The sound of curtains being opened. Surya took his eyes off the phone to look at Gina. Surya's eyes watched from head to toe. Gina became misbehaved when Surya looked at her like that. Surya slowly approached Gina. Very close and getting closer.
Gina sculpted as Surya grabbed the veil in the back of her hair. It left them with almost no distance.
"Perfect..." Surya said as soon as veil it covered Gina's face.
"Good, again you refuse, you die." After her remark, Gina turned into the fitting room to replace the dress with her own clothes. Surya only responded with a smile.

"Huhhh... I hate this situation." Gina placed the pen hard on the table she was facing. In front of him was a stack of product catalog files. Hanna who was facing the laptop on her desk turned her gaze towards him.
"Can I help you, Miss?" Hanna approaches Gina. Not just being Gina's personal assistant, Hanna was a mentor to him. All the things Gina should know, Hanna was the source of her knowledge.
"Hanna... Are you married?"
"Sorry Miss?" Hanna raised both eyebrows not understanding Gina's intentions.
"Yes, are you married?" Gina stared straight. A few days as an assistant, Gina did not know much about him.
"I'm not married, Miss."
"I guessed it. You look so young." Hearing that, Hanna gave a knotty smile at Gina's assessment.
"But marriage the main factor that determines is not about how old we are, Miss."
"really?"
"Marriage is often based on the desire of two people who love each other to agree to live life together in joy and sorrow."
"Hahh, who really loves each other and agrees for the sake of living together." Gina doesn't believe Hanna's point of view. Hanna showed a surprised face. How could his boss say that while he was about to have a wedding. Gina didn't care if Hanna thought about what she said.
However, her wedding plans are not based on what Hanna understands. Gina and Surya's marriage is a condition that requires Gina to undergo it.
"You got a boyfriend?" Ask Gina later.
"mmm... His pu, No-na." Hanna replied a little stuttering because there was such a doubt to her tone.
"If you have, why would you hesitate to tell me?" Gina could catch that.
"You have a boyfriend or not, it won't affect your position in R-Company at all." Gina then laughed at Hanna's nervousness at Gina's very personal question.
"I think besides the assistant, you can be my friend. We're both women, we're always together, I hope I won't fall in love with you so I ask. I don't want to like people's girlfriends."
"Sorry Miss???" Hanna glared in response to Gina's remark. Seeing that, Gina laughed.
"Haha... I'm just kidding, Hanna." Still with the rest of his laughter. Hanna who was shocked, was now confused. A Gina was joking with him.
"I'm a really woman. I'm not a same-sex person. I'm a normal woman. I like handsome guys." Gina wiped away the melted tears, her habit if she laughed. He included people with the condition because when laughing his facial muscles become shriveled so that it puts pressure on the tear glands that cause tears to come out when laughing.
"You're funny too. It's easy to trust me."
"Of course I believe in you. You said it with a very serious face. I was scared at first. I think I'm in danger of working with a same-sex person."
"I'm perfectly normal and I like someone."
"Hmmm..the scent of the bride is very strong every time I am near you." It was Guru Hanna who started to feel familiar after Gina pranked him.
"Know what you are." Gina closed the file.
"You, love your boyfriend?" Ask Gina and again make Hanna confused because it is a personal thing. He thought maybe it was a form of personal life interview for him. Or maybe Gina really wanted to be friends with him so they had to talk about personal things to become familiar.
"Yes Miss. A relationship in general must be based on love."
"It's lucky that they have a boyfriend and love each other." Hanna frowned because again she was confused by Gina's words that could cause various assumptions.
"Everyone feels it, miss. I can see that on you too."
"You don't know anything about me. No one knows about me." Gina turned her cloudy face towards her study window on the 10th floor.
"How long have you been in a relationship with your boyfriend?"
"I think it's almost 2 years, Miss."
"Emmm... " Gina's question goes deeper and leaves Hanna confused as to what to answer.
"We, oh I mean me and my boyfriend haven't talked about that. We're just still going through our relationship step by step."
"Yes, enjoy your free life first. There's still plenty of time to determine who's right as a life partner." Gina said with a serious face.
"You know, life's too short to go through with the wrong people."
"Yes, you're right, Miss. Actually I don't mind if I have to marry young, as long as the one I marry is the one I love and also love me." Added Hanna.
"But we haven't reached that stage yet."
"That's very sweet. Love each other..." Gina's gaze glared away like she was thinking of someone.
"Ahh, it's been 5 minutes." Gina looked at the watch in her hand.
"Let's go home. I'll continue my work tomorrow."
"But the day after tomorrow is your wedding day, Miss."
"Who cares about the wedding day. Everyone gets married, not just me. What special. Let's just say I'm a workaholic, so much in love with my job that I don't even want to take a day off despite having an event as important as anything."
"I didn't think Miss was so hardworking. You really are a true R-Company owner."
"Of course, I am indeed the owner of R-Company. It's just that Papa is angry with me and lends my position to Surya." Gina spoke more openly as she was sure Hanna had big questions about what was going on in R-Company lately. The only child of an R-Company owner who becomes an ordinary employee and 'rooters' like Surya gets the highest position. Gina also thought maybe Hanna knew what was going on so saying as well as her tongue would not have any side effects on her.
"Yes Miss. The conflict between parents and children has happened a lot. So, you have to show Mr. Rangga that you can also be the owner of the R-Company as it should be. Not Mr. Surya."
"You're supporting me?" Gina looked at Hanna looking for that honesty in the depths of her eyes.
"Of course."
"Aren't you Surya's man to teach me? You're not supporting Surya to stay in position now?"
"Sorry Miss, this is indeed a bit complicated to explain. But I work according to what was assigned. And I'm happy to do this because I'm going to make something good work the way it should. You become the president of R-Company, your family-owned company."
"Surya didn't say anything to you when you gave you my assistant?" Gina asked with a little research.
"Say what?" Hanna asked herself while trying to remember something.
"Be Miss Gina's personal assistant. Show him how he should work at R-Company." Surya said to Hanna when he appointed her as Gina's assistant at that time.
"About that, Miss."
"He didn't say you had to help me become president?"
"No Miss."
"Ahh, I'm so stupid. Where could Surya do that. Being a president is very good for him. Why must it be so soon to hand over office to me." Gina smiled wryly.
"I'm confused as to why he's hosting you my personal assistant under the pretext that I can quickly seize his position. While he could have let me stick to my incompetence in R-Company and he could have enjoyed everything he had right now."
"Come on, Miss."
"Of course he won't tell you his head. Why is he being so good? Does he want to show me how stupid I am to be president of R-Company." Gina was still with her own thoughts.
"It could be, Miss."
"Dissipate once him." Gina got up from her seat.
"It's late afternoon, let's go home. I've been stalling you home for half an hour. Take it as overtime today."
"No need Miss, I'm a high-loyalty employee." Hanna answered with a big smile.
"Oh yeah?" Gina turned to look at Hanna behind her who was closing the door after leaving the room.
"I thought you were a quiet girl at first, but you could joke too." Hanna simply replied with a smile and followed Gina towards the elevator door.
"She..." Suddenly someone called his name from behind. Gina and Hanna turned.
A man with light behind his head. Like an angel who descends to the earth whose light dazzles the eye of every human being who looks. Like there was a song by Beyonce entitled Halo playing in the head of Gina.
