Chapter 22 - The Struggle

After hearing sharp words from Fanya, Zayan finally realized that maybe this is the time Elnara left him.

Elnara is beautiful and smart, and has a strong allure that makes it easy for the girl to find a replacement for Zayan. Thinking about the bad possibility, of course Zayan did not accept and felt hot.

In order to prevent all the bad possibilities that will happen at his wedding, Zayan threw away all his prestige and met Genta.

"So, what was the most important thing that made young master Zayan come here?" the question that meant the innuendo came from Genta.

"Sorry to interrupt Papi's precious time." Zayan immediately took a sitting position in front of Genta, without even being invited by the owner of the room.

"I don't want to talk, so please tell me what you want to say." Genta leaned quietly in his chair while raising an intimidating gaze for Zayan.

"Zayan please go with Papi, please help Zayan to explain to Elnara. Zayan knows that Zayan has been wrong all along, but please give Zayan one more chance."

Zayan no longer cared about his pride, now for him the most important thing was the opportunity to improve. Zayan's only hope is Genta because Almira hates him.

"What can you offer for a valuable opportunity? Look Zayan, my daughter is a precious gem and you've hurt her like that. You think I don't know what you've been doing to my daughter."

Genta's voice sounded extremely cold, the man showed his true attitude. Genta is a man who is notoriously cold and powerful, and can do anything for the people he cares about.

"Zayan knew it was Papi, now Zayan regretted having wasted that precious opportunity. Zayan will give all that Zayan has to Elnara and promise never to hurt her again."

Genta paused for a moment, as if he was considering what decision he would take.

"I'd be happy for you to explain what happened to El, but all the decisions are in El's hands and you can't force him."

Finally after considerable consideration Genta gave Zayan his freedom. All things Genta has considered well. He'll act alone if Zayan comes back to hurt Elnara.

"Thank you Pi, Zayan will use this opportunity well." Zayan moved quickly, the man immediately crucified Genta and said goodbye to Elnara.

On the other hand, Almira already knew what was really going on and she purposely let the "misunderstanding" continue. He wanted to see what Zayan's struggle was like in convincing Elnara.

Almira will just keep a quiet watch and she will move if something she doesn't like happens. For Micah's business he'll teach the woman a lesson later.

"Immediately find out more about that Micah woman!" Almira gives orders to his men over the phone because he doesn't want Genta to be suspicious.

For a while Almira would look for plenty of evidence and continue to pry into Micah's past. When the time comes he will detonate the bomb with his own hands.

Zayan again messed up his work schedule because in order to meet Elnara who was on campus. Zayan had met Okta and explained what happened and told her friend about the opportunity given by Genta.

"Gue called El and said he was waiting for him in front of campus. You take my car first, I'll take Vika." After giving directions Okta immediately got out of the car and hid.

Zayan only follows Okta's directions because he believes there is something else the man is planning. Not long before Elnara was seen coming out of the campus and now walking towards Okta's car that Zayan borrowed.

"Sorry El lama, earlier Vika-" Elnara's speech stopped when she saw that it was not Okta who was sitting in the driver's seat, but Zayan.

The man looked at Elnara deeply, making the wife misbehave. Unfortunately, it didn't last long when Elnara realized something else.

"You can't go anywhere Elnara until you hear my explanation!" Zayan quickly locks the car door before Elnara manages to open it.

"You're all right, Mas, El told me we're married and El won't bother Mas Zayan anymore! You don't have to explain anything because what happened that day was clear!" Elnara said angrily without the slightest fear.

"I'll listen to you this time. All just misunderstanding, I chose you Elnara. My feelings for you have changed, and I don't even realize when I'm getting comfortable with you."

Elnara fell silent, distrusting with the sweet words from Zayan. During this time her husband never showed any attitude that made her believe.

"You know why I easily accept your ridiculous request? All because I'm too cowardly to say that I want to be close to you."

"What about Micah? Mas has a relationship with him and El does not want to be a barrier to Mas Zayan's happiness."

"I have nothing to do with Micah other than bosses and secretaries. Our relationship ended many years ago, I was kind to her because I felt sorry for the bitter experience she went through."

All too shocking for Elnara, all this time she thought Zayan and Micah's relationship was more than just boss and secretary. They seemed familiar and seemed to care for each other because that's why Elnara thought the two were back to live love.

"El doesn't know what to do, it's too shocking for El." Elnara whispered softly, throwing her gaze out the window.

"I know, but please give me a chance to fix what I've broken. I don't want our relationship to end, I've even asked Papi and Okta for permission to give me a chance."

Zayan's shocking confession back to Elnara. A famous Zayan has a high ego pleading for the sake of mending their relationship.

"El was afraid of getting hurt and what happened that night was enough to add to the list of wounds that Mas gave."

"I know and I'm sorry for that. I will be honest with you, whatever you want to ask I will answer honestly. Including what didn't make me come that night."

Elnara looked at Zayan doubtfully, as if Zayan had no idea what message Micah was sending instead. Should Elnara give Zayan a chance and mend their relationship? To be honest, Elnara still loves the man and she doesn't want to part.
