Chapter 16 - The Time Left

Elnara tries to forget her disappointment when Zayan doesn't even remember her birthday. There is time, Elnara just wants to enjoy time with Zayan.

It didn't matter if he was disappointed at the moment, the most important thing was to make the most of the time. To spend the rest of the time, Elara plans to invite Zayan for a vacation together.

"Mas Zayan can't take a sudden leave?" elnara asked as the two were having dinner together.

"What's wrong?" Zayan asked back, now the man looked more relaxed.

"El wants to take both holidays. As long as we don't have a vacation together, maybe this will be our first and last vacation."

Zayan was silent, the man seemed to be thinking seriously. Probably considering Elnara's proposal.

"I looked at the schedule first, it seemed like there was three or four days' worth of blank time." that simple answer was able to make Elnara smile widely.

"Please Mas" said Elnara with a happy smile.

"Where are you going on vacation?"

"How about Labuan Bajo?"

"May, I'll have tickets and hotels ready so you stay packing."

Elnara nodded vigorously, the beautiful holiday she had imagined all this time was now in plain sight. Elnara hopes everything goes well and hopefully Micah doesn't interrupt their vacation.

Actually there is something that disturbs Zayan's mind, he felt surprised because Elnara did not even say thank you for the gift she gave. Zayan thought maybe Elnara didn't like the bracelet.

Precisely Elnara asked him for a vacation together instead of discussing the gift he gave, this is very strange because Zayan knows for sure as small as the goods given Elnara must appreciate it very much.

This misunderstanding will continue because both of them are equally reluctant to open their voices. They are too busy keeping their individual feelings to keep their egos from getting hurt.

Although only a short vacation, but Elnara really enjoyed it. Zayan plays like a real husband, very considerate and so gentle. Honestly speaking, Elnara was completely lulled by Zayan, wondering if she could hope that their marriage would last.

Many moments they capture, even Zayan decided to live in the same room. Although nothing happened, still Elnara felt increasingly drifting with Zayan's treatment.

More fortunate, there was no Micah or anyone who bothered the two. Zayan himself decided to turn off their phones in order to enjoy the holiday without interruption.

"Ms, thank you for this short vacation." Elnara said sincerely as they were already on their way home.

"You enjoying it?" ask Zayan gently.

"Well, look at Mas we have a lot of photos together. If we separate later I'm happy because there are memories of both of us."

Elnara's words received no response from Zayan. The man looked dreamy, not thinking what. While Elnara felt sad because it seemed like they were going to completely separate. Elnara does not want them to separate, but she must not continue to be selfish by forcing Zayan to stick to this futureless relationship.

"Sleep, our journey is still far away." Zayan switched the conversation, the man forced Elnara to sleep leaning against him.

A very small act that touched Elnara's little heart. It felt like Elnara was stopping time so that she could absorb every moment of her safety with Zayan.

Quietly Zayan let out a tired sigh, he did not know what the end of their marriage was like. Zayan cannot deny that Elnara has managed to make him comfortable, but there are many questions that Zayan has to ask to continue this marriage or end it.

Fian secretly finds out about Elnara's relationship with her husband who turns out to be the boss at the company she works for. From there Fian judged Zayan to be cheating on him with his secretary.

Fian loves Elnara sincerely which is why he doesn't want Elnara to stick with a guy like Zayan. Elnara cannot be hurt and so she decides to tell Okta about Zayan's affair.

"It's all the pictures, Bang." Fian confidently handed over the photos of Zayan and Micah who often went both ways.

Okta took one of the photos and looked at it without interest. Okta already knew this because she had a spy in the Zayan family-owned company.

"What are these photos for? You know he's your boss and what you're doing is risky." Okta said calmly as she handed back the photos given by Fian.

"Gue just doesn't want El to get hurt by Bang and lo as her brother certainly doesn't want her to be hurt constantly with her husband."

"Fian, I've known you for a long time and for that I appreciate your intentions. Unfortunately, neither I nor I have the right to interfere. We are outsiders and have no rights in our relationship. I think her brother El is obviously angry, but as long as El is still able to survive it's her business."

Fian sighed for a moment, looking hesitant to say his heart.

"That I-" Fian's speech was cut off when Okta gave him a sign to stop talking.

"Gue knows you're still in love with El, but you have to remember the limits. She's somebody's wife and you can't keep having a taste for El."

"Gue is really in love with El, I'm sincere and I can't spare him."

Okta snorted annoyedly at Fian's love statement which sounded very shameless.

"Bury your feelings before you get more hurt later. You must know the limits, do not be too reckless or you own responsibility as a result!"

"No Bang, I'll keep fighting for El. I beg your permission to be close to El, I'll be happy for him."

Okta looked increasingly angry at Fian's outrageous remarks. Fian was like a man with no self-esteem.

"Lo crazy! Do you realize what you are talking about? You asked for my permission when you clearly knew she still had a husband!" Okta said angrily no matter the people who started to notice them.

"Sorry Bang, but I will not give up. I'm gonna fight to melt El's heart."

"Gue's sick of you, mending you go from in front of me! Really brazen!" Okta bellowed furiously to drive Fian away from him immediately.

Fian who knew could not melt Okta's heart immediately left. He'll find another way for Okta to help him. For Fian, Elnara did not deserve to be with Zayan because the man did not seem to love Elnara and instead had an affair.

Okta himself can only stroke the chest, trying to be patient. He also did not want Elnara to be hurt but the way Fian did was clearly wrong. In fact, Okta wanted to match Elnara with Fian if her sister separated later. However, what Fian did today managed to get Okta to cross his name from the list of men who are worthy of Elnara.
