Hanna stood behind Gina's door. Feby raised both his hands in encouragement. Hanna was really trying to keep Gina from getting angry with her anymore because to this day her boss still hasn't spoken anything to her so it made Hanna very uncomfortable.
"I have to how?" Hanna leaned against the front seat of Feby's desk.
"Miss Gina really punished me by not talking to me at all. He even had lunch without taking me. I feel this is so bad." Hanna complains to Feby who listened from earlier.
"I think I should prepare to find a job." Hanna said while propping up her chin.
"Why confused? Mr. Marco can put you in the best position in his business."
"No, I don't want to work one place with him."
"Why? Isn't that much better since you guys get to meet at all times."
"Imagine if we're together for 24 hours and when do I miss him? While the beauty of a relationship is if you have time to feel missed each other."
"Is it really like that?" Feby thought of Hanna's sentence and suddenly he had an idea.
"How about you take a few days off so Miss Gina misses you?" Chirps Feby.
"Where could I have left him to do all this without me?"
"In fact, after she feels the hassles of being alone, then Miss Gina will miss you and you will be able to make up after meeting later."
"Yes, but for what reason did I apply for leave?"
"Hey, your 2-week cut request is even just you enjoy it not until 1 week. Why don't you take the rest now?" Hanna seemed to be thinking of an idea from Feby who was already getting familiar with her.
"But...How about Miss Gina getting even more angry because I left her when she was angry?" Hearing Hanna's words, Feby thought. Hanna also seemed to be silent thinking that.
But now he is standing behind the door of Gina's room hoping that her apology plan to her superior can go smoothly. He began to knock on the door with an unsettled feeling. And when Gina let her in, Hanna opened the door and entered the room. Seeing that Hanna had gone inside and the door was closed again, Feby sat back in his chair and began to do his work again.
Hanna walked up to her desk by trying to look relaxed so that the nervousness she was experiencing could not be seen by Gina. Gina still silenced him like yesterday.
"Miss..there is a culinary bazaar event today in the town square." Hanna said very carefully. Gina was still checking a file on her desk and did not want to look at Hanna.
Eventually that came out of Hanna's mouth, not her permission to ask for leave. He really did not dare to leave Gina for another vacation. So, he remembered when he left earlier had seen a large billboard that told him that this afternoon was sanded by a culinary bazaar in the city square. Some time Gina still silenced him like the past few days and Hanna became more worried.
"There's a lot of good food and it's also interesting, miss. It must be nice to go there." Add Hanna again to attract the attention of Gina.
"Go away, don't miss it." Gina replied still not looking at him. It made Hanna get restless.
"But I'd like to treat you to all the food there." This time Gina placed her pen on the table and looked at Hanna.
"You want to bribe me?" Gina's gaze was sharp to Hanna.
"Bribed?" Hanna repeated the word because she did not understand Gina's intentions.
"No, Miss. Nope. I didn't mean to bribe you."
"You bribed me to accept your apology." Hanna blinked her eyes at Gina's perfectly correct guess.
"That's. uhhemmm, actually. Look Miss..." Hanna approaches Gina at her desk.
"It's been a long time since we ate together. Then this morning I saw a billboard of the event, so I remember that Miss likes culinary travel so we should try to come there." Hanna smiled sweetly as she said that.
"I don't want to go anywhere today." Gina answered back flipping through the file in front of her.
"Come, Miss..." Hanna started whining. Gina felt that something was strange to Hanna this time. He doesn't usually behave like that. The very stern Hanna had never been so spoiled towards him like that. Gina so think what Marco used to spoil her so that Hanna became like she is not like this now.
"Miss... Im sorry. Let me make amends with you."
"You think I'm gonna take your bribe like this."
"I think you're a very good person. You are not the vengeful type either. You are so beautiful, the universe already knows it. You too..."
"Have it stopped." Gina cut Hanna's sentence.
"My ear hurts to hear your dimey appeal. Wait for me in the car. I'll be down in a minute."
"Get away, before I change my mind." Hanna's face immediately turned bright once she understood Gina's sentence. He immediately rushed out to prepare Gina's car and waited for her to leave together.
The bright face of Hanna who had just come out from inside Gina's room could be seen by Feby as well. And from there Feby can guess how this time Hanna managed to take Gina's heart.
"Successfully." Hanna half-whispered as she was in front of Feby's desk.
"Good..." Feby was happy.
Gina closed the file she read and put it on the other side of the table with the other files.
"Did Marco teach her how to behave?" Gina said as she stared at the door that Hanna had just closed.
"Truly heresy."
🌸🌸🌸
Dusk had almost changed the night as Hanna took Gina's car to a parking lot on one side of the town square. Tonight the square looks very crowded. Lots of merchants selling on the edge of the square. Starting from snacks, balloons and children's toys. The passing of people who come also makes the atmosphere festive.
From where Gina and Hanna stopped the car, there was a sound of live music coming from the inside of the square. There seems to be a small concert being held there. Gina and Hanna had already gotten out of the car by now and started walking into the inside of the square. Due to the large number of visitors, several times Gina had to collide with other visitors who walked in the opposite direction. It made Gina a little uncomfortable but she had no choice because the atmosphere in the place was crowded so she had to walk carefully. Not to forget he put his bag in front of his body just in case there is a copet that is operating also there.
Finally after walking for a while, Gina arrived inside the bazaar. Gina was flabbergasted to see a row of stands that provided various foods lined up in front of her. From local to western food there. Starting from soto to pizza emblazoned on banner stand bazar. Gina was increasingly interested in continuing to walk closer to those stands.
"Hanna, are you sure you want to treat me?" Gina looked at Hanna who was standing next to her.
"Yes, Miss."
"Prepare your wallet. Maybe your salary this month will just run out here." Gina walked over to the fish meatball stand.
Hanna who realized the meaning of Gina's sentence could only gawk at her place. He knows how his boss eats. He will eat everything he wants and likes. Hanna became a little regretful of having already attracted Gina's heart this way. He then approached Gina who was eating fish meatballs in a plastic bowl.
"Hanna, this is delicious. Try." Gina told Hanna.
"Yes Miss." Hanna took the meatballs in the bowl of one of the stands.
"Right, this is delicious." Mumbled Hanna. Gina looked at Hanna and smiled.
Seeing how these few days Hanna seemed to feel guilty after cooperating with Surya back then, Gina became convinced that Hanna was a good employee. He felt unsettled when he made a mistake so he tried to make up for it in various ways so that his boss forgave.
From stand one to stand another, Gina almost tried all her meals and snacks. Hanna felt she could no longer eat since the four booths she had gone to. But Gina seemed to want to try all the food that was there. And cheerfully always give a review of every food he tasted. Hanna just agreed to every word Gina said.
But suddenly there was a screaming sound from one of the stands and after that from where Gina and Hanna were standing there was a fire running up one of the bazar stands. Panicked people started running away from the stand to save themselves from the fire that spread to another stand and grew bigger. Seeing that Gina looked around to find a source of water and ignored Hanna who invited her away from that place.
"You go first and call the fire department. Oh yeah, call an ambulance too. I have to stay here." Said Gina taking off Hanna's hand on her arm.
"But, this is very dangerous, Miss."
"Here you go, just do my orders." Excited Gina while running to a place where there is a faucet there after previously had time to recite a long hose belonging to one of the stands.
"Sir, I borrowed the hose." Gina asked for permission. Hanna just stood there looking at Gina's actions.
"Go ahead." Gina yelled to Hanna to leave who was a few meters away from her place. So inevitably, Hanna went from there with other visitors while dialing an emergency number to call the fire department.
Gina ran up to the water faucet and pulled the hose she was carrying towards the burning stand. The hose was less long. Gina became anxious. But then someone took over the hose from his hand and connected it with his hose and tied it with a rubber rope. That person paid no heed to Gina at all. He was busy preparing for the fire while waiting for firefighters to arrive.
Gina said nothing and could only look at the person doing all her efforts.
"Miss, open the faucet, please." Said Surya aware of Gina who had been staring at him dumbly.
"Oh, yeah, all right." Gina immediately ran to light the faucet that she had not had time to turn.
The water started flowing and out of the hose. The sun runs from a distance it can safely reach to spray water towards the fire. Some people also help by pouring water from buckets they fill with their water supplies. Until shortly afterwards the fire department siren sounded clearer. Then from the outside of the square the firefighters began spraying water so that the fire could be quickly extinguished. Two fire engines that were there were finally able to extinguish the fire that spread to burn three bazar stands. Gina stood not far from where Surya helped put out the fire and kept looking at her. Surya always looks the same in his eyes. Although this time only wearing a dark color T-shirt, her favorite color, and blue navy jeans but Gina's heart did not stop pounding since she came to him earlier. Surya still looks charming to Gina even though she does not wear a suit though.
Finally after half an hour of extinguishing by the fire department team, the fire was completely extinguished. Some victims have also been evacuated by medics and have been rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. The fire caused by the leak of the LPG gas canister made people around the bazaar stand who were burned suffered burns on several parts of their bodies.
The fire was no longer visible but because of the fire, the electricity that was flowed in the bazaar area was deliberately extinguished so as not to short circuit and cause further accidents. Therefore the current atmosphere in the bazaar area became dark. Only the illumination from the outer area of the square gave a hint of light in that place. But even so, Gina knew that the one who was walking towards her right now was Surya. With a silhouette of his face firm and hands that were ruffling his wet front hair dangled on his forehead due to splashes of water from the fire hose during his efforts to extinguish the fire, Gina was pounding at the sight of all that. His heart still plays the beautiful rhythm he once felt. The rhythm is still the same, not changing one bit.
"Are you okay, Miss?" Surya asked after being near Gina.
