Solar Throne

Solar Throne
Good evening

The cold air after the rain did not make Surya villagers not to come to the night market. The event for the villagers is a very fun entertainment, especially for children and teenagers. They can play rides and buy food that is there. Anak2 throngs various rides while the teenagers prefer to gather at some game kiosks and accessories kiosks.

With a taddy bear in her hand, Gina saw an atmosphere she had never seen before. Very simple but no less exciting. The not-so-broad area of the night market makes it like a mini-shape playground. Gina saw Surya walking beside her. It felt like a first date with her. Gina wants to enjoy tonight as she wants. Make Surya always be around him like this.

Suddenly Dinda came. Gina felt that was quite bothering her.

"You guys here?" Ask Dinda.

"You too?" Reply Solar. Gina was so lazy to be at their center like that. He always felt to be a mosquito repellent every time he watched their meeting.

"You're alone, Dinda?" For the sake of looking friendly, Gina remained stale.

"Yes, who it is to be." Dinda's words sounded a bit fishing to Gina. Either Gina who already felt sentimental towards him or indeed that's what Dinda really wants to convey which Gina obviously does not like to hear. Oh no, rather Gina doesn't like everything about Dinda.

"Well, did you get that taddy bear?" Dinda pointed at the taddy bear that was in Gina's arms.

"Yes, I won it in a shooting game."

"You won it yourself?" Dinda was in disbelief.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Well, you're so good at shooting all those cans down."

"Yes, I think I'm in luck tonight. Or I'm so excited that I can drop all the cans." Then Gina laughed that seemed contrived.

"Your wife is great, Sur. He didn't even trouble you to get a teddy bear that big." Again the sentence Dinda interpreted ambiguous by Gina. Gina is really sentimental right now.

"Yes, that's why I fell in love with her. He's so great." Gina seemed to not believe her hearing and immediately turned her eyes to Surya who was beside her. Surya says that to Dinda, his first love, the only girl that made him fall in love.

For a moment Gina thought whether this was part of the totality of their play or because she wanted to make Dinda jealous, Surya did very well. Surya even had a chance to look at him gently when he said that. If this is a play, then Surya is very good because he really lives his role. Suddenly Gina smiled wryly thinking that.

"Ahh, you guys are really like most newlyweds huh." Dinda laughed in response to Surya's words.

"Gina, you're so lucky to get Surya."

"Yes, I know." For the sake of totality as well, now Gina instead hugged Surya's arm with her other hand that was not holding the doll. He no longer cared whether Surya wanted to be sweet for the sake of making a play or for the sake of making Dinda jealous, which Gina obviously felt had to show Dinda how close they were.

"Surya, I'm hungry. Let's eat fruitful food." Gina's spawning now.

"Alright, let's eat boiled noodles." Bring Surya.

"Well, that looks good. Is that like ramen or bakmi?" Ask Gina in more detail about the menu Surya offers.

"Later you'll know." Surya looked at Gina with his smile.

"All right." Gina returned Surya's gaze cheerfully.

"Come with us, Din. We haven't eaten together in a long time." Hearing Surya say that, Gina became a little annoyed. He thought Surya was no longer interested in Dinda but now he invited her.

"Alright, I'm also looking to eat boiled noodles." Dinda responded with pleasure. Her pretty face became even more beautiful as she smiled so widely.

Since walking towards the stall of boiled noodles, Gina did not take her hand off Surya's arm at all. He really wanted to make it clear to Dinda that they were a happy husband and wife.

"I want two bowls? It's okay, right?" Gina asks Surya for permission. Surya frowned. Not because of the surprise with the double portion that Gina asked for but because of the tumben once Gina asked for her permission. Usually he would do everything as he pleased. But this time Gina asks him for permission to eat two bowls of boiled noodles that he has never eaten.

"All right." Surya permit. They really are such a sweet couple.

"Why, instant noodles when making it at home and buying it at the stall tastes different?" Said Dinda opened the conversation because since then Gina and Surya like ignoring them.

"Different how?" Ask Surya.

"It feels better to eat at a stall than to make it yourself at home."

"Oh, that's probably because the maturity level of the water used is different when cooking." Answer Surya.

"So the maturity level of instant noodles will also be influenced and make it taste different."

"Ahh yes." Dinda seemed satisfied with the answer thrown by Surya.

"Or maybe when buying at the stall already contains the champion of the seller so that the taste can be better." Answer the original Gina while stroking the taddy bear next to her. Surya and Dinda both heard Gina's reply. The shop owner held back the laughter of hearing Gina's own casual words.

A few moments later their order boiled noodles came. A bowl that reflects hot steam and a very tempting aroma. Gina's eyes sparkled at that. He put the noodles in his mouth. One mouthful tastes so delicious. This is how food is enjoyed when hungry. It feels so much more delicious.

Surya and Dinda have also started eating their noodles. After the first bowl, there was no need to wait, the second bowl of his order was ready. The shop owner seemed to know when to prepare it and was very timely. Gina also ate her second noodles voraciously. He was starving because the last food that went into his stomach was at lunch.

Gina was done with her second bowl following Surya and Dinda who had finished first. There was no conversation between the three of them. They both enjoyed the food with wisdom.

"Well, Miss?" Ask Surya.

"Enak. It was like eating ramen."

"This is ramen village, miss." Said Surya who when he heard it Dinda immediately smiled wryly in response.

Surya who has someone's wife from the city so name whatever is in the village using the additional name of the village also for Gina. He seemed very attentive to Gina. Linda could see that.

"You Yu. Order the boiled noodles. We just ate." Surya Barar.

"No thanks, Mom. I'm already full. It's burned corn in there."

"You alone?" Ask Dinda.

"No mbak, with friends."

"Where's your friend?" Ask again.

"That's him there, madam. Under the palanquin tree." Show Ayu to someone standing under a tree playing with her phone.

"Well, your friend's a man?" Surya Chirps.

"Awas, I'm throwing it at the bulek."

"just throw. We're not doing anything either."

"He's not this village boy, is he?" Surya watched Ayu's friend.

"Yes Mas. He's my schoolmate." Ayu Evident.

"All right, I'll go first. Please enjoy the night market. Especially to Gina. Nothing like this will be in town, Ma'am." Gina who was still drinking her warm tea could only nod her head. His stomach was too full to speak again.

"Bas with the boy." Surya Mumbles.

"Ju is already a girl." Dinda still saw Ayu's back walking away from them.

"It used to be the smallest but always the one who wanted to win alone when we played together." Dinda started to reminisce about their past again. Gina knew what to do so she would not always invite Surya to reminisce.

"Surya, I'm sleepy. Let's go home." Cut Gina while yawning like she didn't notice what Dinda said.

"Yes Miss." Surya paid a sum of money to the owner of the stall and then stood up from the long bench of the stall. Gina and Dinda followed.

"Thank you for the boiled noodles, Sur. I'll change it sometime."

"You're this. It's like revenge."

"Yes, let it break even."

"It is not important to be considered debt and break even." Surya laughed afterwards.

Gina was already upset because they were still talking and it seemed like Surya knew Gina was lazy to talk and finally invited her home. Dinda still wants to be there. He said he wanted to enjoy the night market first.

The location of the night market and Surya house is not too far away. It took them just a little while to finally arrive. Gina got off the bike and walked straight into the house whose door was still open.

"Where have you been, Nduk?" Ask Surya's mother who saw Gina just come in. Gina stopped the move for a moment.

"We were caught in the rain, Mom."

"Where are you taking shelter?"

"In the fertilizer shed, ma'am."

"Oh my God..." Surya's mother looked pityful to Gina.

"This is it." Surya's mother saw Surya coming in.

"You are like your father. When you are in the fields always forget time. You don't pity your wife looking for you that way. Already know dark cloudy, why still not go home. Fortunately, you are not in the rain. What if your wife gets rained down and gets in the wind. Don't you feel sorry?" Mother Surya nagged. Gina who saw that did not become upset with Surya. He felt sorry for Surya. While Surya was still dumbfounded at the door received a 'lecture' by his mother.

"It's okay, Mom. I really wanted to pick him up and take a walk to see the rice fields." Gina defended Surya. Surya who heard that became confused. Just now he saw Gina folding her face into a jutek, now even making a defense for him.

"Oh, fine then. I'm in first." Surya's mother then went into her room. Gina also went into the bathroom to take a shower.

After the shower, Gina went into the room. Surya sat on his folding mattress while opening the phone.

"By the way, thank you, Miss." Surya said as Gina sat in front of the mirror to put on her night cream. Surya put down his phone. Now he turned to look at Gina from the reflection of the mirror he was facing.

"Thank you for what?" Gina was still so cute while leveling the serum on her clean and glowing face.

"Have defended me in front of Mom."

"Who defended you? I'm just telling the truth. So don't be so confident."

"Yes Miss, but still what you said made mom stop nagging."

"Yes, okay. I thank you so much that you can sleep well tonight." Said Gina then while walking towards the bed. Surya smiled in response while also preparing to put his body on his folding cot.

"Good night, Miss." Surya. Gina opened her eyes again.

This is the first time Surya has said good night to her even though they have been sleeping one room lately. But that's why it sounds so beautiful in Gina's ear. He really felt that the pellet effect was so powerful that it could make something so simple feel overwhelming.
