Solar Throne
Angkringan Rejo

Gina slowed down her car and her gaze headed out the window as she crossed the angkringan stall she had visited. The shop was always crowded, just like when he came with Surya at that time. He became homesick because he saw the Angkringan rejo social media account from his cellphone earlier.

Given that, Gina felt like everything was making sense. When Surya came, all the servants looked respectful to him. It turned out to be true, that was because Surya was more than just a VIP guest. He is the owner of the shop. And Surya could have kept all that from him. Pretend that he is a visitor, not as the boss in his stall. Surya is very good at hiding things like that.

Right now, Gina actually wants to go down and eat there but she doesn't want Surya to see her coming and think nothing of her. Seeing the people who were enjoying angkringan and cat rice in there, made Gina increasingly want to enter the stall. But then he had an idea. He grabbed the phone in his bag and opened an online food ordering app. Exactly as expected, the famous stall owned by Surya must have been registered in the online booking application. Without thinking, Gina then ordered angkringan through the application and then drove her car back to go home.

Gina was entering her yard. He was sure soon a driver would take his order home so that he did not go straight into the house but waited on the terrace. And right, not long after, a biker stopped in front of the fence of his house. A security man questioned him and as he was heading home, he noticed Gina was there and gave a code to let the driver in.

Three boxes of satay-satean angkringan are in his hands now. Gina then went in with her order and placed it on the dining table. Then he went to the kitchen to wash his hands and opened all the boxes. The aroma of typical angkringan cuisine is immediately smelled by the senses of the reader. So yummy.

Gina started to open the cat rice and put it on the plate. He put it in his mouth and his tongue immediately praised how delicious the food Gina put in his mouth. Sambal provided Gina put it on the plate. Occasionally he poked the satayan on the sauce that tastes not so spicy, but savory, sweet, sour from tomatoes fused in each colekan.

While Gina was still engrossed in her own dinner, Mr. Rangga came to enter the dining room.

"You just came?" Ask Mr. Rangga to Gina who bribed her rice only using her hands.

"Hmmm..." Gina could not speak properly because her mouth was full of food.

Mr. Rangga smiled at the behavior of his daughter who was very happy to eat. He sat down in the chair opposite Gina.

"Rejo's chat?" Mr. Rangga stared at the brand name on the wrapping box. Gina stopped her mouthful and looked at her Papa. Gina knows it looks like her father knows that name.

"You're from Angkringan Rejo?"

"Papa knows I can't possibly do that." Gina answered and continued eating.

Mr. Rangga looked at Gina deeply. Gina was eating like she was starving. Either she was hungry, or because it was her favorite meal or for some other reason, but Gina was very enthusiastic about the food. Mr. Rangga was curious to taste the quail egg satay. But not until her hand touched the quail egg skewers, Gina had already pulled the wrapping box. Mr. Rangga raised an eyebrow looking at his daughter.

"Papa, don't eat that. Quail eggs are high in protein, it can raise Papa's cholesterol."

"Where possible, just one prick."

"No, Papa has to obey what the doctor says."

"The doctor is not here."

"After all, Papa must always take care of health."

"Hey, that's just 5 quail eggs."

"5 quail eggs contain the same 6 grams of protein as a chicken egg. And I'm sure Papa won't stop with just one quail egg. Papa will definitely eat again, again and again." Persuade Gina.

"Hmm. Just tell me you don't want to share with me." Mr. Rangga pouted. Gina then laughed.

"All right, I'll order it myself. If I contact Surya directly, he will definitely give me for free no matter how much. Especially if I say you don't want to share her angkringan quail egg satay with me. He will definitely give me a double portion as his bonus." Mr. Rangga pretended to stare at the screen of his phone.

"No, don't." Gina's fast.

"It's for Papa." Gina pushed the box of angkringan in front of her Papa who was still sitting opposite her.

"No, I'll order it myself."

"Papa don't threaten me like that. Just eat everything Papa wants." Gina fed again her rice with a pouty face because she saw the gelsagat Papa that seemed to threaten so. While looking at Gina's attitude like that, Mr. Rangga held back his laughter.

Mr. Rangga used that way because he was sure Gina did not want Surya to know he was eating food from the Surya stall. And right, it worked. Gina immediately gave all the satayans to him.

"Surya does have an amazing talent in business. It's not just R-Company. Even he could develop his angkringan stall very well." Said Mr. Rangga. Gina pretended not to pay attention to her Papa's words by busying herself enjoying the contents of the plate in front of her.

"When he started opening his stall business, I wasn't sure it would go well considering his busy life with me. But he's like a robot that never gets tired of working. His habit of working hard since childhood made him accustomed to doing activities outside the habits of others." Continue Mr. Rangga.

"He was indeed a person who knew very well how to return the favor to the parents who had raised him since childhood made him try very hard to pay for it. And until now Surya felt it was never enough to give anything to his parents. He's a lot better than any real child."

"Birth child?" At first Gina was not affected by her Papa's sentences and still pretended not to pay attention but the last sentence that Mr. Rangga said made her reflect to ask that.

"Yes, even if he's just an adopted son, but Surya cares more about his parents than you do my biological son."

"See, I mean Papa..." Gina did not continue her sentence and hoped that Mr. Rangga could give an explanation.

At that time Mr. Rangga asked Surya's parents' permission to take him to the city, finance his school and promise to give him a job because he felt indebted to have tried to save his son, Roby.

"Are you really going to help her?" Ask Miss Maryam who is sitting in the living room opposite to Mr. Wiro, her husband.

"Of course, Mom. I'll pay for his college and give him a decent job. I'll look after him like I'm looking after my own son."

"really?" Miss Maryam wanted to make sure.

"Surya is our only child. We don't want him to go far, sir. I don't know what to do if Surya doesn't come back. I don't want to lose our son."

"We have no one but Surya. We are thankful that God gave us a child as good as Surya. Although it doesn't contain it, but since the baby we've been taking care of it." Mr. Rangga gasped to hear Ms. Maryam's words. But he did not ask anything about what Mother Surya said.

"So, I hope you don't make him forget us if Surya has earned a good life in the city."

"No Ma'am, I will make Surya like my son but he will still be the son of Father and Mother. I'll make sure of that." Said Mr. Rangga who finally really he pat.

Mr. Rangga is a person who always reminds Surya in the midst of his busyness to call his parents often in the village even though just asking them news. Mr. Rangga knows what it's like to lose a child, so he will not let Surya's parents feel what he feels too even in a different way.

Gina mangosteen heard the story of Mr. Rangga who told her that Surya was a baby that Mr. Wiro found on the side of the highway in the early hours of the morning he went to fetch water in the river. The baby boy who was placed in a basket covered only with a blanket was crying from hunger and cold. Mr. Wiro took him to the local village chief's house to report his discovery. The village chief had reported to police but according to speculation, the baby was deliberately dumped by his parents for some reason. So that Mr. Wiro and Miss Maryam who feel sorry to take care of him. Coincidentally they were also not blessed with children since a dozen years of marriage so that the presence of Surya in their midst is very grateful. Therefore Mr. Wiro gave the name Surya to the baby boy because Surya is like the sun that brightens their lives.

From what her father told her, Gina finally drew the line that Surya was a very easy person to do good not only because of the teachings of her parents but also because of her poor self is now a person who useful thanks to the parents who took care of him and loved him until now. Gina remembers how Surya cared so much for the children at the Gina House orphanage. Maybe he knew what it was like to never know who his parents were so he wanted to share the love to those children like what his parents had done to him.

🌸🌸🌸

This afternoon Gina drove her car leisurely. With a pile of boxes filled with food that he put in the trunk, Gina finally arrived at the place she was headed. Gina's House. This was not the first time he had come to this orphanage. The first time was when Surya invited him. But one time after parting ways with Surya, Gina felt very chaotic and lonely, then while driving without direction suddenly she walked near Gina's house and then thanks to events outside the plan, he said, Gina finally came to the parlor. After being there it turns out the children were quite able to make him feel entertained. Playing with the children of the home makes Gina can release her burden a little.

After that, Gina played at Gina's house several times. And every coming of course he never came empty-handed. Gina always brought snacks and snacks for the children. He did the same as Surya did. Like this afternoon, Gina came to bring food for the children of Gina House. It had been imagined in Gina's head how the orphanage children were so happy to see her coming as usual.

Gina stopped her car in Gina's yard. Just now he opened the doors of some children who were playing on the porch of the house immediately scattering to greet him while calling his name. Gina who saw that smiled widely waiting for their arrival.

"Sister Gina, why haven't you been here for so long?" Ask a girl with two braids.

"Is 2 weeks long?" Gina asked kindly with a couple of children.

"of course. That's a longaaaaa." The 5-year-old girl was very funny when she chatted to him.

"All right, I'm sorry. I'm so busy that I just came back now." Gina pinched slowly on the girl's cheek.

"Please pray that I am healthy always and that my work is fine so that I may come here often to play with you."

"Yes, Sis..." Answer a grown man's voice. It made Gina look towards the man who seemed to be coming out from inside the Gina House and was walking towards him right now.

Gina was glued in place with her lips tightly clenched. Surya showed off his smile as he continued to step closer. The smile that even when looking at her directly like this always made Gina feel homesick.

"You came here, Miss?" Surya is in front of him now. The children around Gina seemed to give Surya a place to get closer to Gina.

"Yes." Yeah." Gina answered briefly because she did not want Surya to know she was groggy now.

"Oh, yes. My brothers and sisters, I brought something for you. Help me get him in." Gina said to distract Surya and to avoid the awkward atmosphere. All the children cheered happily at Gina's words.

Gina then opened the trunk of her car and pulled out boxes filled with snacks. Some children also helped for light items and brought them into the home.

Surya intended to help when Gina began lifting food boxes packed into large plastic bags and containing more than 10 boxes each packaging.

"No, just let me." Ban Gina when Surya lifts one of the plastic bags.

"It's okay, Miss. I'm glad you ordered this much angkringan at our place." Surya smiled at Gina whose face had become pale since earlier because she would definitely be caught ordering Surya's Rejo angkringan food.

"The right choice you choose Angkringan Rejo for our dinner menu is all here."

"I didn't know you were here so there's no part for you." Gina cuek replied as she walked carrying in boxes filled with angkringan.

"It's okay, Miss. I have a lot in the stall." Surya started to flinch.

Gina turned her face cursing at her unlucky self this time. How could he visit at the same time with Surya who came to Gina's House. Plus he brought Angkringan from the Surya stall, it must make Surya feel Gina still always find out about him. Although it is true since knowing Surya is the owner of Angringan Rejo, Gina will only eat angkringan at that place, even though buying it through an online food ordering application, Gina will only eat angkringan, but Gina tried to never get caught like this. It feels really awkward to meet Surya like this.

All the children were enjoying their dinner with a special menu Angkringan Rejo in a long dining room that can accommodate all the children to eat together. While Gina and Surya were also there watching them with a box of angkringan that was being faced. Gina's pouting face looked at Surya who actually smiled at him.

"You said you had a lot of angkringan in your shop, but why do you want mine now?" Said Gina upset because when Bu Wati offered Surya angkringan his, Surya instead said Gina would share with him. And of course the phrase making Surya made Gina became upset because she could only say it.

"Everybody eats dinner, so I don't think it's good that I'm just a spectator."

"You're so wishy-washy." Gutter Gina while opening the box. He began to open a banana-leafed cat rice in it and then feed a little after he included sambal while biting his favorite quail egg satay.

Surya smiled again to see Gina eating like that. In his entire life he never found a woman who could never refuse food like Gina. He ate all the menus and did not keep his appearance at all while eating. If the food had to be eaten by hand, then Gina would not hesitate to do so. It was one of Gina's attractions in Surya's eyes.

"You don't want to eat?" Tanya Gina who saw Surya was just dumbfounded, instead of feeding him her food.

"Of course you want to, Miss."

"Then why bother? You know what if I eat? You'll be left behind me."

"How about you feed me? My hand was sliced off while peeling an onion in the stall kitchen." Surya said while showing the index finger on his plastering left hand. Gina stopped chewing and digested Surya's speech. I wonder if he is so insane as to say that to her.
