika.

Maybe God gave her this path so she would no longer be in touch with Octa. Vika must live this destiny sincerely though very painful.

"Sister, can Vika ask for help?" Vika asked after her crying started to subside.

There were important things he had to do before it was too late. Important things that will determine his future.

"What's wrong? Brother must help you," said Windi sincerely.

"Please don't tell this to Mas Okta or El. Vika just wants to keep this alone, Mas Okta doesn't need to know how sick Vika is. For El, Vika does not want him to be sad. Whisper, Brother?"

Windi smiled slightly before replying, "yes this is what's best for you."

This is the biggest secret that Vika keeps from Okta. The secret that will lead him to another destiny. Vika never knew that what happened today would bring new wounds to the people she cared about.
