Tonight Gina knows what happened to her. The old man has returned. It didn't take long to realize that. It's just that he will need time to ascertain whether what he feels is real or just a moment. He wants to enjoy what he feels right now. After all, he thought this was only because of the pellets that Surya blew. So Gina would let her feelings just flow.
Gina felt very calm with Surya. He knew it was ridiculous because almost two months ago he refused to go overboard so that his Papa would not get him to marry Surya to get R-Company back. But it only takes a relatively short time for him to feel comfortable with Surya even when thinking about Faris, he also still feels the feeling of longing for him. Quite confusing indeed. Only, Gina began to think what if she finally had to lick her own saliva. He who used to not think at all even just glance at Surya, now Gina even feels Surya looks special in his eyes.
I'm in love again... Gina tightened her embrace on Surya's waist. Surya became restless as he almost suffocated to feel Gina's embrace.
It was his latest version of falling in love since the last few years, since he crowned Faris as his love until a while ago.
"Surya, do you know what that is?" Gina spoke to Surya on their way that still crossed the steep road.
"What Miss?" Surya is still concentrating on the road in front of him so that they remain balanced and do not fall.
"There's a lot of lights in there." Chirps Gina again. Surya who has not turned his face from the steep streets increasingly do not understand what Gina said. Surya was worried that what Gina saw was just a hallucination. Or maybe actually Gina has not fully awake so still dream of seeing many lights in a quiet and dark place like this.
"Maybe it was the electricity that the farmers installed to prevent the rats from damaging the rice crops." Answer Surya origin.
"Would the electric current have such a beautiful pattern?"
"There should already be no electricity in the rice fields to kill the rats because it could damage the ecosystem. If not, it was banned a few years ago. But I don't know if there are still farmers who install electricity in the fields." Obviously Surya had absolutely nothing to do with Gina's question.
Finally, the road was hard for them to go through. Now it changed smoothly towards the house of Surya they passed by. At the end of the road to Surya's house there is a crowd. Surya frowned at what was in front of him. Since when did the place become crowded and very bright.
"What's this?" Surya muttering. But Gina heard that.
"That's what I meant." Finally Surya knew the lights Gina was talking about were the lights in a night market that Gina saw as she passed through the rice fields. Indeed, Surya village field is near the rice fields so no wonder Gina can see the lights of the night market from her place earlier.
"Oh, this is a night market, miss."
"Night market? Is there such a game on the night market?" Gina pointed to a not-so-large-sized rogue in the middle of the night market.
"Surya, let's go there." Gina invites Surya without waiting for the answer of her question to Surya. He was too curious about the night market he saw. This was the first time he saw a night market.
Surya pulled his bike in front of the field where the night market was held. Gina got off the bike without waiting for Surya to tell her. Gina walked into the grassy field. It felt wet because of the rain that had just subsided. He remembered that when heading to the rice field Surya had seen a crowd but only a glance and Gina did not pay much attention to what it was. Only now did he know it was the night market that had just been prepared earlier this afternoon.
"Surya, what's that guy doing?" Gina pointed at a man who pushed the merry-go-round until it could spin.
"He pushed. All rides here are still manual, miss. No one uses the machine yet."
"Oh my God, how exhausting is that." Gina's face looks pity on people who do the same on other rides. Bianglala, rotary aircraft, and even trolley cars for children are still manually driven.
"That's how they make a living, Miss."
"You know, I feel so lucky to be who I am today." Gina was very straightforward.
"Yes Miss, everyone has their own luck and misfortune. We just have to keep going through life and be grateful for everything we have." Surya's words sounded like a sister's advice to him. Gina looked at Surya. Surya looks cool when he says that.
"Surya, I want some cotton candy. Buy me some cotton candy." Gina turns her eyes away for fear that Surya knows that Gina is now beginning to admire him.
"Good, Miss." Surya takes Gina to the cotton candy store.
A cotton candy was now in Gina's hands. He looks very happy.
"You know, Roby and I used to go to amusement parks. He always took me on a rollercoaster ride because he knew it was the ride I liked the most. I felt that while riding the rollercoaster all my burdens became light. I can let go of everything in my screams. So much relief." Gina bit her cotton candy again.
"He's the nicest person I've ever known." For a moment Gina's face dimmed to talk about her dead brother. Surya doesn't know Roby. He only takes Roby to the hospital when he finds her to be the victim of an accident. But seeing how Gina felt so lost when Roby died, she knew as close and as good as Roby as her sister.
"Miss, you wanna shoot me?" Surya tries to comfort Gina so as not to dissolve into the sadness of remembering her only brother.
"Shoot me?" Gina did not understand Surya's intentions. But he eventually followed Surya to a kiosk.
"Well, are you sure you want to challenge me?" Gina's at the shooting stall. A stall with rows of cans and a rifle filled with bullets from the ball.
"Mas, what's his greatest gift?" Surya asked the stall guard.
"That taddy bear doll, Mas."
"How can I get it?"
"Mas has to shoot down all those cans." The kiosk guard pointed at the 10 cans at the end.
"Alright, I want that bear taddy, Mas."
"Please shoot first." Surya received a shotgun from the stall guard and started aiming.
"Dor!!!" One can fell after Surya shot him. Surya looked at Gina with pride. Gina gave a thumbs up to him.
Then Surya took aim again. Two cans, three cans, four cans, but unfortunately in the fifth can Surya missed. It made Gina laugh.
"You failed." Gina sneered.
"Give it to me." Gina asks for the rifle Surya held.
"Please Miss." Surya waved his hand. Gina took a deep breath while raising her rifle. Then he started to aim. One shot knocked down a can. A few seconds later the second can fell followed by the third, fourth, fifth and tenth cans. All fell in less than 1 minute.
After sweeping away all the cans, Gina turned around while blowing on the shotgun like a hotshot in the movies. Surya who saw that looked amazed as he clapped his hands towards Gina. While the stall guard was still aghast at how Gina was very deftly shooting all those cans in such a short time.
"You are the champion." Praise Surya.
"It's nothing. A true gamer like me is used to doing this." Gina pretended and walked over to the stallkeeper. Surya shook his head while still smiling at Gina's behavior. Though besides being good at shooting games in the playground, actually Gina also often practiced shooting in the shooting arena. Despite not having any firearms but there is a satisfaction when Gina managed to target the target precisely. So, it was not difficult for Gina to drop all the cans with a distance of only a few meters.
"Where's my gift?" Gina asked the kiosk keeper.
"It's Mommy." The shooting stall guard gave Gina a very large brown taddy bear.
"Because I did it so quickly, you should have given me a bonus."
"Yes, Mommy?" The shooting stall guard was confused by Gina's words.
"Give me that keychain." Gina pointed to a keychain made of heart-shaped wood.
"Oh yes, Ma'am. Please." The shooting stall guard gave it to Gina.
"Thank you, Mum."
"This boy is actually a police officer, right?"
"No, I'm *******." Answer Gina origin. The gunshot stall guard laughed. Sayup-sayup Gina still had time to hear the comments of the stall keeper as he stayed away from the shooting stall.
"There is an********* as beautiful as that. There's just one thing." His comment. Gina doesn't care. She has been praised as beautiful and it is not unusual for Gina.
Surya and Gina walked around looking at the rides in the market that night.
"Surya, actually I want to ride that reanglala. But why is the basket so small. I'm sure it won't fit for me."
"That's just for the kids, miss." Answer Surya.
"I also wanted to ride a merry-go-round, but seeing that man from earlier pushed me so I couldn't bear to ride it."
"Then don't, Miss."
"When I want to ride everything but why all the rides are played manually. It made me feel self-conscious I was too mature to be pushed like that."
"Let's go to the amusement park, miss." Surya. Gina looked at Surya by diverting her bear taddy.
"Where?"
"Tokyo Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disneyland, Paris Disneyland, Florida Disneyland or California Disneyland?"
"Well, you want to take me on a trip abroad?"
"Yes, Miss. Where are you going to Disneyland?" Surya walked beside Gina.
"Do you want to go to all of Disneyland?"
"You're so cool you dare to take me around the world. Are you that rich?"
"I am the landlord of this village. I am also the president of a large factory in the country. That's an easy thing for me."
"Hahh, I really almost fainted hearing what you said. That's so horrible." Gina looked at Surya not believing that this time Surya was bragging again. Surya.
"The more days your arrogant nature gets worse." Gina shook her head in wonder.
"I have to be arrogant to be able to be worth someone, Miss."
"Who?" Gina asked in wonder while holding her teddy bear affectionately.
"You." Answer Surya. Gina stopped her steps and looked at Surya again.
"Me?"
"Yes, you are a woman with a very high level of confidence. So I have to keep bragging in front of you so we can look good."
"So you think I am?" Surya nodded.
"Thank you for your compliment. Let's keep it that way. Sounds fine. The confident and in arrogant." Gina laughed herself after. Surya just smiled.
"Surya..." Call someone who was already in front of the two of them. Gina and Surya turned their heads together towards the source of the sound.
Long-haired girl in light blue channel shirt along the calf. Very well worn by him. The girl smiled at Surya. At once Gina became sultry to see that even though the air was cold.
"Hi Dinda's..." Sapa Surya is back. Again Gina saw Surya's eyes sparkling at Dinda, her first love. She fell in love with him just once.
