Solar Throne
Handsome Tutor

Surya blinked his eyes as he began to wake up from his sleep. He heard something loud from one direction. His eyes still felt heavy to open even though his mind had begun to fully awake. The room was still dark when his eyesight was fully opened. There was a scent that he was very familiar with all this time. The smell of sauteed onions. Surya immediately raised his body when he realized the possibility that could happen. He then walked towards the kitchen.

Gina was holding a spatula and frying something in a frying pan. He seemed to be busy with the apron he was wearing. Feeling noticed like that, Gina turned her head towards Surya.

"You awake?" Gina's smile was wide seeing Surya standing at the kitchen door.

"Bring first, it'll be over soon. After that we'll have breakfast." Gina then went back to scraping the rice on the frying pan.

Surya complied and headed for his room to take a shower. His thoughts were still left to Gina who suddenly cooked. A very magical incident saw Gina wearing an apron like that. He who used to wear branded clothes at a fantastic price, when at home instead prefers to wear his clothes and now even cook food for him.

Was Miss Gina so depressed that it became like that? Whether his marriage to me made him so desperate that he lost his identity and turned 180° from before. Or maybe his work at R-Company was so mind draining that it was frustrating then at that point it became... Surya did not dare to imagine further the impact of the life that Gina had experienced lately. A life far from his previous habits.

Surya fluttered his head in circles thinking about Gina who had turned that drastic. A cold shower she hopes can calm her brain full of worried thoughts towards Gina.

Gina placed the fried rice on top of the rice bed made of glass and brought it to the dining table. At that time Surya had finished bathing and approached Gina who returned to the kitchen to take a plate containing a friend eating fried rice.

"You're done? Let's have breakfast." Sapa Gina with a sweet smile on her lips and right hand carrying a plate containing eggs, sausages and chicken nuggets. All that Gina got from the fridge.

Gina walked out of the kitchen. While Surya was still standing in the doorway of the kitchen staring at his kitchen which just turned into a moment like it had been hit by a tsunami. Messy. Cooking utensils out of place, fried rice spouts scattered everywhere around the frying pan. Eggshells are on the kitchen table, scraps of used onions for seasoning, everything meets the Surya kitchen table.

"What's that doing with my kitchen? The fried rice is stirred or tossed? Why are you scattering all over the place?" Surya took a deep breath.

"It's a mess." Surya muttered next with a small laugh imagining what Gina had done in her kitchen earlier.

"Surya, come here fast." Take Gina from the dining table directly next to the kitchen table.

"None right." With a feeling of tightness Surya headed to where Gina arranged the dining table.

"Let's have breakfast." Gina took Surya the fried rice on the plate and placed it in front of her.

Surya looked at the fried rice. Fried rice with the appearance of rice that still exists partially clumped small, with uneven brownish color. From there Surya could imagine what it was like. Surya took another strong breath and then put the fried rice into his mouth.

"How does it feel?" Gina asked with an anxious look.

"Lumayan." Surya chewed his fried rice slowly.

"really?" Gina also scoops her own fried rice. He then looked at Surya who was enjoying his breakfast with wisdom without any sound.

"Surya, stop eating it." Said Gina then in a slow tone but moderate volume.

"Why, Miss?"

"It's very salty." Gina looked at her fried rice grimly.

"Just a little salty, Miss."

"No, I seem to get too excited when I add salt to it."

"It's delicious, Miss." Surya looks ordinary. Gina looked at Surya shuddering.

🌸🌸🌸

The sun started to sink this afternoon. The weather was hot all day. It was inversely proportional to the overnight weather which was decorated by heavy rain. Somehow the weather tonight, will it rain or not.

The cold air last night made him wake up more comfortable behind the thick blanket given by Surya when he was asleep. But then he opened his eyes and realized that he was not in the room but in the TV room. Gina was ready to wake up when she saw right under the sofa there was Surya who fell asleep on the fur carpet he was wearing. Gina looked at Surya below her. His sleeping face was very peaceful as usual. Seeing that again Gina smiled. The face actually does not have the same good looks line as the faces of the men he had been dating. But somehow Gina really likes Surya who does not even get into her favorite type of man so that makes her want to attract the attention of Surya and want to do a lot of things for it. Therefore Gina decided to make breakfast this morning. Hope Surya will be impressed with her.

Gina sat beside Surya who was driving leisurely. Afternoon after work is a comfortable time to drive accompanied by a driver like this. Gina got used to it and enjoyed it a lot. But her pretty face was still bent to this day due to the salty fried rice incident earlier this morning and made her feel bad for Surya.

"Surya, is your tongue okay?" Gina asked while looking at Surya. Gina felt guilty for making dishes with salt.

"That's fine, Miss." Surya answered with a smile.

"I'm sure your tongue must be numb by now." Mumbled Gina and Surya who heard that this time held back from smiling let alone laughing.

Surya knew it was excessive by still finishing the salt-flavored fried rice, but he also did not want to disappoint Gina who had been trying to cook it this morning. He had to get up early and cook even though he had never done it. So, Surya had to give him a good appreciation and impression for his efforts. So spending a plate of fried rice that is very salty is the thing to do.

"There are times when food does have a strong taste, Miss. So there's something called salted fish, salted eggs, salted squid..."

"But there hasn't been salted fried rice in all of perculineran history." Sela Gina's.

"No need to pretend to like it. I'll also understand if you honestly don't taste good." Gina again.

"It all starts with not being able to be so, Miss. I love Miss's effort, so I appreciate the food Miss made by eating it all out."

"You shouldn't have to do that. You don't have to risk high blood pressure after this. It was my fault so you can't be a victim."

"I'm too healthy to get high blood pressure right now, Miss."

"It's good that you're sure of that." Gina started to smile again. He looked at Surya. Gina was relieved that Surya looked fine. He is also quite happy because Surya appreciates it so.

"Oh yeah, I saw this morning a lot of groceries in your house run out. Eggs and vegetables are no longer available. We should go shopping now."

Gina walked in front of Surya pushing the trolley closer to the grocery aisle. Gina then took out two boxes of eggs that each contained 10 seeds and placed them inside a trolley driven by Surya.

"What else is it?" Gina mumbled to remember what she had to buy again. He pretended to be able to shop like any other woman. Though this was his second experience shopping after the first experience when he was shopping with Ayu at the market at that time. So, armed with her first experience, Gina tried to repeat what she had to do now.

So Gina went to the vegetable rack and picked up some vegetables. Carrot, broccoli, lettuce, mustard, spinach. Then Gina approached the fruit shelf. Oranges, apples, red wine, each Gina took as she wished. Surya still followed Gina faithfully. He would let Gina buy whatever she wanted to buy. Then after that Gina walked into the snack aisle. All snacks with different types and brands are there. Gina took her favorite snack. Potato chips were a mandatory snack for him so he wouldn't miss it. For snacks shopping, Gina is very experienced because often the main purpose of going to the minimarket is to buy snacks.

"Miss, I'll take something over there." Surya was ready to take out nothing. Gina simply nodded her assent while putting in the snacks she took.

"She..." Greet someone nearby. Instantly Gina looked up from her down position while picking up a bottle of peanut butter on the lower shelf. A white-skinned man with a charming smile and a warm eye gaze was beside him now.

"Hi, you." Gina recognized the handsome man.

"During not meeting. How are you, my Handsome Tutor." Gina's clumsiness and instantly made the man who was said to be handsome by Gina then laugh.

Just then Surya walked up to Gina and saw her talking to a man. Surya was watching the man who was visible from the side. He never knew the man. Surya thinks that maybe he is Gina's ex who has been passed from her knowledge. Surya then stops at a row of snack shelves not far from Gina by pretending to choose as well and keeps his hearing to know who the man is and what they are talking about. But then Surya turned his head quickly to Gina and the man as Gina called him 'My Handsome Tutor'. Surya's eyes were sharp towards the man who was laughing hearing Gina's words just now.

Indeed handsome. Inner Surya looked at the man who was with Gina.

"How come, you're no longer interested in programming?" Asked the man who was said to be Gina's tutor.

"Yes, I'm actually really interested, but since I'm no longer working at Font so I really have to say goodbye to programming." Then Gina laughed. His face was bright when he laughed so.

Surya was still watching him from where he stood. For the first time Surya doesn't like to see the way Gina laughs. Surya lamented why Gina laughed so loosely at the handsome man in front of her like that. Seeing it was like there were grains of sand rubbed in Surya's heart.

"really? You don't work at Font anymore?"

"Hmmm..." Gina's smile did not come off at all when she looked at the man's face. Surya's getting hotter looking at it.

"Then, what are you doing now?"

"I'm a potter." Gina laughed after saying that. The man in front of him who certainly did not believe in Gina's words also laughed. They look familiar.

"You're making this up. I had to tell Sunday that her husband had to hire you again at Font. How can a woman as beautiful as you be a potter. Later there are not mothers who want to patch the panc but the fathers who even queue." The claw of Gina's friend followed by her laugh again.

"Alright, next time we have to talk more."

From there Surya concluded that the man knew Sunday.

But who is he? She knew Sunday but she wasn't a Font clerk because she didn't even know Gina didn't work there anymore. Surya analysing.

"Can." Gina assented.

"Your phone number is still the same, isn't it?"

"Of course."

"good. Next time we have to eat fried duck again. With a lot of sambal ijo until your stomach burns."

"Who is afraid." The man then said goodbye and left Gina who also returned to choosing snacks.

Now Surya again approached Gina with a bottle of soy sauce and spicy tomato sauce. When he was near the trolley, Surya then put everything in his hand. Surya behaved as if he had no regard for what Gina had just done.

"That's enough. Let's go to the cashier." Gina pushed the trolley full of groceries. Surya followed him from behind.

Suddenly Surya became lazy towards Gina. He had just left her for a while but had already spoken to someone else. He also did not introduce himself as a husband when he knew he was standing not far from where Gina was talking to the man. Gina was really acting like she was still single. Surya accidentally does not ask Gina who the man is but it turns out that Gina also does not want to tell him anything.

All the groceries are being counted on the cashier's desk. After completion, Surya paid a sum of their groceries. Now Surya is pushing the trolley he brought to the parking lot where his car is. Their shopping is too much so it will be heavy if you take it without the help of tools.

Surya moved all their groceries into the trunk of the car and Gina was already sitting in the front seat waiting for him.

"Whatis that? Handsome tutor? Eating together again? They really ever do that? But why do I never know?" Surya muttered while closing the luggage door very hard. He deliberately did so because he was annoyed to see Gina smiling so sweetly to the man earlier. Gina could definitely feel the door slamming.

"Who is that guy?" Surya walked up to the door of his car.

"Surya, tonight I'm going to cook chicken stew." Gina said as Surya sat in the car.

"No Miss, I'll cook for you. I'll make chicken stew." Surya replied quickly because he didn't want Gina to mess up the kitchen again. Not to mention that he did not want to risk eating food with a strange taste.

"Why? Are you afraid my cooking isn't good anymore?"

"Not that, it's not that..." Surya's lying.

"I see the tutorial is easy." Gina showed me a video of how to cook chicken stew from her phone.

"Let's cook together, Miss." Surya finally.

"All right then." Gina seems to be in a pretty good mood right now. He often smiled and his face looked cheerful.

Is it as happy as talking to the Handsome Tutor? Miss Gina really never changes. A playgirl is a playgirl. Surya's complaint in his heart. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly until Gina did not notice.
