Chapter 45 - Don't Play

Zayan was very worried because Elnara did not give any news. His feelings were uneasy, many frightening shadows were constantly spinning in his head.

Okta who saw that could only sigh. He was equally worried, but he had to try to calm down because there were 2 people who currently needed his attention, Zayan and Vika.

"You think there's someone who holds a grudge against El?" ask Okta to Vika.

"No Mas, El doesn't get along too much with the others because he's closed. El didn't tell me anything either, it all looked ordinary." Vika replied while remembering what recently happened to Elnara.

Zayan looked pensive for a moment, something was stirring his mind. Yes, Zayan recalls 2 days ago Elnara asked permission to meet someone at a restaurant near her campus.

"You know El met someone two days ago?" zayan asked Vika who looked confused.

"No Mas, two days ago Vika was absent so Vika did not know anything." Vika's reply made Zayan rush to contact her confidant.

"Please check the CCTV two days ago at a restaurant near my wife's campus. Check one by one, if you meet send the CCTV to me. Soon!" zayan orders his confidantes to carry out the task immediately.

"We wait until CCTV two days ago meets, I'm sure there's something El's been hiding lately" Zayan told Okta and Vika, who could only nod in agreement.

It didn't take long until Zayan's confidants sent CCTVs where Elnara was seen.

The three looked at the CCTV with a feeling of uncertainty, they hoped to find a bright spot.

On CCTV in front of the restaurant, Elnara entered the restaurant alone. Zayan moved on the second CCTV, inside a restaurant that looked crowded with visitors.

Zayan's heart stopped coming close when he saw the woman who approached Elnara. She is Linda, Zayan's real mother.

"Zayan, her?" Okta looked at Zayan's hardened face. As a friend of course Okta knows who the figure of the woman on the CCTV.

"Who is he, Mas?" vika asks Okta, who unfortunately is not answered by the man.

Zayan's hands clenched tightly, visibly holding back emotions. Without much to say, Zayan returned to contact his trusted person.

"Find out the woman on the CCTV, her name is Linda. Find out where he is now!" zayan's orders sounded so cold.

Until here Vika quite understands that the woman named Linda has a bad relationship with Zayan.

Not long after Zayan's confidants contacted the man again. Zayan saw a simple residential address, he was sure the woman was there and was very much waiting for her arrival.

Now everything seems clear, Linda made Elnara ask if Zayan would want to see her mother. Zayan believes there is something Linda said to disturb the peace of Elnara.

"I go first, please don't say anything to Father and Fanya," Zayan pinta told Okta who nodded in understanding the circumstances.

Okta believes the matter will be big if Linda actually kidnaps Elnara. Zayan will definitely not let go of the woman easily, especially if Doni finds out about this.

Zayan arrives in front of a simple house that he believes is where Linda lives. Without further ado Zayan immediately knocked on the door of the house impatiently. There was Linda's voice saying 'intermittent'.

Not long after Linda's figure opened the door and stood frozen staring at Zayan's face which exuded an aura of hostility.

"Where's my wife?" ask Zayan directly.

"Zayan, what do you mean? I don't know what you mean, son." Said Linda who took a step closer to Zayan, unfortunately the man immediately retreated away from Linda.

"You're hiding my wife, aren't you? Now give me back my wife or do something reckless!" threaten Zayan with a cold tone.

"Mom didn't hide your wife, son."

"I don't believe it! Quickly tell me where Elnara is? Tell me honestly or I'm completely out of control!"

"But I don't know anything, I didn't even meet your wife! It's true that I went to see him for help in order to meet you, but your wife refused."

"I can't believe you hid my wife! Tell me where he is!"

"It's up to you to believe it or not, but I'll emphasize once again that I'm not hiding your wife! I don't know anything!"

"Well if you're very sure of what you're saying, but if you're proven to be involved in this. I'll make sure you get a more cruel reply. I'm the one who'll make your life hell!"

Zayan immediately stepped away leaving Linda looking very surprised. Linda didn't expect Zayan to be this rough on her.

Zayan returned to his car with a feeling of anxiety. He doesn't know how to find Elnara. If Linda really wasn't involved, then who was the mastermind behind Elnara's disappearance?
