Mrs. Crazy And Mr. Perfects

Mrs. Crazy And Mr. Perfects
CHAPTER 37| GOODBYE

In this world, there were many things that Ocean hated. Irregularities, stupid actions and speech, and helplessness. Ocean hated the third point the most, where he could not control the situation and placed it on the brink of the abyss. He could not run away, unable to move his feet a step as it would be mired into that dark abyss. Ocean experienced it when forced to marry Selena. All Ocean could do after getting into the abyss, was to make a torch so that it would not be too dark there. He tries to create a new life where there is Selena in it.

And now, Ocean was once again placed in the situation he disliked the most. Selena had dragged him towards the point where Ocean had no idea what he should do or how to deal with it. Ocean was not a snot kid who only understood plain speech. He understands what Selena means. It's just that everything seems out of place.

There was nothing Ocean could do but stand still letting the pitch become the most annoying verse among them. The wind coming from the balcony hit the face gently, playing the hair child. Time crawls, blurring the mind of the reality that is shackling them.

“Sorry I spoke carelessly, Ocean.” Finally Selena who broke down the pitch, lowered her head as if she had just made a fatal mistake. “You can drop me off here.”

Ocean flinched for a moment, before he finally took down Selena carefully.

“I must be losing my mind. Let's just say I never said that.” Selena's breathing sounded irregular, she also moved her eyes around quickly, avoiding staring at Ocean. “Can you please make me tea?”

“Selena ..”.

“I'll wait on the balcony.” Selena hurriedly stepped towards the balcony, leaving Ocean staring at her increasingly distant back.

There was so much fear enveloping Selena now. The memory of his college days scrambling filled his head. Selena just lost control of herself. Isn't Ocean's rejection still painful today? Isn't there no hope for him and Ocean to have a proper relationship? And what about Felix? The man is too precious to feel heartbreak if Selena acts recklessly. Selena's really just been acting stupid and crossing the line.

Felix's extreme guilt prompts Selena to reach for her phone. The phone call immediately whacked the ear. Selena's fingers were fidgeting at the table.

Five times the connection tone, Felix just picked up the phone, his voice sounded different this time.

“You're home, Felix?” Ignoring Felix's cold tone earlier, Selena tries to act normal.

“Yes, I came home yesterday. Why?”

“You .. have heard the news that I had an accident? You don't intend to visit me?”

Silent across there for a while, until then Felix let out a long sigh. “Are you that bad? All right, I'll see you later.”

There's clearly something wrong here. No matter how angry Felix was, he never said ketus and cold to Selena. The man had an attitude that Selena liked so much.

“Do I make a mistake?”

“What kind of mistake can you make? Don't exaggerate. I'll be there after meeting my friends."

The connection was cut off unilaterally, Felix did not even feel the need to listen to Selena's response. In fact, given how Selena had betrayed Felix, she had no right to expect a good response from the man. Guilt is suffocating him now. Selena wondered if she had been a good lover to Felix. When Felix was in a slump, was Selena there to at least encourage him? When Felix was happy, was Selena by his side to laugh together?

After her marriage to Ocean, Selena was too busy with her own affairs, with her miserable unattainable feelings. Ocean has seized all of Selena's attention, leaving her to ignore her position as Felix's lover.

Judging from anyone's glasses, Selena really looks like a self-informed boyfriend.

“Your face is pale. Wouldn't you rather come in now?” Ocean put tea on the table, sat on the chair.

Selena threw her gaze at the expanse of the sky, her face looking sad. “About how much longer will this wedding last, Ocean?”

The Ocean view is glaring. “You're fed up, Selena?”

“There's no hope in this marriage, right?”

“Then, let's split up, Ocean.”

...****...

At eight o'clock in the night, Felix came. She met Selena in her room with a flat look, as if she did not feel concerned about Selena's condition. Felix was like a different person, he didn't even look at Selena properly.

“How about your shoot, Felix?”

“No problem means.” Felix stared at the wall, looking indifferent to Selena's question.

Selena played her fingers, her throat suddenly felt choked. “You ... Can you wait a little while longer?”

Selena's question managed to make Felix turn his head completely, looking surprised.

“Although it seems like it will be difficult, I .. I will try to find a way to escape this marriage. We can continue the relationship as usual after everything is done, Felix.”

Selena warns herself not to collapse her defenses when talking about her separation from Ocean. No matter how much Selena feels about Ocean, she must never forget the existence of Felix in her life. The man who became a healer when Selena slumped will break her heart. Felix reached out to wipe away Selena's tears as she cried. Felix was always there when Selena needed a home. How could Selena hurt a man as good as that for his selfishness in a bullshit fairy tale with Ocean?

“We really will be like we used to be after this.” Selena grabs Felix's hand, trying to convince him.

For a moment, Felix swept his gaze across Selena's face. Eyes that still look a little puffy, reddened nose tops, and wobbly gazes. Felix smiled bitterly, knowing how hard Selena was trying to save their relationship.

“You're really going to split up?”

“Yes, I'll work on it. You can wait a little longer, right?” Selena clasped Felix's hand tighter.

“Good.” Felix nodded, rubbing Selena's hair. “I'll go home first then. Don't think too much, Selena. You need enough rest.”

Felix stood up. After saying ‘goodnight’ to Selena, she stepped out of the room, finding Ocean sitting on the long sofa outside Selena's room with the tablet in her hand.

Felix's steps came to a halt, he stared fixedly at Ocean. Two seconds, Ocean raised his face. Their gazes clashed. But this time, no fire was caught between them. Tonight, the winner was decided.

“Can you come here for a minute, Selena?” felix exclaimed without releasing his gaze from the Ocean.

Selena galloped out, slowing down her steps as she looked at the Ocean in front of them. “What's up?”

“Help me.”

Selena's fingers squeezed the edge of her shirt, stealing a glance towards Ocean. Feeling no reason to reject Felix's request, Selena's hands moved awkwardly to hug him.

Felix still curled Ocean through his gaze as his hand moved to return Selena's embrace. But Ocean knew very well, it was not a winning gaze. There was no arrogance in Felix's eyes.

Ocean was stunned as the consciousness began to be intact. The man was not celebrating his victory, nor was he declaring war.

Felix is saying his farewell.
