The white walls and the slow drip of the infusion became a dull object for Olivia, who was half-lying in a hospital bed. Two policemen were sitting on a sofa not far from him, with a haggard-looking face and thick hanging eye bags. They seem to have been sleep deprived for a few days.
Already many times Olivia glanced at the white door that had been fluttering, someone she was waiting for did not reveal the trunk of her nose.
The clattering of steps that sounded increasingly clear made Olivia gasp, immediately focusing her gaze on the small glass at the entrance of the treatment room. Two seconds, the door was pushed open, revealing a figure that made a wide smile rise Olivia's face.
“O—cean.”
The sparkle in Olivia's eyes in a split second vanished just like that when she saw Selena walking behind the Ocean, coming into the room. In contrast to Olivia, the two policemen seemed excited, their sleepiness disappearing instantly. Their task will finally be completed in a moment.
“How are you doing, Olivia?” Selena asked, although the warm tone was not at all reflected in her voice.
“Pretty good, thanks to Ocean.” Olivia smilingly looked at Ocean, recalling the memories of his heroic actions just a moment ago. “Ah, how about your arm, Ocean? Doesn't it need further treatment?”
Highlight worries Olivia makes Selena glance at Ocean cynically, wondering why the man so easily takes the heart of others. Olivia's attitude is like hinting at a second volume war against her.
“Not a big problem. Soon it will be cured with medicine from doctor.”
“Mana can be so—”
“Shouldn't the process of giving his testimony begin now, Mr Police? My husband should get some rest immediately.” Selena cuts fast, a little sewot.
The two policemen nodded, pulling the chair beside Olivia's bed while carrying a note and a recording device. “Because Sister Olivia only wants to be accompanied by Mr Ocean, Miss Selena can you come out for a while for the confidentiality of the investigation?”
Both of Selena's eyebrows furrowed before she replied, “I'm the first witness of the case, sir. It is likely that my testimony will be a little complement to Olivia's description. Isn't my presence here quite necessary?”
One of the policemen looked at Olivia, asking, “How is Sister Olivia?”
Staring alternately at Ocean and Selena for a moment, Olivia nodded softly, half-heartedly.
“Good, we start from the first and most important question. Does Sister Olivia recognize the person who attacked you?” The more senior-looking policeman asked, after putting the recording device next to Olivia.
Olivia was silent for a moment. His jaw hardened, along with his hand gripping the blanket. The horrible incident flashed back in his mind. “Yes .... The man who attacked me was called David Tan. That night he barged in while I was in the bathroom.”
“What is your relationship with David Tan?”
The angry expression faded as Olivia's head slowly lowered. His hands were pinning the stitching line on the blanket, seen weighing something. “I ... I was David Tan's dark lover for the past year. The day before the incident, I decided to end my relationship because I felt so guilty about my wife. But he refused from the beginning, not at all accepting. What I didn't expect, he would come to me to the bathroom, start a fight, and end up with him hitting me with a block of wood then stabbing me in the stomach with a knife.”
“Address .... Is there anything that can prove it?”
Olivia raised her face as Selena held out the script of the film with the name ‘Olivia Daisy’ listed in front of her. She blinked her eyes, confused as to how the script could be in Selena's hands.
“We're switched, Olivia. I didn't realize it before.” As if she could see the confusion, Selena willingly explained briefly. He also had a grudge against David who had put him in a difficult position, so helping out like this made him feel like he was fighting with the man.
Seeing a bright glimmer of light, Olivia accepted the script, smiling. Now he will be completely free from the man and build a new life.
“Thank you, Selena.” Olivia started opening the script, stopped on page 88, picked up something there. “The theater ticket is on behalf of me and David Tan because the organizers require the prospective audience to include their respective names on the ticket. One month ago, I booked this ticket together with David, his name was also listed in the theater system. You can check it there.”
And Ocean quietly exhaled a sigh of relief as he glanced at Selena. His mission is really over now.

“Dishwashing, washing clothes, brushing the bathroom .. ah, damn, why there are so many that I have not done.” Selena complains while throwing a washcloth at the table. His back was already sore because it had just mopped the entire floor of the house.
Shrugged Selena walked towards the bathroom on the west side, ready to go back to war with the bathroom brush, when her tail caught something in front of the television.
With almost noiseless steps, Selena approached, finding Ocean sleeping on her back on the sofa. A thick document was oozed over her chest, and the laptop was still on, displaying a row of numbers that Selena did not understand at all.
After sighing, Selena took the documents carefully so as not to wake Ocean, then turned off her laptop. He also took out a thin blanket, enveloping the Ocean until it reached the stomach.
At the end of his movement justifying the blanket, Selena momentarily looked at the peaceful face of Ocean that dissolved in a dream. No more annoying expressions there, nor scolding that makes deaf ears. Ocean seemed to be dreaming beautifully, venting fatigue through fantasy in the subconscious.
The past few days, Ocean was even busier than Selena who got caught up in the case, doing everything Selena couldn't do. His work in the office must have piled up, especially Ocean had to be allowed not to enter work several times. Selena could imagine how tired her body and mind were.
Slowly Selena lowered her legs, crouched down, until her height was parallel to Ocean. This soothing silence brought peace to Selena as she swept her gaze across Ocean's face, as if to keep the face in a special space in her mind.
“Ocean Arkananta .. the Perfect Casanova sucks, you're acting too far this time. As always, you're acting pretty cool, feeling the smartest in the world, and boasting your martial skills.” Selena said softly, smiling faintly. “But thank you, Ocean. Thank you for staying by my side and taking care of me as if I am important in your life. You make me owe you a lot, without knowing how I can pay for it.”
Selena never expected if her relationship with Ocean would be so far. Selena thought, in this marriage, she would be like an independent woman, doing everything by herself as if she had no place to ask for help. Who could have thought that the man who was famous for being stupid with all those things that did not benefit him, acted as if he was really Selena's husband, doing crazy things that even put his own safety at risk.
Not wanting to dissolve for too long in her own thoughts, Selena stood up. His job is waiting. Before Ocean woke up, he already had to finish everything or would be hit by a spicy spray.
Just a step Selena walked, she gasped when she felt her wrist being pulled up to make her stagger, before finally sitting next to Ocean. Selena's eyes puffed up when she found Ocean grinning, still in the same sleeping position.
“Valice, Selena. Try saying when I'm opening my eyes like now.”
