Mrs. Crazy And Mr. Perfects

Mrs. Crazy And Mr. Perfects
CHAPTER 43| CHAOS

“Sial!”

The bait escaped from Ocean's lips along with his hand that slammed the steering wheel, pressing the gas deeper, to make his car speed over two large cars at once. Ocean's appearance was chaotic; his hair was messy, his shirt was tangled, and his face was haggard as if he had not slept for days.

The 22-hour trip on the plane, without sleep and food, did not make him feel the need to rest for a moment—ah, even the word rest at this time felt so foreign to Ocean's ears. His mind was full, his feelings were very cloudy.

Noah beside Ocean could only close his eyes, tightening his grip on the car handle while chanting a prayer of safety as Ocean grew more and more crazed. The car swerved to the right-left in the most reckless manner until some of the drivers pressed the horn and swore. Despite wanting to cry, Noah suppresses the urge or gets spray from his boss.

“How's it going, Noah?”

Maddened. While being careless like that, Ocean was still thinking of asking Noah. The problem was, how could Noah answer, while his life soon seemed to be uprooted from its place?

“I-it ..” Noah's hands trembled. He tried to open his eyes, only to quickly close them back as the death-like scene greeted his vision. “Me-media is still a craze, Mr.”

Ocean's left hand was raised to rest her hair, wheezing the rough. Already he guessed the situation would not be able to control him easily.

This morning, in the hotel room where he was staying in Boston, Ocean got a call from Noah— - exactly Noah finally managed to contact Ocean after forty calls the others did not welcome. Still with eyes not fully opened, his voice still raucous because he just woke up, Ocean was stunned to hear Noah's explanation.

The media is in a rage. The names Selena, Ocean, and Agatha appeared everywhere, becoming the hot topic of everyone's conversation. Infidelity. As Agatha kissed Ocean, the basketball game was being broadcast live to different parts of the world. It is not difficult to recognize them, especially Agatha is a prominent architect who is the equivalent of a celebrity.

Hot rumors about Ocean and Agatha's affair broke out quickly in the blink of an eye. Television stations, newspaper companies, and social media are racing to broadcast the most factual news about it, some coupled with baseless rumors. Not only that, the news about the Selena scandal in the past also emerged, the media clearly did not want to miss the golden opportunity, scooping up as much profit as they could get.

As a matter of concern, La Sky Land shares sank due to the news. Although the public relations team has given a statement of denial according to Ocean's instructions, it does not necessarily cool the situation. After this, we can be sure Ocean will be difficult to breathe, a lot of things he had to do to restore the situation.

And there was another one that dominated the Ocean's head. Since receiving the news from Noah, he had been unable to contact Selena at all. Countless times Ocean hissed in frustration when the voice of the operator answered his phone line.

Twenty minutes in hell, Noah finally breathed a sigh of relief as Ocean's car docked in his yard. Without waiting any longer, Ocean ran into the house, circulating his gaze all over.

“Selena? Selena!” Ocean checked one by one the room with agile movements, not taking a pause to breathe. However, no matter how loudly she called out, Selena did not reply. He's not in there.

Noah just wanted to get off when Ocean was back in the car, rushing to press the gas deeply. Ocean's car darted the streets of the complex, to then join other vehicles on the highway that is not too crowded. Noah's eyes were once again tightly shut, inwardly vowing to take his mother on vacation if she survived today.

Ocean's countenance grew turbid, worries lingering in his sharp eyes staring at the streets.

In less than half an hour, Ocean's car stopped some distance from the gate of a mansion. The reporters were crowding there, with cameras hanging around the neck. For the first time today, Ocean breathed a sigh of relief. Selena was obviously at her parents' house.

Ocean took his phone, dialed a number. Directly connected in the third ring.

"Ocean." The voice across there first opened the conversation. Slow down and let him know he's not in a good mood.

“Mama .. sorry just contacted. Is Selena there?”

“If possible, can I see him for a moment?”

Away once more, this time longer than before. “Alright, security officer will pave the way for you.”

Five minutes later, several security guards pulled over the crowd of reporters, shouting to tell them to step aside. The entrance has been created. Ocean immediately moved the steering wheel towards the Athaya family residence, along with a camera blitz that had been snapping pictures of him. The big fish has appeared. Some of them were even reckless to rush over, trying to stop Ocean's car. However, the security officers moved quickly, pulling them away.

Successfully escaping from the starving ink jar, Ocean rushed into the house. Lilian was already waiting in the living room, pointing at Selena's room on the second floor, then nodded once, allowing Ocean to meet Selena.

Muttering a short thank you, Ocean ran up the stairs. He stopped in front of Selena's closed door. With a slow step, Ocean approached, knocking on Selena's room door twice.

“You're inside, Selena?” Ocean asked carefully.

Silent. There's no answer whatsoever. Even so, Ocean knew Selena was in there.

“Alright, if you don't want to see me.” Ocean took a slow breath. “I'm sorry that with this news, you're the media moons. And I just want to make sure that you don't misunderstand ...”

The door is still flinching.

“Maybe this sounds like a prank, but I want you to be the first person to survive this problem. Basically you didn't do anything wrong.” Ocean swept his gaze at the door that stood firmly in front of him, as if Selena was standing right in front of him. “I'll fix everything, Selena, put everything back in place. I can't say you don't have to worry, but I hope you believe me.”

Ocean turned back, was about to come down to leave from there, when the sound of the door being opened made his steps stop instantly. He turned his head for a moment, finding Selena who was standing in the doorway with her head down. No need to look at it carefully, Ocean knows Selena's eyes are swollen.

Without waiting any longer, Ocean stepped swiftly towards Selena, instantly locking her in a clutch. And miraculously, the burden that was carrying Ocean seemed to be half over. His strength slowly returned.

“You'll be fine.” Ocean whispered, gently rubbing Selena's hair.

“I know.” Selena's voice ruffled, the rest of the crying. He returned Ocean's embrace, feeling the warmth radiating in his cold hand.

For a moment, Ocean released a hug, sighing as he found Selena's face looking chaotic. He then slipped Selena's hair child across the face, smiling faintly. “You can stay here for a while. I'll pick you up when the situation improves.”

Even at the end of Ocean's sentence, a rush of footsteps echoed in the mansion. Noah appeared on the stairs with a panicked and shocked look.

“Pak, there's latest news!” Noah's face looks pias, a sign he brings bad news. “Photos of Mrs Selena and Model Felix Hadwin coming out of the apartment are scattered in the media. They ... uh, they seem to be making news about the affair—”

Noah's words were not finished, because Selena had already collapsed onto the floor.
