Solar Throne

Solar Throne
Throne Heir

Regina Puspa Ranggahadi walked in a hurry as soon as he got off the car he parked in the basement. His steps widened with panic or rather the anger he felt. His face hardened thinking about the news he had just gotten. Until finally the elevator door opened on the top floor of the office building. Walking still with wide strides for the sake of his desire to get to the space he was aiming for.

And when he faced the door of the room in question, Gina, as usual she was called, immediately opened it without knocking on the door first. He felt he had full authority to enter the room even without permission.

When the door opened, a middle-aged man was sitting behind his desk, looking straight at him. And an assistant standing in front of his desk seemed to turn around and saw Gina coming.

"What did Papa do?" Gina is already in front of Mr. Rangga's desk now. As already know the purpose of his daughter's arrival, Mr. Rangga put pen on paper that he was facing.

"Papa has to explain to me what Papa means."

"Sit down first. Let me have OB drop you a cup of hot chocolate." Said Mr. Rangga relaxed as if the panic that Gina displayed did not make him affected.

"I don't want to. Hot chocolate or whatever it is I don't need it all. I want Papa to explain to me. Why can Papa do this to me." Gina fiery.

Mr. Rangga woke up from his seat then headed to the sofa in his work room and changed to sit there. Gina followed. Mr. Rangga instead took the phone handle beside him and buttoned one of the numbers.

"Make hot chocolate and drive it to my room." After that Mr. Rangga put the phone again into place.

"I told you I don't need that, Pa." Gina's complaining was a bit of a spoiled tone there even though her anger was starting to look somewhat inflated.

"You're gonna need that to calm your feelings. I see you're a little fucked up. You need to be soothed with your favorite hot chocolate." Mr. Rangga is very familiar with the habits of his daughter who really likes chocolate. If his mood is bad he likes to eat sweet foods, especially chocolate.

"No, right now the only thing that can calm me is Papa. Papa's explanation is as clear as possible. How could Papa take my name off the heirs list. I'm Papa's only son. How can Papa get me out of the name of the sole heir of R-Company. Is it because I was never involved in R-Company that Papa thought I didn't exist. I'm Papa's only daughter. Only I will inherit Papa's treasure. I chose to work elsewhere because my interest wasn't in kitchenware, Pa. I don't like pans, fryers, spatulas, stoves. It's not all my interest." Gina slitocos until her breath gasped. Mr. Rangga was still as calm as before. No reaction from him.

"Pa..." Gina started to rise again. Just then there was a knock on the door.

"Lake in." Mr. Rangga. An OB emerged from behind the door with a tray on top of which there was a cup and from the smell of chocolate was very fragrant.

Arriving near the table, the OB put the hot chocolate there. Gina looked near the table smelling the aroma of hot chocolate and began to be tempted by its aroma. But after that he realized that his father looked at him while holding back a laugh. Gina turned her body back while clearing her throat and fixed her seat to cover up the mistake she had unintentionally exposed. And in the meantime the OB who was working was saying exit and then disappeared after closing the door again.

"Pa..." Gina half whined. Hoping that his father would change his mind and undo his intention of removing his name as heir to the R-Company throne.

"Sum your hot chocolate first." Said Mr. Rangga calmly.

"That's the chocolate I brought from Switzerland yesterday. Which I give you too."

"I knew. From the smell I know." Answer Gina.

"Don't you spend it all?" Mr. Rangga investigated. Gina gasps. How could his father know that the ready-to-eat drinks his father brought after the business trip had run out in just a short time.

"How not to run out, Papa just brought him that." Gina muttered trying to suppress her voice.

"So you say?" Mr. Rangga then shook his ship not out of thought. Although he should have known and memorized very well how the nature and favorite of his daughter.

"5 dozen packs of chocolate sachets and only run out in 1 week?"

"Ahh, Papa let's stop this and don't try to distract me." Gina finally realized the trick her papa used. Her father just smiled in response to that.

"So, don't you think I'm Papa's daughter anymore?"

"Of course you're Papa's daughter forever. Papa's only daughter."

"Well that..."

"Are you suddenly competent enough to be a leader in R-Company?"

"It's not so, but Papa shouldn't have done this. Don't think of me as someone else."

"You yourself are isolating yourself. From the beginning you chose not to be part of the R-Company. So Papa involves those who feel they have R-Company and I really appreciate their good efforts that make R-Company this big." Gina silently did not dwell on realizing that what her father said was completely true.

"So you think you deserve to have an R-Company just because you're Papa's only daughter?"

"Do you think those who fall awake make the R-Company still operating until now not entitled to the highest position?"

"Don't tell me that Papa will open a presidential vacancy for public employees."

"Why not?" Mr. Rangga replied casually.

"No Pa, that's so unfair."

"Father knows what is fair and unfair."

"No, Papa can't do that."

"You just calm down. Just enjoy your life. Keep having fun until you're satisfied."

"Papa's so cruel." Gina squinted her eyes looking at her smiling papa wryly.

"Who can replace Papa? No one is more trustworthy than me. I'm the one who deserves to lead the R-Company because I'm Papa's daughter. Papa's blood runs through my body and I inherited Papa's talent of being able to manage R-Company very well."

"Mmm.your words are like you've been in the R-Company for a long time. As if you were involved in the development of this company. In fact, you must also realize that you have never been there for R-Company."

"Well, if Papa meant I should be in R-Company then I'd be here."

"Can you?" Mr. Rangga glanced at Gina who was vigorously promoting herself.

"Although I never led a company but worked at Font which, although a software company, I understand a little, Pa. Om Sasono and Faris pretty well involved me in some of those things over there."

"Oh yeah? Aren't you also an ordinary employee equivalent to HRD? Your job there is nothing more than that, right?" Mr. Rangga is cynical.

"Yes, but I can learn, Pa. I can start and I'm sure I can. Papa knows my abilities. I inherited Papa's intelligence so it certainly won't be difficult for me." Gina started putting on a face. The style he used to seduce his father.

"Why am I wasting my time teaching you. This company is not a toy. If there is something much more professional, why recruit amateurs? I don't want to risk this hard-earned company of mine just as a place where you learn and play."

"So I mean Papa..." Gina fidgets and squeezes her fingers.

"Does Papa have his candidacy?"

"Yes, of course. You think Papa didn't prepare everything? Papa knows what to do for the good of R-Company. So if you want to get into R-Company, then you have to marry her to get a share of that marriage relationship."

"So Papa wants to trade with my life?"

"It's up to you to get R-Company or nothing."

"Who will replace Papa that easily?" Gina is very curious about the person who according to her papa is very appropriate to be the recipient of the key to R-Company power.

"And also.. Is he handsome and learned?" He is also curious about the personality of the man who will inherit the throne of R-Company as well as will be his father's son-in-law. Because he knew his father despite his love for him, but he never joked about what he said and always seriously made provisions.

"of course. He is highly qualified for all of that. Even he's very worthy to be with you to be a husband." Replied Mr. Rangga firmly full of confidence.

"Who is he?" Gina was so curious she couldn't wait for the name her father would mention. What people are from the ranks of managers who are also some of them are still single. Or he is the head of a division that is mostly talented and also qualified and still has the status of "own". Gina began to second-guess and imagine some of the names she knew among them.

"Surya." Pak Rangga replied calmly but convincingly.

"What's? She?" Gina turned to look at the teary-eyed man who had been standing next to her papa desk ever since she walked in.

"This Papa's messenger? He's a candidate for R-Company leadership at once could be my future husband?" Gina looked at Surya who was nodding his chin to her as their eyes met. Gina shuddered in horror. How could his father do this. An "enthusband" can get the most important position in the company and also at the same time be a condition to marry him if he wants to enter the company.

Gina looked at the man from toe to head tip over and over again. Surya is not the type of man he dreams of. Not at all. But Surya is a condition that he must meet to get into the R-Company. Gina was in a severe dilemma. Slowly his head seemed to boil thinking about it. R-Company or not at all. To get R-Company he must marry Surya or he will never get anything from his strange but very fair and firm Papa.

Gina was really thinking hard. Faris's face flashed.

Tanpan-faced, charming, firm and also intelligent. And he is, Surya. What seemed so far away compared to Faris. An ordinary face and also a personality that tends to be quiet. Let's not say he used it to get everything from Papa. How could he possibly get all of this so easily. R-Company that is this big as well as the only daughter of beautiful Papa puppet. Gina's mind flicked her hair with her hands without her noticing.
