Mrs. Crazy And Mr. Perfects

Mrs. Crazy And Mr. Perfects
CHAPTER 40| SHARE SECRETS

Ocean had no idea how long the awkward silence had held him and Selena had since escaped from Selena's lips. Their eyes clashed, as if time were freezing everything. From this close distance, Ocean could see Selena's bright brown irises shaking, as if enormous worry was filling her head.

However, Ocean had absolutely no intention of shifting his gaze. Selena's checkered iris makes her want to dive there, looking for a hidden side that Selena has never shown anyone, including Felix. I don't know what's going on, lately, Selena keeps teasing her.

In that moment-shattering split second, Selena's eyes blinked rapidly, breaking her gaze with Ocean. He seemed to be trying hard to control his breathing so as not to sound stingy.

“A-eventually one annoying problem solved as well.” Selena twitched awkwardly, chanting prayers so that her crazy heartbeat would not reach Ocean's ears.

As he blurred the pitch between them, Ocean refocused his gaze on the star above, smiling faintly. “You think it's a bad memory?”

Selena's head spontaneously turned towards Ocean, her brows furrowed. “You hope I remember it as a beautiful memory?”

Ocean's soft laughter sounded after him. “I hope someday, you can smile when you remember those memories again, Selena.”

Smilingly. Until a while ago, Selena did not think she would be able to smile while recalling those bitter memories. He thought he'd hate Ocean his whole life. Now, however, everything came out of the storyline he had set. The corner of Selena's lips could be pulled upwards as she recalled the incident, feeling she had made peace.

From Ocean ... Selena stole a glance at him, finding the man who was sweeping his gaze toward the night sky peacefully. Selena so wondered how could the painting full of Ocean rips that she had put up so well in her mind, now turn into a jewel-framed painting that made her want to stare at him for as long as possible.

Destiny felt so joking and Selena felt her heart was too easy to forgive—

The deg!

Selena gasped as Ocean suddenly glanced at her, her reverie instantly blurring. Caught wet watching Ocean like that, Selena hurriedly turned her gaze with an increasingly uneasy heartbeat.

“Li-fifty-six.” Selena said nervously, pretending to stare at one star.

“Fifty-nine,” Ocean correction, a small smile because of Selena's behavior.

Mourning inwardly, Selena closed her eyes as if reminiscing about a bad event. There was clearly nothing that appeared in his mind other than the face of Ocean. It made Selena frustrated to quickly open her eyes.

And Selena gasped in shock right after her eyes opened. As for what was about to escape his lips he swallowed roundly as Ocean blatantly looked at him while slightly tilting his body.

“What? Why?” Selena's getting nervous.

Ocean did not immediately reply, as if enjoying Selena's nervousness. “Let's share a secret, Selena,” he said later.

Longitudinal. The crackling of insects sounded faint from the distance. It took Selena a while to digest Ocean's words. Share what?

“Why should I share secrets with you? Am I lacking in work?” Selena grunts.

“Consider this to make our communication better. A secret that no one knows. Of course I will also tell my secret.”

Okay, that's a pretty interesting offer. It was possible that Selena could feel a step ahead of Agatha if she knew the Ocean's most hidden secret.

Glancing at Ocean at a glance, a small frown appeared between Selena's two eyebrows. “Check, yes?” Selena seemed to think hard, then flicked her hand and lowered her voice. “You remember back in college there was a tennis tournament and you represented the mixed doubles sector of our major? Your partner, Aurora ... uh, once screamed hysterically when she would wear her tennis uniform before a match, right? Actually ... I tore up her uniform and put a Voodoo doll in her locker.”

Ocean was at a loss for words. He who can usually display a serene look like the Amazon River, now looks surprised because of Selena's speech. Ocean still remembered very well how he was in an uproar at that time. Aurora's tennis uniform was tragically torn apart, and there was a Voodoo doll with many needles stuck all over the doll's body. Everyone thought that Aurora was in a serious state of terror that left her shaken for several days. Ocean and Aurora are off the tournament. For a whole month Aurora was accompanied by two bodyguards wherever she went.

“I know it's outrageous, I didn't expect it to be that serious either.” Selena rubbed her cheek wrongly. “That's because he sucks. He told his friends that you weren't as good as it looked. He said you teased him and took him to bed. How can I ... let it be .. begi—all I am wrong, I am guilty of it.” Selena exhaled, not strong for a long time was also showered with the sharp gaze of Ocean.

Crazy princess .. is not a joke. The nickname was pinned right to Selena. Ocean restores her hair, scratches slowly. “Last time, huh? Alright, I will also say something about that.”

Selena was so enthusiastic.

“The letters you gave me .. I still keep them until now.”

Silent. Selena sculpting. Surprised, confused, happy .. I don't know, everything is raging inside him.

“Why did you keep it? Don't you hate him?”

Ocean looked like he was thinking, before a grin rose on his face. “Maybe because I like the laughable sensation of reading it? ‘You like rustling wind in valley’, ‘I want to live in your dark eyes’—”

“Shut your mouth, Ocean!” Selena exclaimed to cut Ocean's words while glaring, the nervousness growing more and more visible on her reddened face. The damn letter ... Selena swore she would burn it once she found it. When writing those ridiculous words, his mind must be in a state of mind.

For the sake of seeing Selena who was like a boiled crab, Ocean laughed off—once again. It's always nice to spend time with Selena.

...****...

The soft light of the sun was slipping through the curtains that were not perfectly closed. Selena's eyelids twitched uncomfortably as the light hit her face, obscuring her dreams. No longer able to fall back asleep because the sun is rising, Selena's eyes move open.

Not even a second after opening her eyes, Selena gasped. His chest rumbled violently, his eyes widening as his brain began to rationally digest the scene presented right in front of him.

Ocean is sleeping .... No, not sleeping on the couch like she used to do, but next to Selena. It's right next to Selena. The same bed. Share the same blanket. Ocean's sleeping position was sideways facing Selena, so their faces were completely face to face.

Selena's racking her brain fast, scavenging memories of what happened last night. Three seconds, Selena paused without a sound. As far as Selena can remember, she fell asleep in the park due to counting too many stars, precisely when closing her eyes to remember bad memories. That means ... Ocean brought him here? Wow, can't be trusted!

The question becomes, how can Ocean sleep in—

“It's cold here, Selena. I can't sleep on the couch.”

Selena gasped as Ocean's slow hoarse voice pierced her ears. Ocean's eyes were still closed, as if he could see Selena watching him through her inner eyes.

Not a single word came out of Selena's lips, this situation still left her dumbfounded and seemed unreasonable.

Ocean's eyes opened slowly, directly colliding with Selena's bright brown bead. None of them had any intention of taking their eyes off, although now Selena felt her heart pumping blood too violently. Looking into the dark eyes of Ocean, Selena felt like she was drowning there. Cold and dark. Selena is trapped, but doesn't want to get out of there.

“You once said that this marriage has no hope, right?” Ocean's hoarse voice broke down the pitch. He is still in his position, not shifted a trillion, before returning to say softly, “Then let's create, Selena. I want to try it.”

And Selena swore, her blood never rippled this fast.
