“Lately you've been looking really cheerful, Selena. Did something good happen?” Felix propped up his chin, looking at Selena who was sitting next to him.
“Eh? I'm cheerful?” Selena pointed at herself with a confused look.
Indeed, the past week, after attending Ocean's friend's wedding, Selena's mood has gotten really good. No more muttering because you have to cook and clean the house early in the morning, even when delivering lunch to the Ocean company and cooking again in the afternoon. Selena began to enjoy it, eager to learn new recipes, especially when the lunch box brought to Ocean always returned without rest.
“Show Ceria, Felix.” Selena shook her hand. “Look, the nails I treated are dying, so it's like this. Cleaning the house, cooking ... Ocean would be furious if I didn't do it right. He's like the most annoying devil.”
In contrast to her words, Selena's face looks radiant when talking about her daily activities and Ocean. It made Felix fold his lips, asking doubtfully, “You ... uh, you've no taste in that man, have you?”
Felix's question made Selena gasp for a moment, to then answer while laughing, “What are you talking about? Of course not. How could I come back to like the smart-ass Ocean, the tormentor of others, and that jerk. Ah, I'm so upset that I remember treating him to me.”
Felix breathed a sigh of relief, rubbing Selena's hair. “Thank God. I was worried that your feelings would return to remembering how you used to like her so much, Selena.”
Selena laughed dryly in response. He just wanted to pick up a tissue when the corner of his eye caught a clock on the wall. Selena flinched, hurriedly picked up her bag, and rushed out of Felix's apartment.
“Hey, what's up, Selena?” felix is confused.
“Now Ocean is coming home from work, I have to cook for him. I also have an invitation to Amara's birthday party later. I'm leaving first, Felix. Bye!”
The sound of the door thumping shut left silence in the luxurious apartment. Felix was dumbstruck in his seat, his gaze still on the door, but his mind was far away. An uneasy feeling began to envelop his heart.
She's scared .. so scared of losing Selena.

“Hey, you're really coming, ‘kan, Ocean?”
The phone stuck to Selena's ear. He's still in the car, the noise out there doesn't bother him too much.
“My work is almost done, Selena. I'll catch up with you soon.”
The voice of Ocean across there was heard interspersed by the sound of the paper behind. Looks like Ocean's still busy with the files.
“Good. I'll go in first then.”
The phone connection was cut off along with Selena's hand sliding the car door. As there was a noiseless command, the light flashes from the camera of the reporter scrambled to take pictures, taking as many pictures as possible. Selena threw a kindly graceful smile in return, waving warm hands.
“You came alone, Selena? Where is your husband?” One of the young reporters asked, raising his voice to beat the fanfare.
“Ocean still have work in the office. Will soon arrive here.” Selena answered him with a smile that was still clearly imprinted on her face.
“We heard you guys got married for matchmaking, how did your husband behave after marriage? Are you happy?” The turn of the reporter who looked senior, middle-aged, held out the voice recorder to Selena's front. All the reporters waited for Selena's reply enthusiastically.
Selena's gaze glared at the crowd of reporters, towards the cameras that were outstretched, as if looking at Ocean among the crowd. What Selena said was not only a boast to save face, but really from her heart.
Liam comes to pave the way for Selena before the ink jars get louder and throw another question. While smiling politely, Selena stepped into the hotel where the birthday party of one of her best friends who also works as an actress, Amara Oriana.
Selena tried to enjoy the party, chatting with other friends, but she could not lie to herself that her gaze was more on the entrance. Ocean is not coming.
An hour passed and Ocean was still without his nose. Selena tries to reach him, only to hear the long connection tone that never ends. Ocean didn't pick up the phone.
Two more hours passed very slowly. Selena's friends begin to wonder about Ocean's delay. Selena answered him with a weak head. He doesn't know either.
Until all the invited guests leave the party, leaving only Selena and Amara, Ocean is still nowhere to be seen. Amara patted Selena's shoulder gently, trying to calm down.
Another hour that feels crawling. Selena was still faithfully sitting on one of the chairs. The janitors passed by to clean up the rest of the party. Amara was taking care of something in the other room.
Selena's tears rolled down. As long as he waited, Ocean would not come. Because from the beginning, Selena was never important in her life.

A black sedan slid towards the parking lot of a famous hotel, to then squeak the tires that collided with the floor sounded pained in the ears. Ocean hurriedly got out of his car, running to where Amara Oriana's birthday party was.
In the great hall of the hotel, Ocean found only a dimly lit room, the headlights had been turned off. Let alone the party still going on, even the janitor has left. The party is really over. There's nothing else Ocean can do there.
Picking up the phone in her pants pocket, Ocean tries to contact Selena for the umpteenth time, and again only the voice of the operator greets her. Ocean ruffled his hair, scraped hard, then headed back to his car. The sedan skied quickly, joining other vehicles that were crawling on the big road.
Twenty minutes, Ocean arrived at his house that looked bleak as only the headlights were turned on. Hurriedly she stepped in, calling Selena's name many times. There's no answer. Even in her room and all corners of the house, Selena is not there. He hasn't come home yet.
Ocean rubbed his face, feeling a great worry. With a chaotic appearance, Ocean brought his feet out of the house, pacing around the courtyard.
The cold air was no longer a problem for him. Many times Ocean gazed into the street in front of the house, only to find dark as far as the eye could see. Selena is not yet seen.
Almost two hours Ocean there, heard the roar of the car from a distance, for then the red car docked to his yard.
Ocean had not yet gotten close, Felix got down from the back door with Selena on his back.
Selena's condition looks terrible. His eyes closed, the smell of alcohol running out. He's drunk hard.
“Sel—”
Ocean was just about to help Felix, when the man spoke in a cold tone, “No need, Ocean. I myself will bring my lover into.”
