Mrs. Crazy And Mr. Perfects

Mrs. Crazy And Mr. Perfects
CHAPTER 30| PARTY AND MISUNDERSTANDING

“Cannot walk what.” Ocean closed his eyes as a loud voice that felt like he was slapping his eardrum. His hands were busy washing dishes. Dinner has been over since half an hour ago—of course with Ocean cooking everything.

Adrift about eight meters from the kitchen, Selena and Adira are in the middle of “berparty” in the lounge. They are crazy; dance with excessive movements, jump, shout to the rhythm of the song played out loud. Even now Selena flicked and turned her head down while “sing” with mic in her hand.

“You better run, run, run.” Selena's voice overpowered the original singer's voice. He was agile to move his body, Adira beside him did the same. Age did not deter Ocean's mother from doing what she liked.

The two crazy women who managed to make Ocean sizzle out of breath many times.

Laying down the last plate that had been rinsed, Ocean galloped towards them. It was enough his ears were ringing because of bad singing and home-grabbing music, dance that made eye pain.

“Stop being stupid, the neighbors can be distracted!” Ocean exclaimed, trying to beat the noise of music.

Ocean was just about to take the remote to turn off the television, when his hand was already pulled by Selena. In an instant, Ocean's position was in the middle of the two women. Selena and Adira put their hands on Ocean's shoulders while shouting singing and jumping around. Now they look like football fans who are encouraging a favorite team.

“Say ‘oh my, oh my god.” Selena thrust the mic towards Ocean while teaching him the tone and lyrics of the song enthusiastically.

In return, Ocean gave a sharp glare.

Selena sneered at a glance, then returned excitedly singing and jumping as if nothing had happened before.

Amidst the chaos, the sound of the doorbell being defeated by the music, faintly caught Ocean's ears. He released two hands on his left and right shoulders, before stepping towards the main door.

“Pak Ocean, what exactly is going on here? I couldn't sleep because of the noise from the house. Please warn your wife to stop disturbing the neighbor's peace with her bad voice. I have an important appointment tomorrow.”

A middle-aged woman wearing nightgown was seen grumbling in front of Ocean's door. He glanced cynically into the house, Selena's pitiful voice getting clearer in her ears.

“Sorry for the inconvenience, Mom. My wife is very excited right now. But don't worry, he will stop soon.” Ocean slightly bowed his body as a sign of apology. Selena and her mother are overdoing it.

The woman grunted softly. All right, he won't prolong the problem. “Sadly a man like Mr. Ocean should get a frivolous wife, not have such manners. Ah, I regret not introducing Mr. Ocean with my daughter. She is beautiful, graceful, and certainly has a very good attitude. You two will definitely fit in perfectly ...”

Ocean's gaze changed, his hospitality slowly evaporating, although his body's gesture remained calm. “Thank you for the attention you gave me. My wife is reckless, sometimes over the line. But like Mom who knows everything about your daughter so well, I know my wife better than those who just catch a glimpse of her. I think it's not fair to compare two people, to judge who is better, if you only know one side. Alignment due to subjective views.”

The woman twitched uncomfortably, clearly Ocean's words had touched her ego.

Ocean smiled faintly. “Once again, I sincerely apologize for this matter. I guarantee something like this won't happen again in the future.”

The door closed again along with the woman turning back, returning to her house, after nodding once. Ocean sighed, it was time to face the source of the chaos in his home.

The music stopped, as did Selena and Adira's dance and singing as Ocean pressed the ‘off’ button on the television remote. They immediately stared naggingly at Ocean, ready to fight at any moment.

“Don't get me kicked out of this neighborhood. Stop acting so casually, this is not a mansion on a private island. Time to rest.” Ocean cuek plopped down on the sofa, enjoying the calm after the commotion that made a dizzy head.

“Ah, sucks once.” Adira clucked irritably. “Alright, Selena, we stop the party for today, it's time for bed. Tomorrow Ocean should also work.”

Suddenly Selena felt unusually nervous. He rubbed his cheek wrongly. “S-one more song, Mom. I promise only one song!” Selena cupped her hands together, pleading with a face that was clear to Adira. He has to buy time at all costs.

“No, no. My mother's back is also sick. We'll continue tomorrow. Now it's time to rest.” Unlike the sensitive Ocean, Adira seems weak in understanding the feelings of others. He flicked his hands casually, grabbing the white water. “Alright, good night, Selena. I really enjoy spending time with you.”

After the death of Adira, Selena's feelings are increasingly less complicated. The atmosphere in the lounge became quiet and very awkward. Ocean and Selena were deep in each other's thoughts.

“You still want to be here? I'll go first then.” Ocean stood up, as well as breaking down the pitch. Before actually going from there, Ocean accidentally teases Selena by saying, “Don't sleep too late, Selena. You still remember where my room is, don't you?”

And because of that annoying remark Selena got really frustrated. He wants to escape. Unlike in Alaska where there are a lot of stars, Selena doesn't know what to do in Ocean's room. Many times she ruffled her hair, thinking about faking a seizure until she was taken to the hospital. But it's excessive and childish.

Nearly twenty minutes from her seat, Selena finally decided to step towards the second floor, into Ocean's room. Right, there's nothing to worry about. He just needed to close his eyes there, then byar, the sun would rise unnoticed.

After taking a sip of saliva, Selena pushed open the door of Ocean's room, finding the man reading a book on the chair. Ocean raised his face for a moment, looking at Selena.

“K-because in Alaska you've been sleeping on the couch, now it's my turn. You can sleep in bed.” Selena rushed to get a pillow. Despite warning herself that she had absolutely nothing to worry about, Selena's heart was still running.

“Good idea. You don't want to wear a blanket?”

Okay, Selena really wants to hit Ocean with the tome now. He was actually just a pleasant-nonsense offering to sleep on the sofa, thinking Ocean would swap positions with him. But what could Selena expect from a man like Ocean? She would be thrilled to see Selena suffer, so have the ingredients to make fun of her.

“Save a blanket for yourself. Looks like you'll freeze to death if you don't wear it.” Selena settles down on the sofa, and she complains without a sound. His back feels uncomfortable.

Ocean stepped up from his seat, taking his book to the shelf behind Selena. “Should I put a thicker carpet next to the sofa?”

Selena's forehead frowned. “Why should it be?”

“If you see the way you sleep in Alaska, I can make sure you will fall to the floor before an hour you fall asleep.” Ocean grinned. “Wah, I'm so impressed with you, Selena. You can suddenly become a boxer who beats pillows, your kicks are as hard as a taekwondo kick, and don't forget your awesome spinning ability. In fifteen minutes you can turn 360 degrees. Ah, the most important ... Your snoring is very loud, the sound of mosquitoes is also greatly defeated.”

Selena choked on the wind, as if a huge boulder was stuck in her throat. It was like he lost half his life. What the fuck was that?

Gathering the rest of the consciousness, Selena spoke in a half-choked voice. “J-don't make it up, Ocean. M-where might I be so.”

Ocean swallowed his laughter that was about to escape from seeing Selena's expression. He's not done yet. “I took some videos back then. Want to see?” Ocean picked up his phone, his fingers agilely moving over the screen, as if searching for a file.

Seeing that, Selena gasped, rushing about to lung at Ocean. His pride would be completely shattered if the video caught his eye.

But Ocean was also more than ready, he immediately raised his hand, keeping his phone out of Selena's reach while giving a smile.

“Discover! I'll make that thing end horribly like your life!” Selena jumped with her hands up to grab Ocean's phone. But due to the considerable height difference, Selena could only reach Ocean's wrist.

“Try it.” Ocean's grin gets wider, making Selena hiss.

Feeling her efforts were in vain, Selena only thought of one way out. He exerted all his strength before his feet swung to kick Ocean's shins.

On target. Ocean piled slowly before his body to the side, sitting on the sofa.

Without waiting any longer, Selena jumped onto the sofa, right in front of Ocean. Grounded on both knees, Selena locked Ocean away so she couldn't go anywhere.

Now it was Selena's turn to grin. The difference in height no longer applies.

“Give me your phone while I ask you carefully, Ocean.” Selena half hissing.

Unlike expected, Ocean instead chuckled softly, seemingly unaffected by Selena's words and actions. “Nothing. That video never existed, Selena.”

In a split second, Selena's blood felt turbulent. Shit, he's once again in the Ocean game. Look at that super sickening face. Really asked to be sunk into the Red Sea. Either way, Selena has to take revenge tonight.

The stirring emotion brought Selena's hand up into Ocean's hair, about to pull it. But not yet had his wish fulfilled, Ocean's room door was opened from the outside, making Selena slightly jerked. They spontaneously looked.

“Selena, Mom request cream—”

Adira's movement stopped. He froze with his eyes twitching slowly. Two seconds, Adira hid her smile, immediately behind her body.

“Aduh ... I don't see anything, don't worry. Do what you want to do. Mom go now.”

As if she had just gotten a screech on her back, Selena gasped to realize her position and the Ocean looked ambiguous. Hurry Selena down from the sofa with a little awkward, then immediately chase after Adira.

“B-not so, Mother. Don't misunderstand .... Me and Ocean really did nothing.” Selena got nervous herself, feeling she had to explain the misunderstanding.

Adira smiled widely, glancing at Selena behind her. “Do we have to shop for baby supplies from now on, Selena?”

Damn it! What's wrong with Ocean's mom.
