Chapter 51 - Early Start (Octa & Vika)

Okta had left 1 hour ago leaving Vika sitting contemplating alone. Vika's memory drifts, narrating her at the beginning of her story with Okta.

Vika wondered if she had been unselfish and loved Okta too much, maybe they wouldn't feel hurt like this. If only he could repeat the time, perhaps that day he would not have taken the wrong step.

4 Years ago.

Vika and Elnara have just celebrated their graduation together. They are so close that they often spend time together.

Vika is an orphan girl who only lives together with her older sister named Windi. Windi who always served out of town made Vika often stay at Elnara's house.

For a moment Vika was silent, the girl looked shocked to hear Okta's invitation. Vika quickly calmed down, she was unwilling to waste this step opportunity.

"Yuk, to the back garden." Take Okta who immediately walk first to the back garden.

The afternoon sky was still bright, the house looked quiet because Genta and Almira were outside the city. This opportunity Okta uses to share the burden of mind and heart on Vika who somehow believes she can keep a secret.

"You know I already have a fiancee?" okta's question makes Vika realize that the feeling she has is wrong.

"We plan to get married later this year. I was even ready to propose to him, but it's all messed up."

Vika turned her head in shock, she did not know about this because Elnara had not told her anything yet.

"You how's Mas?" ask Vika.

"He disappeared without news. Two months ago I tried to contact him, but the results were nil. Neither can his parents be contacted."

"Mas has come to Mas's fiancee's house?"

"It turns out that his house was sold three months ago. It's all really sudden, I'm desperately looking for him."

"Mas asked Papi for help? Maybe Papi can help Mas" suggested Vika.

"Vika, what's your answer?" ask Genta who realizes that Vika has not given any answer.

The Vika everyone was looking at was getting more and more confused. On one hand Vika wants to accept Okta's proposal because of the love she has, on the other hand Vika remembers Elnara's remarks against their relationship. Elnara doesn't want Vika to be a runaway. Elnara did not want Vika to be hurt in the end.

Vika took a slow breath before answering quietly.

"Vika accepted Mas Okta's proposal." Vika replied with a bow in order to avoid Elnara's sharp gaze.

Vika doesn't know if her decision is right or wrong, but one thing she wants to believe is that she should try. As the time said to Okta, he did not want to regret for wasting the opportunity.

With the belief that love can grow because Vika is accustomed to accepting Okta's proposal. The girl is sure that one day Okta will return her love.
