Solar Throne
Refusal

"Marry me, Miss." Surya's face turned serious instantly. The glint of her eyes revealed a seriousness that made Gina feel uncomfortable.

"Surya... is this a proposal?" Gina asked in a soft tone of voice and eyes could not be separated from Surya.

"Yes, I proposed to you." Surya even pulled out a small box from behind his body that he had somehow kept since then but clearly Gina could already guess what it contained.

When Surya opened the box, according to what was in Gina's mind, a very beautiful round solitaire diamond ring. Its luster is very visible with excellent cut quality so it is highly reflective and brilliant. But it just made Gina feel uncomfortable for some reason.

"Ehhem." Gina sneered to relieve a little of her uncomfortable feelings. He knows why he feels that way but he tries to control himself by staying calm.

"You're serious?" Gina asked who turned her gaze from that beautiful diamond ring to Surya's face.

"I'm serious, Miss."

"You sure this is what you want? I thought you were just kidding." With a small laugh Gina was still trying to mark Surya. Hearing Gina's question this time, Surya frowned. Gina's sentence means that maybe Surya is not sure what he said to her.

"Are you not sure what I'm saying?" Surya asked back because he felt Gina doubted him.

Gina turned her face somewhere else. He doesn't know what he's feeling right now. But he knew very clearly that he did not know what to answer in response to Surya's statement just now.

"We know each other. I know how you are and vice versa. We lived together, we lived together, and now I think we have the same feeling. Does it still not meet the criteria for me to say that?" Surya's tone of voice scared Gina. The tone of voice was so firm.

"I know, but I think it's too sudden. Oh no, I mean it's too soon for us. We're just starting a dating relationship and it's only been a while but we've been talking about marriage. I feel this is too rushed. I'm sorry.." said Gina sorry she said with a low bada regret. Sorry because this time he was not as familiar with Surya.

"I should apologize, Miss. I was in a hurry." Surya said weakly and fixed his seat to turn his face away from Gina.

Gina was very confident that Surya was disappointed that he had rejected her proposal. But how else, Gina is not ready for the wedding that Surya offers. Slowly Gina regretted ignoring her previous worries that turned out today to make Surya increasingly reinforce her point. It even turned out that he had prepared a beautiful diamond ring.

At first Gina did think it was natural for lovers to talk about marriage. But if the marriage Surya is talking about is the one they should be doing in the near future, Gina feels objection and does not want to accept Surya's proposal first.

"Miss..." Call Hanna slowly but Gina doesn't hear it and is engrossed in looking the other way.

"Miss..." Once again Hanna called out the name of her superior but it was still the same. Gina was still silent with her hand on her chin to use to support her head.

"Miss Gina..." Looks like it worked this time. Gina turned her gaze to Hanna while staring dumbly.

"Yes." Yeah." Gina answered nervously as if waking up from sleep but her eyes never closed.

"Miss sick?" Hanna asked with a little worry.

"No. I'm fine. I'm just a little tired. Let's just continue later. You can go back to your desk. I'll be out for a minute." Gina shuts down the tablet PC on her desk which she used to match data from the file Hanna described.

"Where, Miss? Let me accompany."

"Don't. You rest. I'll just be around the R-Company building. I'm not going far."

"None right." Hanna let Gina out of her room. Hanna stared at the door that Gina had just closed back in worry. He believes something happened to his boss. Whether she's not feeling well or something might bother her, Gina looks different these days. It was hard to concentrate and seemed to be thinking about something.

Gina walked out of the elevator. He headed to the park next to R-Company and approached his favorite long bench when bored with his work. After sitting under a long bench under the flamboyant flowering tree, Gina took a deep breath and exhaled it violently. He took the phone in his pocket of ivory trousers that he combined with his baby pink shirt. Look at the screen and find nothing there. No chat messages came in at all. Especially from Surya.

Gina closed her eyes for a moment and recalled the last time they met a few days ago.

"Married to me, Miss. I'm proposing to you. I'm serious."

The expression on Surya's face as he said that was clearly reflected in Gina's memory. His eyes are serious. But indeed he was not ready with it so Surya's seriousness was forced to refuse. Either evil or selfish, but he could not force himself to accept Surya's proposal when his heart was not ready. She is not ready to be a wife. He still wants to be himself and do whatever he wants. If she decides to date Surya, it's because Gina loves Surya. But Gina isn't sure her feelings of love should take her to the fold as well. He had dated many men but that too he walked casually. He never thought about ending a relationship with marriage even now. He still felt it was something Gina had not wanted to do.

"Is he angry that I rejected him? Why didn't he call me at all?" Gina was on her phone from earlier.

"Can he be angry when I refuse? She really makes me look like a bad woman." Again Gina took a deep breath thinking about Surya who was angry with her.

"Did I call him first?" Gina starts to open her phone screen and buttons Surya's name from the contact menu.

"No. I can't do it. What if he comes after me again by getting me married? What do I have to answer?" Gina undoes her intention to call Surya.

"Oh my God, Surya.. Why are you?" Gina looked at the photo on Surya's contact details that she had stored on her phone with anxiety. But then he raised his face when he heard a footstep approaching him. Gina could also see if it was a man's footsteps, visible from the shoes she saw heading towards her.

Hanna came out from inside Gina's room and looked towards Feby who was also looking at her. Just a quick glance then Feby again continued his work typing on the laptop keyboard board in front of him. Hanna then sat in the front seat of Feby's desk. Seeing that, Feby frowned, astonished.

"Miss Gina why so long." Mumbled Hanna who seemed to want to tell Feby too.

"Where did Miss Gina go? Tumben you didn't go with him?" Feby Response.

"He said he'd only be out around here for a little while. But it's been almost an hour and Miss Gina hasn't come back yet."

"Miss Gina told you what she's working on?"

"Come on, Miss Gina just wanted to go out and not say where to go or what to do."

"We'll just wait. Maybe there's a job he's got to do without our intention." Feby relaxed while continuing work on his laptop. But a while later he looked at Hanna who had also looked at him as well. They seem to have the same idea.

"Where might Miss Gina do the work without our knowledge." Feby sounded worried.

"So, where's Miss Gina going?" As her personal assistant, Hanna instead looks a little panicked because whatever Gina should be doing, she should always accompany her.

Hanna got up from the chair and walked up to the elevator. It should have been enough to call, but Gina was his boss, if there was nothing urgent and just because he wanted to know where he was, it was rude to call him from a phone call.

"You think this is your office? It's as if you're in and out of here." Gina culas.

"I'm an R-Company relation so what's wrong with me here." Reply to the man who is now sitting next to Gina.

"Is there an official agenda that makes you have to visit here? Is that so unreliable of you to R-Company that you always have to go down and watch your people who work here?"

"No, it's not. I just..."

"Just want to see your wife?" Sela Gina is on target. Marco, who heard that, smiled in embarrassment because he had been caught by Gina.

"Is this really you?" Gina asked as she looked at Marco straight.

"Hey, what do you mean? You think I have a twin?" Marco chuckles.

"It's great that your baby can make you change so far."

"No, I'm like this. I love Hanna very much and always pay attention to her. Yeah, although sometimes I still get carried away with the bad habit of playing with women."

"Basstupid, it's the same as you don't really love Hanna. Because you still often turn your heart to other women."

"No, I never turned my heart to any woman except Hanna. It's just me, they always take me away so I don't feel good about rejecting their call."

"You think Hanna is your lock so you can play with those women and go back to Hanna when you're tired. Just try and do that, I'll beat you up."

"No, I'm not that anymore. I've had enough of that bad habit. Now I have to be a good husband and when my son is born I will also be a good Papa to our baby."

"Good, don't let me get you to act stupid again like you last did yesterday."

"Yes..." Marco assured Gina.

"You know, it's not easy for a man to marry a woman and give up his old habits before marriage. They must be men who have a lot of love for their women. I'm sure no man suddenly wants to get married when he's not sure of his feelings." Marco was clear to make his statement.

"I am too. I love Hanna very much and will always love her even if there are many women around me. So I was sure that what I felt was love and that made me sure to marry her. Hi, sweetie..." Gina looked at Marco who suddenly switched the conversation with her and called out the affection in a loud voice.

Gina sees Marco staring in a direction and makes him follow her. There, on the terrace beside the lobby stood Hanna who was smiling at Marco and now changed into smiling at him as well.

"What are you doing here?" Hanna asked Marco who stood up to greet Hanna who was already in front of her.

"Have you had lunch?" Marco asked and was answered with a nod by Hanna.

"good. Not nauseous, right?"

"Nausea, and then even vomit." Hanna replied with a slight complaint.

"All right, I brought you bento. Just eat this bento. I'm sure this won't make you nauseous. I ordered bento without fish and meat. All the dishes are derived from vegetable protein. There's nugget tempeh and tofu that tastes so good." Marco picked up a box he had brought that was placed on the long bench.

"You bought it?" Hanna asked with sparkling eyes getting Marco's attention.

"Yes, one of my employees opened a part-time business and offered it to the employees. I happen to know that and tasted it yesterday. So today I ordered it for you."

"Thank you, Papa." Hanna said giving a call of affection to their baby-to-be. Marco smiled happily to see his wife looking happy like that.

"Ehhem..." Gina mendehem told her whereabouts between the two of them.

"Am I not here?" Sindir Gina to Marco and Hanna who had been chatting so sweetly that it was like forgetting her existence there.

"Oh, sorry Miss." Said Hanna felt bad for ignoring her superior who was there. Behind Marco's body.

"By the way, did Marco bother you? I apologize if he did." Hearing that Marco shook his head in self-defense that he had not done any interference to Gina.

"No, I didn't do anything. I just greeted him. I greet my wife's boss to be polite." Obviously Marco did not want Hanna to misunderstand and thought he had done something that could bother Gina.

"really?" Hanna did not believe it.

"Yes God. You shouldn't suspect me of bothering my ex-boyfriend but you should think it's possible that he and I are doing bad things behind your back."

"Hey, it's delicious. Who will do it with you." Gina could not accept Marco saying that even if it was just a parable.

"I can't possibly think that. Miss Gina wouldn't do that." Hearing that Gina nodded in support of what Hanna said.

"Why are you taking her side, not mine?" Marco was weaving his lips to find Hanna's unexpected attitude.

"It's not so, but I believe you won't do that to me again. You're a good Papa candidate so you'll always take care of your heart even with any woman, won't you?" Hanna's sentence this time over made Gina aghast. Hanna seemed to be supporting her husband right now. But then Gina understood Hanna's situation and smiled. However Marco behaves first, because Hanna loves him, then all bad things will be ruled out if Marco has shown a good attitude.

"alright... Marco doesn't bother me. But if I stay here, I think I'm the real bully. So, I'm going in." Gina nodded and moved from her seat. Hanna also gave Marco a code to say goodbye to him. But Gina saw that.

"Hey, where are you going?" Gina asked Hanna who started turning around to follow her.

"I'll be in, too, Miss."

"No. This time I'm giving you the job of staying here." Hearing Gina's sentence containing the command, Hanna became confused. Marco is the same.

"You gave me the task of eating the bento brought by your husband. Eat with him."

"But Miss..." Hanna was still confused by the task given by her superior.

"Marco, make sure Hanna eats all her food out. It'll be better if you bribe her."

"Ready, commander." Marco put his right hand on his forehead as if doing TNI-style respect. Gina smiled cutely at Marco's behavior. Then he left the couple with a calm heart because it seemed like Marco had really kept his promise to love Hanna well and right. Gina walked away from Hanna and Marco who took her place now.

"Surya really silenced me." He complained with a claustrophobic heart because he did not know what to do to make the relationship and Surya returned as usual.

Gina reads the contents of a chat message to a group of businessmen from her mobile phone when Hanna comes to her desk.

"Miss, it's late." Hanna said hinting that their working hours were up.

"Yes, you go home first." Gina replied as she turned her gaze from the phone to Hanna's face in front of her desk.

"I'll be home after this.

"Alright, Miss. See you tomorrow." Gina nodded and gave a smile to Hanna which then passed from before her. Gina again saw the contents of the message that she had ignored.

There is written a notice that tomorrow is a routine schedule of meetings of the employers union held. Suddenly Gina has an idea to start a conversation back with Surya.
