Pamite
35. Surprised

Alif is still faithfully sitting under a banana tree. He waited hungry, occasionally staring at the path he was walking on as he entered this vast estate.

Unable to resist the hunger that hit the five-year-old finally moved from his seat. He was a little long standing in place, he was confused to have to continue his steps to get deeper into or return to the alley earlier.

"I don't know the way. I also forgot the same road that was passed, many turns. Ah, this is more worthy of being called a forest than a garden" Alif grumbled to his head to his right and left.

He finally decided to go back to the road he had been on. He had to stop for a moment to think about which turn he should take.

Withholding hunger and thirst Alif continued to walk following his conscience. Until finally after a lot of minutes he spent walking, he met with the highway. But unfortunately the road he met was not the way where he stopped from the angkot earlier.

Alif looked around, he had no idea where this was, he had never been here before. Alif finally decided to go back to walking, his head a little dizzy, because the body began to get tired and feel weak. I don't know what time he doesn't know, all he knows is that the sun has gone up a little and made him sweat.

Feeling unbearably tired, Alif sat under a banyan tree. Rest his tired body and restore the lost energy.

Alif was confused where else to go. He did not know the way, the address of his mother's house he did not remember.

"Dad," said Alif.

Yes, he saw his father who was stopping at a traffic light. Alif immediately stood up and ran towards his father, and at the same time the traffic light changed color.

And finally

Pyaaarrr

The glass in Ayu's hand suddenly broke. He holds the glass properly.

"Oh Allah why do I suddenly remember Alif?" muttering Ayu while holding her upper chest, she felt an unpleasant feeling.

In order to ensure his baldness, Ayu contacted Anang. One call has no answer. He tried to contact her again but the results remained the same.

"O Allah, protect my son wherever he is, I beg you to take care of my son, O God." A prayer Ayu said to the Creator.

With a heart still troubled, Ayu continued her pack. Yes, today Anin was allowed to go home due to a stable state. Ayu packed alone while waiting for Rifki to come. The man promised to pick her up and take her home.

"Is he ready?" tanya Rifki opened the door.

"Udah."

"You wait here first, the bag let me take it first."

Ayu just nodded, she felt completely unsettled. She had been in the hospital, but her mind was wandering everywhere. Already trying to think of things that are fine and forget the turmoil, but his brain feels unwilling to work together. His brain and heart felt equally compact to think of the child who was with his own father.

"Yeeee. Finally we go home, Agil same om, yuk!" Rifki crouches down and brings Agil into her shackle.

Seeing Ayu who seemed silent than usual made Rifki wonder.

"You why? Is there something you're thinking?"

Ayu did not budge.

"Yes!" call Rifki a little louder.

"Huh? Yes what's wrong?" ask Ayu a little surprised.

"I should have asked. I think something is in mind?"

"Party of you also why is Barin Alif the same father? Should have persuaded him not to come. You're not used to being away from children, what do we want to do?"

"No need. Maybe you're right, I'm not used to being away from kids, so I thought. We're going home already."

Anang who heard the sound of a collision stopped his motor and looked back. There was already a crowd of people in the middle of that highway. Intentions want to help him to do because there is more important than the condition of others. His son now needs more of himself than I don't know who got hit.

Finally Anang continued his journey after seeing people appear to help the victim.

After several meters of advancing his vehicle, he arrived at the alley referred to the mother. He immediately entered with his motorbike.

"Gosh, is this really a plantation? Which way should Alif go if the plantation is this big?" muttered Anang launched his motor slowly while looking around.

"Aliff! Where are you, son? It's Dad!' yelled Anang loudly.

Worry and anxiety rose to the top of his head as he ran out of voice. The man had already entered into a plantation similar to that forest deep inside. But let alone meet with Alif, signs of human presence were not found Anang.

Stomach that feels hungry makes Anang remember that the child has not eaten. Anang's mind grew more and more unsteady considering this almost noon. In the midst of his turmoil, there was a middle-aged man coming closer.

"Mas, what's it looking for here? Waiting for a girl, huh? Want to fuck in here?" accuse the man.

"Huh? No, sir. I found my son straying here."

"Can't you stray in here? But I haven't seen anyone come in here since. I've been in the garden since morning."

"That's it, huh? Maybe he's out of here, sir. But I left the phone number, yes maybe you see a five-year-old boy, you call me. My son's name is Alif." Anang gave her a piece of paper containing her phone number.

Anang left after the man received a paper from him.

"Oh my God, son. Where should I look for you? Where's noon, what do you have to answer to me, son?" lirih Anang said with a trembling voice.

Indeed Anang was afraid that if Ayu knew this, she would be angry and would not allow him to meet the children.

At five o'clock in the afternoon, Ayu was increasingly agitated with no news from Anang. She contacted her ex-husband but his number could not be reached.

"Yu, you better follow Alif. Not that I want to be prejudiced, but nothing is impossible in this world. I'm afraid that your ex-husband is taking your child away," Ms. Lin said.

Ayu seemed to be silent thinking about what Ms. Lin said. Eventually, she decided to take the advice of the woman who took care of her children.

"Mom's right, why don't I think in that direction? I followed Alif. I'm staying the kids here, ma'am."

Ayu got up from her seat, just stood up and had not yet stepped foot, she saw the car that entered the courtyard of Ms. Lin's house. The same car with the car some time ago which also to the house bu Lin night-night.

Intrigued by who the owner of the car was, Ayu decided to stop for a moment.

His eyes and mouth were both widened as soon as the car owner got off his vehicle.

"That's brother, ma'am. His father Ghiani was with Ghina" Dara said.

"What?"
