Hate But Miss

"Thank you." Gina replied while taking the bag in Surya's hand.

But Gina has not had time to take her bag, Surya catches Gina's hand and then holds it. Gina looked at his hand then looked at the face Surya did not understand with his sudden action.

"You're hurt, Miss." Surya raised Gina's hand showing a blister on the back of her hand that looked like a new wound.

"Little wound only." Gina quickly pulled her hand from Surya's. He knew the wound was a can while taking the hose and his hand was exposed to the corner of the table which was coated with an aluminum plate.

"Stay it's a wound, miss." Surya then pulls Gina's hand again and takes her somewhere.

"Hey, what are you doing? Let go of me." Gina tries to release her hand from Surya's hand but even though he is a martial arts master, Surya's hand grip cannot make it escape.

"Surya, I could've hurt you if you treated me like this."

"After this you may hurt me." Said Surya still walking without looking back, where Gina who he was still holding.

"All right then." Gina starts to turn Surya's hand but then Surya turns to hug Gina before she can slam Surya's body.

Gina blinked her eyes many times getting a sudden treatment from Surya like that. His pounding heart made his body melt helplessly so that it could not take any action. He never thought Surya would do it. Several pairs of eyes from the people in that place stared strangely at those who seemed to be with various thoughts commenting through the eyes. A few seconds passed as Surya held Gina in his arms. And when Gina regained her senses, she began to regain her strength and kicked Surya's leg and made him stand up in pain.

"Aawww.it..." Surya stroked his shin while grimacing.

Gina had regretted doing that to Surya and almost reflexed to approach and calm him in pain. But then his common sense dawned on him not to do that. He must still maintain his pride to no longer pay attention let alone show a good attitude to Surya.

"It hurts so much, Miss." Surya complains.

"If it wasn't in a crowded place, I would've beaten you."

"I'll just treat your wounds, Miss."

"Not to overdo anything good to me." Said Gina coldly then left Surya in his place with occasional grimacing feeling his bones ache.

Surya looked at Gina who was walking further and further away and entered the car and drove her away from the town square. He had to make a quick move so that Gina could not hit him with such a hug. Of course Gina would not be able to do anything if her hands were even within her power.

He was sure Gina must hate him so much now. It was even greater than his hatred for Marco. Unknowingly, Surya breathed heavily. As much as apologizing, it won't change Gina's decision to hate him. He knew the choice he had made would indeed lead him to his current state. Although it was never that close before marriage, but, Surya could almost be said to know Gina well. Being his supervisor secretly, made him know the attitude, nature and habits of his boss' daughter back then.

"Hope, why is it so hard for me to control you." One hand Gina felt her chest that was still pounding even though she was far from Surya. But every time he remembered the man's face, his heart was like jumping to and fro making him my own defeat.

"Miss, are you really okay?" Hanna asked as she welcomed the newly arrived Gina.

"I have to tell you how many more times?"

"Oh, well, Miss." Hearing Gina's answer, Hanna had to stop asking about her condition after the incident they experienced last night.

"Oh yeah..." Gina said as she began to sit behind her desk. Hanna who will soon sit in her chair undo the intention in order to listen to the words of her superior.

"You deliberately invited me to the bazaar to meet me with Surya again?" Gina asked that made Hanna widen her eyes.

"Sorry, Miss?"

"Solar's in there, isn't he?"

"Oh, I don't know."

"You sure you didn't plan all that?" Gina.

"What's the plan, Miss?"

"Hey, I met Surya there." Clearly Gina with a high tone of voice.

"really?" Hanna frowned.

"I didn't meet him, Miss. I didn't know he was there either."

"You sure?" Hanna nodded for sure.

"Well, if you get caught conspiring again, I won't just leave you alone."

"Well, Miss, it's never gonna happen again." Hanna smiled but her mind digested Gina's speech saying that Surya was there too. What is clear is that Hanna did not know there was Surya in that place.

Given the events last night, Gina felt lately so often meet Surya. Either coincidentally or not, but his calmness began to be piqued again. Gina did feel very lost Surya when she left him but when she met again it made her even more restless. It was really hard to deal with his feelings for Surya. His feelings of joy are still very thick felt.

"Hanna..." Call Gina to Hanna who is facing a tablet PC checking Gina's schedule for this one week.

"Yes Miss." Hanna replied, turning her gaze from the payar tablet PC to the face of her boss from behind the desk.

"Do you think I hated Marco so much?" Hanna frowned at Gina's sudden question.

"I ask you as my friend and as Marco's wife." Added Gina. Hanna took a breath to answer that question.

"Look, Miss. I want to answer that question as myself." Hanna smiled as she said that.

"You have a reason for that. Everyone has their own way of dealing with their feelings. It must be hard for someone but it might also be easy for someone else. It's all in your heart if you have to decide to continue hating or making peace with the person you hate." Opinions Hanna.

"But, I think hatred will only make us continue to hurt ourselves, Miss. You will always be grudging and feel uncomfortable every time you meet. Or even just by remembering it you can feel hurt and it can hurt yourself. Your comfortable heart shouldn't feel hurt continuously, right?" Gina silently thought of Hanna's words. His mind floated thinking of Surya. He does hate Surya for having rejected his love and thinks maybe he should make peace with his own feelings by letting his hatred disappear so that he can more calmly live his life and when he meets Surya.

It was a room on the second floor of his angkringan stall. After passing through the hallway to the stairs, Surya went down and told one of his employees that he was going to go out. Lately Surya has been living in the shop. In the second-floor room of the shophouse he rented. That makes it easier to take care of the stall as a business center in addition to some other branch angkringan stalls that are also opened in this city. Surya decided to manage all his stalls himself now. Even though the employees who take care of the stall also still do their work as usual, but now Surya can be much more focused on his stall without being divided into other jobs such as while still working at R-Company.

Surya parked his car in a cafe downtown. He walks into the cafe and finds Siska at one of the tables. Surya immediately approached Siska who was seen holding a mobile phone. Siska raised her head when Surya was already in front of her. Surya smiled and Siska returned but with a hesitant smile.

Hanna walked out of the R-Company building and rushed to a parked car in front of the entrance. Upon entering the car, Hanna finds Marco smiling at her.

"Have you been waiting for me?" Ask Hanna while putting on the seatbelt.

"Yes, why so long? Did your boss give you too much work? I'll protest him if he really does that to you." Marco then stomped on the gas to escape his car out of the R-Company courtyard.

"What are you talking about?" Hanna laughed at the pouting face of her husband.

"You know I'm not a high-loyalty employee, so you shouldn't be talking like that." Hanna still left a laugh at the end of her sentence.

"Don't Gina purposely give you a lot of tasks so you don't have much time with me?"

"Hey, what the fuck? How could Miss Gina have done it. He wouldn't do that." Hanna looked at Marco with a funny look.

"I'm sorry, honey." Hanna grabbed one of Marco's hands holding the steering wheel and grasped it.

"You know me well and I do. I love my job and will do my best."

"So you like your job better than mine?" Marco pouting.

"How did that happen? Of course you're the most important of all the things in my life." Hanna Rayu.

"really?" Hanna nodded her head.

"Then, why do you have more time with your work than with me?"

"When? Didn't I stay with you much longer? I only spent 7 to 8 hours with Miss Gina. At most 10 hours. We can spend at least 14 hours every day. Does that mean I still have more time to work than my wife?"

"But we sleep at night and it's like I'm missing a moment with you."

"So, you want us all night awake?" This time Hanna said her sentence in a lowly heat-up tone. Marco looked at him and Hanna glanced.

"Whatis that? You seducing me?" Marco turned his face towards the road in front of him as Hanna's spoiled waviness awakened something else from him. Hanna did not reply but simply gave her smile to Marco which made her heart pound.

"The more days you're making me anxious. You're getting 'smart." Marco spurred the pace of his car and wanted to get home soon.

🌸🌸🌸

Gina was still sitting behind her desk. He asked Hanna to come home first because she still wanted to be in her room. Earlier this morning when entering R-Company he had heard a conversation of an employee on his way to the lobby.

"Look at this, isn't this Mr Surya?" A female employee gave her cell phone to her friend.

"Truely, this is Mr. Surya."

"Well, he stopped being the president of R-Company and is now a culinary entrepreneur. Not expecting, it turned out that all this time he had another business. Of course leaving R-Company does not make him confused what to do. Look, one of the netizens even said Pak Surya angkringan stalls there are more than 10 branches in various cities. And everything is always crowded with visitors. He's a really great businessman. Managing a cooking equipment factory or angkringan stall, it can equally make Pak Surya can make it popular with many people."

"Well, she's great." Praise the other female officer. They had no idea that not far from where they stood Gina eavesdropped.

"Hey, look at Angkringan Rejo's social media." Hearing the angkringan name, Gina remembered something.

"This.. look at this. In this photo Mr. Surya looks very handsome. Oh my God, he's so perfect."

"Right, look at all the commenters are the women." Get another officer. Gina became increasingly curious about what the photo was. Ever since they mentioned the name Surya his heart has been unsettled. Plus they said many of the women commented on her appearance in awe, Gina felt her heart burn.

The day was getting darker, Gina still did not want to get out of her seat. His phone was on the table. Gina rested her head on the back of her comfortable chair. He repeatedly took a long breath. Because of the conversation of two employees this morning, Gina became curious about Surya's social media stalls. He then installed it and opened social media under the name Rejo. There are some users who use that name. But eventually Gina finds the name Angkringan Rejo in one of the search lists she finds. Gina then opened it and found various promotional photos of the stall. And right in one of the photos there is a photo of Surya there being at one of the tables serving visitors. Photographed candidly shot results Surya looks smiling friendly while serving visitors. And also in the photo there are the most comments from netizens who are mostly women.

"I heard, that handsome man with a charming smile is the owner of angkringan rejo."

"Complete package, handsome and kind businessman. I felt like I was lingering there."

"The food is good, the waiter is friendly, the owner is handsome."

"Is she still single?"

"I want her to be single."

"He's so sweet. May I know him more closely."

"Everytime I go home from there I don't want the food wrapped up, if I may, I want it."

There were so many comments that made Gina nervous about them. Praising Surya, wanting to be his girlfriend and someone even proposed to him blatantly in the comments column to be able to be Surya's wife. Gina was really angry to see all that. His heart was burning without him noticing. He then put his phone on the table to dampen his jealousy.

Gina felt herself to be overrated. It was just a comment but he was eager to come up to the women one by one and silence their mouths with his fists. They could talk about Surya like that. Like a fan to their idol. And to him it was very upsetting.

Be now Gina is silent in her space while arranging her feelings. His face, his smile, his stature, all made Gina miss him. And it makes him hate himself even more because he has not been able to forget all his feelings for the man who has rejected his love. A man who wants to hate wholeheartedly but has not succeeded. If she could, Gina would want to hate Surya more deeply than she did when she hated Marco. But in fact until now Gina's hatred often turned into longing every time Surya appeared before her.

Gina took another breath. But this time he got out of his seat and pulled out his phone on the table, leaving his study.
